From the day I met Christi, Kim and the Director, Christine I knew this was a great place for my mom. Cary, the memory care Director, along with her incredible staff welcomed my mom and our family with the best care! Starting with the front desk personnel, it’s always a great experience when we come to visit. All employees go above and beyond. I highly recommend this facility.

I had an in-person tour of Arbor Terrace Naperville. The facility was lovely. Their physical therapy room was a little small and crowded. They have physical therapists on staff. Their activities looked great. It's a two-story building. The people there looked happy. The facility was very clean and fresh. They had some nice people who let me look at their rooms, and they seemed very happy. They had a great activities director. I was impressed with the staff. The woman who was in charge of sales and marketing was amazing and gave me great suggestions. She was very knowledgeable and super helpful. The meals looked good.

My mom was at Arbor Terrace Naperville. She had been there for at least two years. For the most part, the overall experience was good. The staff was very nice. However, the food was not great. There really wasn't any individualizing for her diabetes. The reasoning we got was as they're in assisted living, they're able to pick off their own menu and they should know what they can eat and can't eat, but they didn't have a diabetic menu. They would bring a snack cart around every night and of course, if you offer it to my mom, she's going to take it. We were like, 'Can you please not stop by her room with the snack cart?' and they would say, 'Well, no, we can't do that.' So those kinds of things were issues. This was during the pandemic, so it might be a little jaded, too. They had a lot of agency people and a lot of turnovers of staff. There wasn't like a great continuity of care because the same people weren't there all the time. Some of the administrative people were a little passive-aggressive. They would say that they were doing things, but then, on the other hand, nothing would really get done, so there was that, too. We were tired of dealing with the administration really from there. If my mom's condition got worse, they weren't able to really accommodate her additional needs very well because they were short-staffed and they had a tier type of services, which most of them do. My mom has problems with incontinence, and we asked that she be assisted with a shower twice a week instead of once a week. She didn't need more assistance, she just needed it one additional day, but then that put her into the next tier bracket. So for her to get another shower a week, it was going to cost an extra $400. I understand they have to make money, but that seemed a little excessive. And if she was unable to go to the dining room for her meal or if she chose not to, it was $10 a tray, so sometimes it was an extra $30 charge to bring her meals if she didn't feel well enough to go downstairs. Every place else that we toured was like, 'Yeah we do that, but if the client isn't feeling well, no, we don't charge for that,' or one place was like $3 and one place was like $7. They had some amenities. They had some activities. They had a driver that can take clients to their doctor's office and drop them off and pick them up, but it's only two days a week, so that's not helpful if your appointments are not on a Tuesday or Friday. However, the place is like the Taj Mahal. This place is gorgeous. That part is very good. They have their own little movie theater where they would show movies. They had bingo of course. They had a little shop upstairs. They had a salon and an exercise room. If they wanted to individually, they could set up card games or board games with other people and things like that. They had outings, too. Some activities were hard for my mom to participate in because it is hard for her to climb into the bus or the van and things like that. There were a fair number of activities. The things that she did participate in, she liked. She always played bingo and things like that.

My mom came here in August of 2018. She was 94 at that time. We were skeptical to put her in senior care, and reluctantly did so. What has transpired has been nothing short of a miracle! Her care EXCEEDS all expectations!! She is so well cared for, always clean, well fed, and kept very busy! Her caretakers treat her like their own mother. They are knowledgeable and creative, extremely hardworking, and so personable. This facility is solidly managed at every level. Each department is one step ahead, and we have never had a complaint!! I have to mention the incredible nursing staff. Mom's care during the pandemic was unbeatable, and our family was kept informed during the entire year. The beautiful grounds and indoor social areas are impeccable, inviting residents and family to congregate. If you are seeking senior care, look no further! Your every need will be met at the door. Arbor Terrace has become our family!!

I have lived here at Arbor Terrace for 2 and a half years, and I have not been unhappy for a second since I moved here. (Minus the time we had to quarantine, but that wasn't their fault!) When I came in to tour with my son, the first thing I noticed when I walked into the lobby was how clean and new looking the community was. My name was on a sign at the front desk and Alex stood up and shook my hand and greeted me like an old friend. I was living in a townhome by myself before this and my number one priority was to feel safe. Since I moved in I have never felt neglected or unsafe; everything is very comfortable. I met with Jocelyn and Denise for my tour. Jocelyn was very warm and showed me an apartment with a beautiful view, saying if you like it it's yours. I was impressed with the activities and entertainment the facility offered, especially the outside entertainers. I remember Denise asked what kind of flowers I liked on my tour. I love sunflowers, and the day I moved in there was a nice sunflower plant in my apartment! Staff go the extra mile to put these kind touches on. I have made wonderful friends here, and I am very happy.

We moved our 95-year old Mom to Arbor Terrace (Assisted Living) last spring, after being very unhappy with her previous Assisted Living Facility. What a difference this has made for her and for us. It's a beautiful, comfortable, and very clean facility. The team is highly professional and engaged with their residents and families. Our Mom needs assistance with some daily living tasks, and the nursing and care team have been terrific (especially Ahaliya who has a remarkable way with our Mom!). They really know and understand her needs, and treat her with patience and dignity. The Activities program is very well run, and the highlight of my Mom's day. There are a wide variety of things they do to bring enrichment and joy to their residents' days. The dining room is very nice, and the food is very good, the best she's had compared to the other places she's lived. They are also highly vigilant about Covid protocols, which we greatly appreciate. We are so glad we found AT, and made the decision to move her there after speaking to numerous families we found through acquaintances, all who gave it 5-star reviews. That certainly meant a lot and helped in our decision. This is the 3rd facility our Mom has lived at through the years, and is by far the best.

