My dad went into Asbury towers earlier this year. Overall, the care at Asbury has been very good, the nurses attentive, and the food is excellent. The only concern I have is with the business management of Asbury. The business manager really does not seem to know what is going on, and may not really even be qualified to be handling the residents' accounts. Granted, most of the residents are on Medicaid, but some (like my dad) are not. Unless the cost is too great, the business manager should have access to electronic fund withdrawals from the residents' banks, as necessary. Otherwise, Asbury is a very good place for someone needing assisted living.

My Father in law lives here. He enjoys the activities and social events. Staff are caring and kind. I would give a higher rating if it was easier to pay for his portion of care. They expect checks in the mail. I wish they had an online payment system so I could pay on time without having to come in since I don't feel comfortable sending large live checks in the mail. I am sure that I am not the only person who feels that way since many caregivers have jobs and other responsibilities. It would make it so much easier for us loving from afar.

We had an appointment with Asbury Towers, but no one was at the front desk. The staff who gave the presentation did not do a good job. It was an old building and not kept up well, but the rooms were OK.

My mom is in a secured memory care unit in Asbury Towers, and they bring the food up to them. The rooms are very nice and very suitable. It's not the easiest to navigate in because it's a 3-floor building, and the parking around it is kind of a pain, but as far as the room itself, it's fine. They treat my mom very well, and they're very attentive. They do her laundry, administer her medications, give her a shower twice a week, and clean her room every day. They have activities and devotions after breakfast sometimes and activities for them after lunch and in the afternoon. They try to keep them busy. The residents outside of the secured unit go around on their own on their wheelchairs, and they don't seem to have a problem. It's just not convenient to get in there. Mom is on the second floor, and it's sometimes hard to get up to the front to bring her out to where she doesn't have to walk very far because she uses a walker. Getting in and out is just not that convenient for the ones who have problems with ambulation.

I guess we’re completely satisfied with the care that my mom is receiving at Asbury Towers. Overall, for a senior living area, it takes care of all her needs, and suits our purpose fine. They’ve got a couple different dining areas, and they have dining options. Basically, she had an aunt who stayed there before, and we were very satisfied with her care. They do have activities. They have people coming in for entertainment, movies, and things like that.

We placed my father-in-law at Asbury Towers. We liked it because it was close to his own home. They offered therapy, and they also have a memory care facility. Their activities include taking them to places, and they go on walks as well. They also have church services. There are different things going on there all the time. They have music, arts, and crafts that they can do. They also take them to their doctor's appointments. We feel very confident that he is there. We can also come and go as we pleased.

My grandmother lived in the Assisted Living Community at Asbury Towers in Greencastle, In., while recovering from a hip fracture. The facility is beautiful, the nurses are amazing, and they even have an Aviary with lots of colorful birds for the residents! The food was amazing, I ate with my grandmother a few times while visiting, and I wanted to stay! The nurses were very attentive, and developed relationships with the residents, which was nice. My Grandmother talked a lot about the nurse who would bring her new baby granddaughter to visit the residents. The care she got at Asbury was excellent, and I would definitely recommend checking into Asbury if you have a relative in need of care in the Greencastle area.
