I am a former resident of the facility. The apartments are nice. They range from a studio up to a two bedroom. I started in a 1 bedroom, but, later downsized to a studio. When I lived there, I got along with the staff. They were very friendly. There are many options for group activities. My favorite one was Men's Night out. We would go out to eat at local restaurants or go to a comedy club. I loved the indoor gym. There is a small store there where you can buy anything from a stamp to toilet paper. The food was average. The biggest plus was that you could have something from the daily rotating menu or something from the set menu. We were given REAL menus to choose from. Onsite laundry facilities where you could do your own, or, have it done for you. Nice library onsite with a gas fireplace. It's easy to make friends there. There is a indoor theatre. When I was there, they had "Movie Night" where residents shared movies from their collection. You can do as much or as little as you want to do. There's always something going on. There is a computer room that is always open. You might find somebody else in there at 3:00am. Love ice cream? Culver's is a short walk from home. There are many Church options nearby.

I had a friend living here. It seemed like an ok facility. She said the staff was rude, especially the CNAs. The head manager, I think her name is Sue is a tyrant. My friend's meds were messed up by a nurse. One night my friend needed help and the 2 CNAs were sleeping. She moved to a safer place.

The nurse who claims to be the director was extremely rude (Shelly). I had concern about my mother health but was totally disregarded. If she doesn't like her job why is she there. I plan to take my mother out ASAP. The staff even compliant about the director but obviously the clients are just cash cows. But my mother won't be in that herd.

I HAVE LIVED HERE AT EDEN FOX VALLEY FOR 6 MONTHS AND IT'S BEEN A LIVING HELL!!!!! RIGHT OF THE BAT I HAD A MEDICATION ERROR THAT SENT ME TO THE HOSPITAL THAT WAS THEIR FAULT. THEN JUST WEEKS LATER THE EXACT SAME MEDICATION ERROR HAPPENED AGAIN SAME MEDICATION SENT ME TO THE HOSPITAL A SCOND TIME!!! THE HEAD NURSE SHERRY WAS VERY UNCOOPERATIVE TO WORK WITH A SHE HAD TO BE REPORTED TO THE STATE OF ILLINOIS WHO WAS VERY FAMILIAR WITH HER ALREADY. THEN TO TOP THINGS OFF THERE IS AN ONGOING BED BUG INFESTATION IN MANY OF THE ROOMS HERE. I WAS FORCED TO SLEEP AND LIVE WITH THESE BUGS FOR 9 WEEKS AFTER COMPLAINTS WERE MADE OVER AND OVER TO THE MANAGEMENT OF THE SEVERITY OF THE PROBLEM. ALL COMPLAINTS FELL ON DEAF EARS AS THEY JUST KEPT COVERING UP THE PROBLEM AS THE BUGS TOOK OVER AND MY BODY SWELED UP FROM THE BITES!!!! GROSS NEGLAGENCE AND COMPLETE DISRESPECT OF THEIR RESIDENTS!!!!!! THEY NEVER CALLED EXTERMINATORS UNTIL THE STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED IN TO DO A HUGE INVESTAGATION ON THE MATER AND FORCE THEM TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!! DO NOT MOVE YOUR LOVED ONES IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE IF YOU LOVE THEM!!! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLY MISMANAGED THEY NEGLECT THE RESIDENTS AMD DON'T CARE ANYTHING ABOUT THEM!!!! YOU WILL HAVE TO NOTIFY ALL THE STATE AGENCIES TO GET ANY PROBLEM TAKEN CARE OF HERE BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO COOPERATE WITH THERE RESIDENTS!!!!!!!!!!!

The food is unbearable from what I saw my friend eating. THey take their food stamps automatically and then give you food that you cannot even eat. The staff does not do anything to help the people there when they need something. Very rude staff. The owner probably has not clue. They won't help the residents if they need something fixed in their apartments. Someone needs to check this out.

I toured about a week ago for my brother. April the MD was very sweet. She took her time and answered questions we had. Very pleasant and patient with us. The building was clean and residents were nice and said hello in passing. Some residents said they enjoyed living at Eden. I was very pleased with our experience there. Great job to all staff!

I'm in Eden Supportive Living, and it's nice. It's an old building, we have two nurses, and a lot of CNAs. The food is about average. They have shopping trips to various stores, craft projects, and they take people to movies every once in a while.

Eden Supportive Living wasn't so clean, and the rooms were not too spacious. The staff did seem friendly. The residents looked a little bored.

This is a supportive living facility for non-geriatric physcially disabled persons. It is one of only a few options for this population that accepts both private-pay and Illinois Medicaid. It is set right off the tollway and main road at the far edge of a business district. It is a safe neighborhood that backs up to the well-known Fox River multi-use paved trail and forested area along the trail. The facility provides an above-average amount of outdoor space for residents including a large patio, walking paths, a garden, and a greenhouse. However, restaurants, stores, or businesses are not particularly close by and not in walking distance. The building underwent an total renovation recently and is nicely appointed with modern materials and fixtures. There are plenty of common areas that allow for family visits, resident use, and relaxation including a gym, exercise room, computer room, and numerous sitting areas. The apartments are not spacious but are comfortable and allow for multiple items of personal furniture to be brought in. Apartments are either private studios, which is the majority, or larger units with one bedroom. The food is prepared on-site and is above average in quality and tastefulness. The staffing is adequate to meet client needs though with notable turn-over of direct care staff. Typically the staff is kind, polite, courteous and professional.
