If you are looking for Peace, Dignity and Safety for your loved one, look no further than Story Point Senior Living. After a horrific fall and a broken arm, my sister Lee and I started to think about helping our Mom find a smaller place to live. We promised our Dad that we would always take care of her. This was probably the most difficult decision she has ever made, having to sell her home. But she also knew it was time to downsize to an alternative, safe environment. All employees here at Story Point are familiar, caring and loving with the residents and their families. They refer to mom by her name as well as those who visit They help their residents in any way possible and have made the transition for our mom significantly easier. We trust the staff at Story Point. Mom needed less responsibility, interaction with others and healing. She needed a renewed sense of purpose and a safe place to call home.On site physical therapy was the key to her recovery and we were pleased she has since made significant progress We could not recommend story point more for you and your family.

Beautiful facility, unlike anything I've experienced before. If you're looking for a community for yourself or a loved one, you need to look no further. The staff have thought of everything, including an area dedicated to honoring the resident veterans. Take a moment to experience all they have to offer. You won't be disappointed.

I visited this communty a few months ago. I was very impressed with the environment. The place was bright, clean, and very welcoming. I was able to eat lunch in the cafeteria. The quality of the food really impressed me. I had my mother in a couple other communities in Fort Wayne, and the food and menu were very subpar compared to this community. While I was dining, several different residents came up to my table. They commented on different aspects of why they were very happy with the management, their apartments, the activities provided, and the many food choices. They recommended this place for anyone.

My tour at StoryPoint Fort Wayne North was very good and very thorough. It was an excellent place. The staff who gave me the tour was very good. The rooms were very nice. We had lunch there and it was very good. The dining area was excellent. When we were there it was cold. So, we didn't go outside, but the grounds looked good.

Seems to have constant turnover in kitchen/dining staff. I’m told that most, but not all meals are very good. I do not live there. It’s a bit pricey and there are a number of open apartments. My mother loves her 2 bedroom apartment. Very close to a major hospital

My Grandmother's best friend lives at this community. She invited us in for dinner one night. I was so amazed that a place like this even existed. The property is beautiful and just so clean. Not to mention they have a restaurant in the community. We came in for dinner and the dinning room is absolutely gorgeous, with white table cloths, and beautifully folded napkins that really give the dinning room an upscale feel. The service team was phenomenal. They were so professional and polite. On top of that, the Food we ordered was amazing, and the presentation was gorgeous. The residents at this community really have it made. When my time comes, and I'm ready to retire, I can only hope to be part of a community like this one.

My mom's friend lives at StoryPoint Fort Wayne North, and she absolutely loves it! I attended an event about a month ago, and it was amazing! Live music, and fantastic food, it was like a cruise ship setting. The whole building is so beautiful, her apartment is so tidy and clean. I wish that I could live here, and can't wait until I can! I you have someone that you think may be interested in senior living, definitely check out StoryPoint!

My daughter checked out quite a few places around, and StoryPoint Fort Wayne North was the one that she thought would fit us the best, which it does. The staff are all friendly, they smile, and they help you out whenever they can. They provide dinner and it's excellent. They have a lot of activities. They have lots of different rooms to look around and congregate in. They have a cafe, a bistro, and then a dining room. They have smaller game rooms, and they offer a shuttle service. It's one of the higher-priced places, but I think I'm getting my money's worth. They have a salon and an exercise room, and they offer exercise classes and physical therapy.

Storypoint is NOT a retirement community. It's more like a beautiful apartment complex where everyone eats dinner together! No matter what time of day you visit, there are people in the lobby engaged in conversation, reading the paper, or playing games. There are numerous activities in which you can participate each month and the staff goes out of their way to think of fun events and special occasions to celebrate. The apartments are spacious and lovely, the food is on par with many restaurants, but the staff is what sets Storypoint apart from other communities. From the director on down, employees know the residents. Not just their names, but their families, their interests, things that bring them joy. Our personal experience with Storypoint has been wonderful! Our loved ones have felt cared for and treated with all the kindness and love we could have hoped for!

My mother moved to Story Point about a year ago. She loved her Independent Living apartment and enjoyed meeting many new people. When it was time to move to Enhanced Living due to some health issues, the staff was wonderful and very supportive. The transition was easy and with minimal disruptions. The same staff, mealtimes and activities meant that Mom was able to adjust quickly to her new apartment. It is such a gift for my mom to stay in the community she knows, but get the extra help and care she now needs.

