My aunt was at Greek American Rehab Care Center. She was there for two weeks. She was in hospice care. They were excellent. The facility's cleanliness was very good. They did not provide a television, so you had to bring your own television. Other than that, the common area was nice. Probably 10 to 15 people can fit in there. With regards to food, my aunt was kind of picky about what she liked and disliked, but to me, the food looked like a typical hospital.

We visited a place called Greek American; it was a gorgeous place, but we couldn't afford it. It was probably the most beautiful facility I have ever seen. Their secured unit, you have to have a code to get in the elevator and go up there. But you walk in there, and you don't even see a nurse's desk. It is kind of hidden behind some walls or something. What they have upfront looks like a porch with rocking chairs, so the residents can sit on the porch and rock. They had several dining areas that were very home-looking. Really, it was a gorgeous, elegant place, and even though it was more expensive than I could afford, it actually was less expensive than those other places, which I don't think were any nicer than where my husband is at now.

My mother is not in yet but we have decided on Greek American Rehab and Care Center. I found this place and visited it and then I went online to check their rating. My visit there was a very good experience. Every one of their staff was very nice and very friendly. They're very nice to work with and cooperative. Their rooms were fine. I would recommend this place.

Greek American Rehab is a wonderful facility that provides excellent senior care with a team of specialist that really care for the welfare and health of its residents. My father enjoyed regular senior activities. The dietician staff monitored his diet to make adjustments there were geared towards his needs. The facility regularly worked with us to facilitate his care to accommodate his deteriorating condition. Greek American Rehabs care of my father until his death was beyond our familys expectations. The cleanliness of the facility and the loving care of my father will always be remembered.
