My wife was sent here for help with her arms/hands that were injured in a golf cart ride where a car forced us off the road. I've been here with her everyday and today makes 6 days since she's had a shower!! The nurses don't help her with her food, and the bathroom. She needs to get out of here and I'll see to make it happen!

The atmosphere at this facility was perfect for my Dad. The staff was amazing from very start. Megan helped us so much by getting us into the facility in a very timely manner and was so sweet. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend using this facility if needed.

Patients that ce directly from the hospital with a negative covid test are still put on 14 day hold they don't receive any of the rehab needed. The food was so terrible that I would bring dinner to my loved one. My loved one was there for over a month when he should of only been there a couple of weeks in this process he contracted covid was moved to the Covid unit still received terrible care and he called 911 himself to go to the hospital to get the appropriate care

My aunt was a patient there, I warned my cuz but it was too late.... Unanswered call lights and she had to take herself to bathroom even though she was high risk for falls, hip fracture. Quit playing with your phones and WORK.

Since the sale of Kindred, the quality of care has become horrifying. There are never any supplies, calls remain unanswered and most of the staff sits at the nurses station and plays on their phones, the food is inedible. Clothes are lost or stolen. A resident was in the dining room the other day dripping urine on the floor because she had not been changed!!! I saw another taken to therapy wet up to her breast!!! There are a lot of dedicated employees that really care for the residents, but they can only stretch so far. I sincerely hope that these issues can be rectified for the good of the residents. Zero stars!!

Awful facility. Majority of staff unprofessional. Food disgusting. Up to 1 hour wait to get call light answered. Overall condition dirty. Exec director arrogant. Wrong medications given. Loud. Retaliation by staff if patient voices concerns. Patients required to accommodate schedule that best suits staff. Just awful.

Our Father, was a resident of the Kindred Transitional Care and Reilbilitation Center in Greefeild, IN. What wonderful care and treatment he received. We have the upmost respect for all the Nurses and All the Staffmembers. We could have not asked for more Wonderful people to take care of our father, whom had Altzheimers. We have always said, that it takes Special people with a huge heart, lots of caring, passion, trust, kindness and support We sure had found it here, for our father. We could go home each night, knowing he had 24/7 Caregivers, whom took good care of him. They become part of your family. Very nice and clean facility. We could never give enough Thank You's and Hugs to Each and Everyone of you (the TCU unit and the Reflections 2 unit) and ALL Staffmembers. We Sincerely Appreciate Everyone here at Kindred of Greenfield.

I was at Kindred in Greenfield, IN for 12 days receiving rehabilitation for a broken hip. This facility was absolutely amazing! From the Nursing staff, physical therapy, activies, cafeteria/dietitian to administration all treated me with the utmost care and respect. The entire staff at Kindred was second to none in the care that I received! Thank you Kindred!

I went to Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. The staff was excellent. They were helpful all the time. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and very nice. The food was nice, and it looked good. They had very nice dining areas. They had one for transition care unit, and they had another larger one for whoever wanted to go there. They had activities like cross word puzzles, magazines, TVs, movies, and general areas if they wanted to get together. I liked it because they had 24 wait staff and a nurse that visited the people in general, who was very helpful and nice.
EXREMELY SATISFIED

Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab would definitely be my first choice for placement of a loved one. My grandfather was there previously and my grandmother is currently a resident. The nursing staff show a tremendous amount of professionalism to the residents as well as making the families feel at home. The staff are always available to assist with any needs that they may come across. Therapy at this facility is excellent and always provides an excellent service to their residents. The building is very inviting and clean. This facility provides an amazing amount of comfort and peace of mind to the families who have placed their loved ones in their care. I could not ever ask for a better place for my grandmother.

My Father was a resident at kindred he really loved being there the staff treated him like family. He was taken care of extremely well at Kindred. Therapy was wonderful with him after having a stroke he was able to walk again and feed himself. We moved him closer to home and I wished we had keep him at Kindred the care he received was not as good as what he had at Kindred. He has been gone now for three years. My Mother now has Alzheimer's and We made the choice to bring her to Kindred. Again I am happy with the choice we have made to keep her at Kindred. I know she will be taken care of the way My father was. I can lay my head down at night knowing she is taken care of the way she needs to be. Thank you Kindred for helping me and my Family with that assurance.
Pleasantly Surprised

I had my aunt in this facility recently and was a little worried about placing her there after reading some of the reviews. My aunt didn't have many choices in Greenfield so we went to Kindred. I am so happy with how things turned out. My Aunt is now at home and doing great. We had a great experience from her admission to her return home. The therapy was great and she was able to get back home sooner than we expected. The nursing staff treated her like family. They took good care of my Aunt and I would happily take her back. to that wonderful facility.

Putting my mother in a healthcare facility was one of the hardest decisions of our lives and the staff at this facility have gone above and beyond the call of duty to care for her. They are so caring and treat her like she was their mother! They have been so helpful in providing us with the correct treatment for her. Thank you so much for always taking such loving care of her.

My mother-in-law is in Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Greenfield. We don't like that place. Honestly, she is not ready to go home, but we are picking her up tomorrow. We were told that if something happens and she needs to come back, she won't be able to come back until she pays her current bill and an extra thirty days of service. I think that's poor, poor service. To me, the health is more important than the cash. These people will be on you until you give them the money. There was one time my husband and I went up there and we stood at the nurses' station for probably five or ten minutes before we were even acknowledged. I just don't like it. There is no communication. My mother-in-law is unhappy with the food. She has done nothing, but complained about the food there, I guess because their food is limited.

Everyone at this facility has been a blessing to our family. The administrator, admissions, program director for reflections have been honest and caring. The loving nature of the nurses, aids, and activity people are very much like a family. Amazing what the rehabilitation did for my mom. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate each and every one of these amazing people.

My mother lives there and we love the place. We have been to other nursing homes and did not have good experiences. The staff is caring, the grounds and building are nice and clean. I would encouarge anyone looking or a good nursing home to go to Kindred. They really go the extra mile to make you feel at home and welcomed. -

My mother was just discharged from their short term rehab and she has been there other times for therapy as well. We have always been very happy with her care there. The building is very nice, the rooms are great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the therapy is effective. They treat my mom like family and that gives me piece of mind. Seeing the negative comment above seems more like a disgruntled employee than someone who really had a loved one there. The girls know their stuff and are always willing to go the extra mile. From start to finish, it is a good experience.

During my dad's stay at Kindred, there were numerous occasions where his needs weren't being met. Most of the people at Kindred were nice, but they had no clue what they were doing. The physical therapy my dad was supposed to receive ended up not being anywhere close to what they said. When my dad arrived at Kindred, he was alert and responsive, but after a month of being there, he was lethargic and only wanted to sleep. During his stay there, he'd gotten a few UTI's. Kindred refused to take my dad to the hospital, my mom had to overrule them. Later that week, I believe two of their patients they provided care for died. Kindred is a horrible place for anybody to be in, the nurses that are there, should not be, and there really should be some new management. The facility's not the cleanliest, and the rooms barely have air conditioning. The rooms are uncomfortably hot, and it's just a bad facility to go to.

As a pastor, I have had the opportunity to visit a number of nursing homes and assisted living facilities and this one seems rather average for a small town nursing home. I have been particularly impressed with the level of caring exhibited by the staff toward the patients. Last year, my parishioner (the patient) lost her son and the nursing staff went out of their way to provide comfort and care. On the "con" side, the building itself is beginning to show its age and therefore makes a less-than-stellar first impression. Overall, this is a facility that I would be comfortable putting one of my parents in this facility, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
