My sister-in-law has moved into Greenwood Meadows. I think it's clean and cheerful. The staff are friendly. It doesn't have a bad smell. It's pleasant with lots of windows and light coming in. They offer lots of activities, but my sister-in-law had a stroke, so she has no speech currently and doesn't participate. They do have a daily schedule like bingo, and someone coming in and playing music. They have activities every day, but she hasn't attended. They have church services, games, crafts, and quite a few things. The food is good, usually hot, and enjoyed by my sister-in-law. The dining room is clean, bright, and well decorated. There's a schedule hanging on the wall in her room where they have activities every day. She's on Medicare right now, and I know the cost for private pay is like average of every place else.

When you first walk in the facility looks very new and updated equipment. Then things change as soon as you step in the rooms they are very old and not well put together. The medical beds are extremely old they don’t have wheels so if emergency crews need to assist the patient they have to yank the beds to moved them. Which means if there should be a fire and you have a patient that can get out of the bed they have no way of getting them out. What we experienced was so of the worst care possible. My dad is a bigger guy and they told us they had the equipment to take care of him. They did not so instead they let my dad get there and set back everything rehab did to help him go back. The sores that were almost healed are now back open. He now is in the hospital. Greenwood meadows left a needle from the blood draw on his bed and never removed it until we showed a nurse. Staff there are so far way from there patients that they couldn’t even hear the man across from my dads room yelling for help. The man had fallen and the only reason they heard him was cause the nurse that came to talk to us finally heard the man yelling for help. I have more to write but it would take me hours to write. I took photos of everything that happened.

Actually zero stars. Do not take your loved ones here! A friend’s dad was here for less than 24 hours and had to leave by ambulance after complete neglect. Meds not administered, needle from blood draw found in bed, bed not appropriately sized, chair lift not removed from underneath him causing skin breakage, catheter not properly placed, etc. I’m less than a day a man on the mend from multiple procedures went medically backwards probably a month in recovery. Another patient was laying on floor yelling for help and no one ever heard him or came. Yes - all has been reported. Just spare your family the nightmare!

My brother was there for rehab to home care and the place was mostly clean, staff were nice but they did not take care of him very well. Did not change his sheets, gave him a shower once a week if lucky and rehab was only one hour per day, when that was the purpose of his stay. I rarely ever saw a nurse, although the social services there helped us a lot. And upon check-in and check out (4 wks later) they really did not help us get him in or out. And did not seem to care that he was leaving at all. His room was rarely ever cleaned or trash removed. I expected a little more from this nursing home. Family needs to check in there often to keep track of their loved ones

My dad has been moved into Greenwood Meadows because he fell at the other facility and broke his neck, so now, he is in skilled nursing. It's comparable to what else is available around here. He is in a semi-private room, so there are two people. He is bedridden, so I don't see him being in other parts of the buildings to know what those other things would be like. They were recommended by the hospice. They were one of the few places that had the requirements and had an opening that was located close to his family members for us all to be able to visit. I thought his food is fine, appearance-wise, but I didn't taste any of it to know if it is bland or not bland.

Our mother lived in three facilities over the 7 years that she dealt with Alzheimers. Greenwood meadows provided her with the comprehensive care she needed up to the very end of her life. More than any other facility they reached out to us, initiating phone calls to give updates and setting up care regular meetings. They had activities and staff caring for her 24/7. During her last days the entire staff showed intentional and involved care - many staff members came to her bedside to offer and give assistance to her AND to us. The love and support we felt cannot be understated. Thank you to the entire team!

My mother spent her last 5 weeks of life at Greenwood Meadows. The staff was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, dependable, and her room was kept clean. Administrative staff were responsive to our families requests. My mother was not eating so it is difficult to speak to the quality of food, however, the little I tried tasted more than fine. I doubt there are any perfect nursing homes in existence so it is important you stay involved with your loved ones care on a daily to weekly basis to ensure proper care. I would definitely recommend Greenwood Meadows long-term care facility to any one in need of these types of services.

Basically cheerful atmosphere in facility and staff. It was clean and well kept. I got good physical therapy. The staff was helpful and most were friendly. There does need to be a rule about the patients turning off or at least down their tv after 11 pm unless they are in a private room. I enjoyed being able to wash my own laundry. Activities were plentious but I was so sick that I could not participate. The nurses tried to do a good job keeping my meds straight. I got prompt responses to my call light. If I could not go to the dining room, I did receive meals in my room at meal time. I liked the patience and encouragement from the therapy staff. Physical therapy and occupational therapy was excellent. The social worker, Phoebe Lemonds, gave me helpful follow up advice for when I went home. She helped me get in home help set up. This has been an answer to prayer.