This place has been more than a home to my parents. The staff has provided support and spent time with our family as we look towards the future and changing health circumstances. I am very grateful to the staff for their warm-hearted treatment of the residents.

StoryPoint Fort Wayne North has a friendly environment for the residents. They have a great staff who do their best to see that the residents are enjoying their surroundings. There are plenty of activities and outings for the residents, and there is a bus available to take residents to appointments, shopping, and outings. There are three areas for the residents to eat their meals (the dining room looks like a five-star restaurant). The apartments are lovely and very inviting.

We started searching for a new home for my widowed mother-in- law. After touring several independent and assisted living facilities we were most impressed with Story Point. The facility is beautiful with several different apartment sizes. There is a large variety of daily activities, but most important was the professional and caring staff. My mother-in-law has been very happy at Story Point.

I visited StoryPoint Fort Wayne North. The tour experience was very positive. I just thought, for us, it was too expensive. The layout of the place was very nice. The upkeep and cleanliness are first class and first rate. Their staff is first class, too. I tried the food; it was wonderful.

Everyone was very friendly in StoryPoint Fort Wayne North. It was clean. The apartments were adequate, if not large. It has everything all in one spot, which is what we liked about it the most. Everything is there. Everything that mom will need. The food menu was excellent. It's not institutionalized food. It's cooked daily. They make everything fresh right there. The food is just wonderful. We did not try the food, but we did talk to some of the residents that gave it five stars. The dining area was very clean. The tables were set like a five star restaurant. It was just amazing, very spacious, and clean. I felt like I was in a restaurant, not in an assisted living home. The kitchen was set up very nice with a lot of amenities that you would have at home, and the cupboards had dividers and such. The bathroom has all the safety features with the pull cord and the railings. The shower was equipped with the same things. The bedroom was large enough for a queen sized bed. The closet had extra lighting in it. There was a nice sized living room for a one-bedroom apartment. The two-bedroom had a bathroom in each bedroom with the pull cords and the railings. It also had a stackable washer and dryer in the apartment. The one-bedrooms have access to washers and dryers on the floor that they're on. They don't pay for those. They do have to bring their own detergent and fabric softener, but the washers and dryers are free for them to use. It looked very well kept. Everything looked brand new. The staff was very friendly and very welcoming.

The entire staff displays a caring attitude. They have good communication and repour with the residents and with family members. Quick to respond to needs and solve small needs before they get large. Our 94 year old father stays active and enjoys his life at Story Point.

My mom moved from Florida to Fort Wayne after the passing of her husband, George. She wanted to be closer to family but had lived in the Mid-West most of her life. Before she selected StoryPoint my sister, Michelle and I, had the opportunity to talk with several residents to ask about their experiences living at StoryPoint. We spent time on the phone with each resident and had awesome feedback. All of the residents we spoke to absolutely love the StoryPoint community. Some of the comments shared were they made friends easily, love the entire staff, love the meals (quite a variety) and feel very safe in the environment. They said there are always many activities to choose from or one can just take the day/night off and relax in the comfort of their own apartment. The rooms are spacious with a variety of different layouts to choose from. I’d like to mention how personable and accommodative the administrative staff has been from day one. Every time we go into StoryPoint we are greeted with a smile. Again, great positive environment throughout and if your loved ones are looking for a place that feels like home StoryPoint is definitely the place to be.

Every staff member I have met has been so wonderful and welcoming and willing to help out. We moved my grandma in to her apartment in December and she is loving it. She loves not cooking and making friends with people her age. Best decision we ever made.

StoryPoint Fort Wayne is very nice, but their price point was too high. They were just too expensive for me. It was a gorgeous place, I would have loved to live there, I just couldn't afford it.

My mom has lived here for a year and we are so happy with her experience here. The decor of the facility is really beautiful and uplifting and her apartment is new and wonderful, too. The staff are so caring and go out of their way to handle every need. Mom wanted double hang shelves in the closets and they were provided. She wanted a ceiling fan in her bedroom and they installed the one we provided. The food is delicious and it’s fun that there are dining options. In addition, Mom enjoys playing cards every day with friends that she’s made. We are happy she’s there and that she’s enjoying life.

The facility was brand new...extremely clean. We picked SP for the location and they were the only ones in Ft Wayne that had the staff and facilities to handle my father who was in pretty poor shape on arrival. SP not only had the horse power to handle him but did it in a way that made it all easy. Very professional staff that totally went out of their way to accommodate us. The chef even gets an A+.