I am a resident. This place is great because the staff cares. Most people I run into want to be here and like what they do. The food is good, the facility is clean. It's close to my family and I love having my cats here with me. My twin sister came from another community to here in the memory care and hasn't fallen or had any problems since.

We moved my mom to Arbor Terrace about 3 months ago. I was having reservations about the memory care unit she was in Romeoville. My mom has been more engaged and alert when we visit since moving to Arbor Terrace. I love the staff and I can not say enough about the staff navigating through covid with caution but also with great common sense! I will be the first to admit, there is NO memory care facility that is 100% perfect for our loved one compared to home. However when caring for my mom became to much for my father, brother and I Arbor Terrace has come as close as possible to having mom cared for and loved at home.

My wife is in Memory care at Arbor Terrace. I must say this is one of the nicest facalities I have visited.. And, I have visited many. The food is good I have had lunch with my wife a few times and it is good. The Bread pudding is the best I ever had.... The facility is clean and Erika is Fantastic. My wife at times is tough to get her to Shower and she needs help.. This is one of the big reasons for me to get her into Arbor Terrace. Futhermore, I have no help from relatives. My Duties were 24/7 . My wife likes her room and she likes the food too. We have gone out and when we return, She is happy to see her name on her room and she just loves to get back into her room after a day out. Arbor terrace has many activites in group ... That is very good for person with Dementia to attend... Always some activity is being held, and caregivers are there to help each person along to participate or just to watch... I must say Erika always greats me if she is available as do all other other CNA's. I see so many smiling faces, The CNA's all of them have been excellent to me and to my wife. Esta too is very good she is awesome , Richard and laticha too. So many CNA's and nurses always around at Arbor Terrace. Now, why not 5 stars... Well, my wife at times as I mentioned earlier does not like to shower. So a few get missed as she complaines about showering or makes up things why she cannot shower.. This is frustrating for me when She was at home and the CNA's get a bit frustrated too. But, their job to get her in the shower..and make sure she is clean. I have seen my wife give them trouble . Erika has a the gife of getting my wife into the shower and so does Esta... Persistance, some persuasion, and enticement. Ice Cream bar after shower helps to get my wife into shower. AArbor Terrace does trim her fingernails, Manicures will be available soon, Hair styling is available, Also, A Geriatric Psychiatrist is there too. I do believe he is top notch Doctor... We have not met yet, But we have chatted on phone about my wife. I totally agree with his assement. Her meds were adjusted and she seems much better. Finally, We are not rich people. Jocelyn told me, I would feel better too when I get a break... Well, that took some time. I must say Jocelyn was correct... We can only stay for a specific period of time. This is all cash outlay for us no insurance coverage for this type of care. My wife,I believe is even doing better there at Arbor Terrace. She gets more interaction with people there , than at home with only me... My wife does get lost, and she has gone for walks at home when I was sleeping.. I had to call police, and or Neighbors spot her and brought her back home.... Futhermore, my home is not Child proof. My wife is my like a child and she will eat most anything... I must have an eye on her at all times. Here at Arbor Terrace she has constant people , Work Shifts, Many CNA's available to watch and care for her... So, I am happy with this facality, just a bit more care of my wifes bathing, and her butt kept clean would make it the best

My wife and I moved our 95 yr old mother into Memory Care (Evergreen) Arbor Terrace Naperville in July 2021. We can walk to it from our home. We have had numerous visits and hence countless interactions with the entire staff/reception, sales, nursing, physician and each and every time we come away feeling so grateful and thrilled our Mom is in their care. They are professional competent, efficient and very communicative only exceeded by their warmth, compassion and kindness. Each member of AT N-ville is so perfectly suited for their position on such a wonderful team. We always say we worry about Moms health but never ever about the care she is getting each and every day at Arbor Terrace.

My mom was previously at Arbor Terrace Naperville, but she didn't like it there. The apartment was large. She was in a two-bedroom because they didn't have any 1-bedrooms open. It was a long walk from the entrance to the building to her apartment, and since she was in the corner of the building, they didn't like to come down there a lot -- although the nurses came. That's when COVID happened, so she was pretty unhappy. The place looks nice. She didn't like the food there, and Arbor Terrace was a lot more expensive than where she is now. I don't think it was worth the money. All we could do was bring things to the front and they would deliver them to her. I don't know if part of it was because it was COVID, but she didn't get to meet very many people at all because they were quarantined in their rooms. We were not even allowed to bring her to the doctor or anything; they took care of everything. They're a newer place. As you walked through the building, the memory care was on the left side of the building and the right side was like the assisted living, and that's where my mom was. As I walked to her apartment from the front to the corner, there was an area that was like a community TV area with couches, a library, and a piano. Upstairs they have an exercise area, but they didn't do much because of COVID. Some staff members were very nice and helpful, but there were some who were not. The first couple of weeks I was able to eat there with my mom, and it seemed OK to me. They were bringing stuff to their rooms, so I don't really know if they were getting the same stuff they would have been getting if the dining room was open. The meals were more like packed lunches.
