My sister has moved into Heritage Park. I like the setting with the trails and the availability of the cafeteria and just the apartment itself was nice with the garage. The staff was very hospitable. I like the staff real well. From what I've seen so far, it's very clean and well taken care of.

We went to Heritage Park. The staff was very helpful. There weren't any openings at the time, but he showed us the things that he could show us. He just didn't have any rooms that we could tour. We were able to go into the dining area and the activity room and that was about it. They have all three levels. They have independent living and they have assisted living and then they have the nursing home area, too. It was clean. The people were friendly. The gentleman in charge was very informative. We would go back and check into it again. The dining area was clean. The people seemed to be enjoying their meal. I didn't taste the food though. I had no problems with anything and I didn't see anything that I would lower any stars on.

I went to Heritage Park. They were doing some construction work around the outside or upkeep. The appearance on the outside was okay. It's an older facility. There was a very strong odor of urine in there. It just didn't seem to be as clean as I would have liked. The rooms were small and old. I saw some sitting areas. I saw the dining areas which were okay, but all in all, I was not impressed with it. The lady who gave me the tour was very helpful, though.

My husband was admitted after a fall, for Rehab. When he was admitted I asked if the Facility had any Corid19 , which I did expect that they had a few. I was told they had none. They had up to 50 cases at the time. Even though he tested negative two days before. He has put on quarantine for 14 days. His rehab was standing in his room counting to 200, and walking from the bed to the door a few times. When his 14 days were up, he was again put in quarantine, being told an employee that hadn't been to work in 10 day tested positive. He was only able to leave his room 5 days in the month he was there. Never going to Rehab and for almost 2 weeks the Rehab team was not even on staff. He was given meals that had foods he did not like and when he told them his whole try was taken out and an hour later he would be given a small sandwich, with no vegetables, fruit or anything to drink. We were very disappointed with everything. He was not treated the way he should have been

I liked Heritage Park Fort. It was almost like living in a house with all the amenities you could ask for. It was a great place to live. They had nice-sized, clean, and well-maintained rooms. They had activities and games to occupy your time. The person who toured me was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. It's in a good location and close to shopping.

I did receive excellent care during my stay there, however, there was an incident which said to me they prefer that the residents suffer. Heritage Park has a jukebox that has a lot of modern music, of which a few complained to me. I spoke to the one who said she was "in charge" of the jukebox who told me the jukebox is for the residents because this is their home. I was being discharged soon and I told her I want to donate records more era appropriate; she supported the idea. After a year and a half, I collected about 95 records, and I called to say I'm ready to make the switch, after 14 years listening to the same records over and over again, they're going to love the music I put in. Because the jukebox has been there 14 years, the keys were lost and they'd have to call a locksmith to open it, and for that she'll speak to her supervisor. Supervisor said NO. I told her, "the residents have been listening to THIS modern stuff over and over for 14 years! I have Bing, Andrews Sisters, Big band, Nat king Cole, Johnny Mathis, Sinatra, music THESE residents would enjoy listening to!" Supervisor said, "the jukebox is fine just the way it is." I said, "if it's the cost of the locksmith, I'll pay for the locksmith, " she again said no. The residents suffered listening to the same songs over and over, songs they don't know, they'll suffer some more. And then, when I stayed at the Garden Homes, the kitchen screwed up my meals, maintenance started jobs they never finished, you'll see spiders and ants. I would skip this one.

Heritage Park has been very nice; they have been very helpful. The rooms were nice, and they have been remodeled. My mother will be moving tomorrow, and I know they do have activities; they have given a list. We met the nursing director and the person that runs the facility. We haven’t really met the aides yet. They have been very nice and very helpful. All the apartments have been updated and remodeled, and it seems like it is very adamant about people getting to their dinner and getting their meals and getting involved in things.

My grandmother is at Heritage Park. I like them. The communication is good. However, she is just not happy with her room. It is a private room, but she shares a bathroom. She is fine with their food, though.