Unbelievable. Rude staff from dietary to nurses. I expected professionalism and basic ethical standards. Nurse gave wrong meds twice, pts reacted yet no one documented that. Place needs shut down. Ants crawling around in 500 dining around cups that are never cleaned enough. Really disgusted by facility.

I can't believe that this place is not getting five star reviews from everyone. We looked high and low at nursing homes for our mother. As soon as we toured Greenwood Meadows we were able to stop looking. I have never seen such an open and caring staff from the administrators to the clinical people to the kitchen and custodial people. Every one down here took to my mother as if she was THEIR own mother. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their excellent care and caring. Thank you again, Greenwood Meadows staff.

I have dealt with numerous nursing homes during my father and husbands last days. So I was very watchful and leary when she was sent there. My mother was there 2 months for the rehab. The nurses were very good. The aides were the best I have ever seen. All of them treated my mother like a baby. Even when they were on different wings they came to check on her. Mom was always self-reliant/independent hating to rely on others. They managed to see past that to the person she really was. A GIANT THANK YOU TO NURSE KELSEY AND AIDES JOEY AND BUDDY. You kept her happy. the only complaint she had was not enough help in the dining room and food would get cold before she got it.. She likes very hot food.

My mother ended up staying in Greenwood Meadows for rehab. She liked it and was making friends. The facility itself was kind of cool in that it has a nursing station in the center and halls that come off of that. They have a rehab part, which is where she started, and then she transitioned from rehab to the skilled. As for activities, she was there for Christmas, and it was decorated beautifully, and they had Christmas activities for the residents and the family. Any issue I've had has been addressed and they have been very good about making changes to make it work. They have a nurse practitioner six days a week and physicians that come in and check on the residents. It is not perfect, but I don’t think there is any place that is perfect.

There are things my mom liked at Greenwood Meadows and there are things she disliked. She did not like the food. The staff was very nice but there seemed to be quite a bit of people needing help and not getting it very quickly. It has a hospital like environment and it was pretty much expensive too. I think I would recommend it for people looking for a nursing home.

The care that my grandfather has received here has been outstanding. He has been there sever times. Health issues included a fractured hip, stroke and heart attack. Each time the nursing and therapy staff have provided excellent care. I will recommend Greenwood Meadows as a top notch facility.

My father is currently in Greenwood Meadows. I like the location and cleanliness of it. For a nursing home, atmosphere is what could be expected. They have bingo, music, and they have pets that come in to see them periodically. The rooms are small, but they're really nice.

Greenwood Meadows is not a place you want to put your loved one. The staff is very rude, and will treat you and your loved one like you don't matter. Choose a different place for your loved one.

Greenwood Meadows is an awful facility. The staff is rude and takes minimum care, at best, of your loved one. They don't take them regularly to the restroom, offer liquids outside of meals, don't document falls or incidences. I would never, with a good conscious, recommend them to anyone. Too bad I had to even put 1 star!

This place is not a good place to put your loved ones. Christina, one of the nurses, is horrible. She put my Mother in a dark room all alone like she was NOTHING! The rest of the nursing staff I can take or leave. There might have been a couple of nurses that actually cared for my Mother while she was there. We have since moved her to another facility because this place does not know how to handle dementia/Alzheimer patients but yet they have a memory care unit. I wouldn't take my parent there. If there was a zero star, I would have put that!

i really liked this place for Mom. The night she was dying a nurse, Kaitlyn Woods, made sure we had privacy to say our goodbyes. Amy is great and Shannon! And Sharon the Social worker is top notch! I loved how big it was there! Mom thought she lived in an apartment! But I do Hate the Alzheimer's area! Too small!! Most staff is Great!

My experience with Greenwood Meadows was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, but most importantly they were caring and understanding and I loved them and feel they generally loved me too! The Staff went above and beyond what was expected of them! Greenwood Meadows had all the amenities I needed as well. They provided me with top quality care in a great environment. No one wants to have to rely on people to live their life, No one wants to lose their independence, but unfortunately it happens. Places like Greenwood Meadows make the loss of your independence a lot more of a bearable experience, and that is priceless! The facility was clean and comfortable and accommodating to my family who visited. Fortunately for me my stay wasn't extremely long before I was well enough to go home, but if I had to make a choice to stay somewhere temporarily or even permanently, I would most definitely choose Greenwood Meadows. I have had other assisted living care and the majority of it was sub par at best. It was refreshing to find that there are places that still care about the people they help!

The staff was very attentive to my Grandmother while she was there. She had all of her needs and wants met and they were very accommodating to our large family being in her room. The facility was very clean, both in look and smell. My grandmother could be a hard woman to please but she loved the staff and they loved her back. They were very great when she passed away and helped us with how to handle her arrangements.