Ask any question you have concerning any situation. All were answered or referred to Jill the admin. My mom had specific concerns and to this day if she causally mentions a concern I call and talk with Jill and find a solution. Her room is perfect for her because she likes to watch the activity of people coming and going so she is at the front of the building. Mom likes the layout of her room and how the maintenance man has helped her hang or adjust her decor. The front lady at the desk is one of moms favorite staff personnel because she talks to her daily and she is delightful. Also there is a younger staff member who helps my mom figure out her phone when she doesn’t know how to do something on it! My mom loves to play card games or games so she is always looking for others players. I do believe her favorite activity is eating supper in the dining room and making connections. Plus she enjoys the food. If she doesn’t she makes notes to the chef on her order and he talks with her on her needs. She likes the hair designer and just got a nice perm recently. The van is a valuable asset too because she still likes to be independent and get a few groceries and such. Also it takes her to doctor appointments. The activities have been different with the challenges of the world but StoryPoint did several creative revisions to help mom cope as well as the other guests. I love the beauty and newness of StoryPoint plus it feels warm and roomy! I enjoy the staff and their helpfulness. A very lovely place to connect and meet new neighbors and enjoy life.

The apartments are comfortable and well-maintained. The staff really sets this facility apart, however. EVERYONE is friendly and helpful and caring. The activities during non-pandemic times are amazing! Even now, though, there is plenty to do in a socially distant way... from exercise classes, to concerts, to outdoor socializing. Storypoint even has a bus/van that can transport people who no longer drive. I can't say enough about the staff though. When mom fell, the first person on the scene happened to be a chef! After dad pushed the call button, the whole staff was alerted and whoever was closest rushed in to help. Having home health care available and physical therapy on site has allowed Mom to remain in her home and get the assistance she needs! If you are even thinking about joining a community like this... please visit! You won't regret it!

My parents have a 2 bdrm unit that seems to fulfill their living needs. They have freedom to come and go while living in a very secure environment. The staff know everyone’s name and genuinely care for the them. My mother is receiving assistance from the on sight caregivers whom I greatly appreciate! Activities, food and personal care can’t be beat!! There is always something going on to keep our parents active and socially connected. That is extremely important for my mother.

From the first phone call to Story Point we knew it was a special place. Jane their representative took a lot of time with us and made my Mom feel wanted and special. She answered all of our questions, took us on a virtual tour and allowed my Mom to talk to some of the residents. When we visited in person I couldn’t believe how warm and friendly the staff is. They knew everyone by name and took time to talk to them. The apartment is spacious and the perfect size. My Mom raves about the food. We have eaten there and The food is wonderful. We love how the Chef and staff also know the residents and get involved in the activities. There is always something going on and the residents seem to love being there. My Mom is very happy and enjoying herself. We are so grateful for all the caring and wonderful staff.

I have a relative at StoryPoint! They absolutely love living there. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, I haven't been able to visit recently but I'm excited to visit again. Their apartment is very spacious and has updated features. We have eaten many meals there with them and the food was absolutely delicious. Gordon Ramsey who??? The quality of the quesadillas are ASTRONOMICAL. They seem to provide a lot of fun activities for the residents as well! I highly recommend StoryPoint to anyone looking for a lovely and well-run living facility.

I am a friend of one of the residents at StoryPoint Fort Wayne. I greatly miss the days before Covid 19 when I was able to visit the facility more freely. The staff members are extremely caring and make you feel right at home. My friend also raves about the food! I have been immensely impressed by every aspect of StoryPoint.

StoryPoint is exactly what my parents were looking for, a beautiful facility with numerous activities in a location closer to children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The two bedroom independent apartment meets their needs with a wonderful view of the courtyard. The SP Facility staff and Healthcare staff have been more than helpful and caring for Mom and Dad. My brothers, sister and I all know the staff by their first names and are greeted whenever we come to visit. Mom enjoys the Book Club and participates in the support group discussions for caregivers. The location to the Parkview Medical Center has been a blessing, making visits to doctors much more convenient. We moved our Mom and Dad from the Chicago area to be closer to family and overall StoryPoint has met our expectations.

This is a great retirement community. After living alone for 4 years after Mom’s passing, Dad was ready for a change. He’s very active and enjoys being engaged and busy. StoryPoint has helped fill his days with a variety of meaningful activities. I love how busy he is and he no longer has any home ownership worries. Change is never easy, but it’s been a very positive experience overall.

My mom has been a resident since this past February and the change in her is immense. She was living alone the past five years and really became so lonely. She now has friends, never has to eat alone and there are always activities to do. We couldn’t be happier for her.
