My uncle is in Generations at Regency for short-term rehab. He had a stroke, so they are helping him rehab his right side. They have physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The staff is exceptional. His room is roomy and very clean. They keep the facility clean. Everybody is very nice and helpful. Anything that we need, is taken care of. He does not like the food though. We like this place. I would recommend them.

Regency Rehabilitation Center was a very nice and modern facility. It looked good and the tour went well. I liked that the residents with dementia and Alzheimer's were in a separate secured area for their own safety. The downside was the size because it had over 300 beds and that was too overwhelming for what I wanted. It was the farthest away too.

I think this is a good nursing home where residents receive above average care. You might not think this is the greatest place from the outside. It is a five story building that looks stodgy and institutional. But once inside I saw some happy residents. The facility is very clean. I didn't smell any bad odors on the floors. The CNAs are most impressive. The few who I spoke to seemed to know and care about the patients. One family member volunteered to tell me of the great care her brother was getting -- that he was kept clean and dry. More than a couple of residents told me that the food was "pretty good." A couple of years ago I believe the inside got a facelift and there is now an ice cream parlor that served, get this, free ice cream. There is also a candy store whose prices can't be beat. The most important thing of course is the staff and I think they are most impressive. There is also plenty of parking.
