Marley Oaks Assisted Living is a very small private facility co-founded by a church group. There are only 12 residents, and it’s like walking into someone’s home. The staff is wonderful, very positive, and treat my dad like family. We’re very satisfied, and that’s why we’re back there.

This is the area's best kept secret! My mother had excellent care. The staff to resident ratio is by far the best that I came across. The food is all homemade, and appealed even to my picky Mother. These were the best years that my mom had. I am so very thankful that I discovered this residence.

This is a private, very small, nice, homey facility. The staff is friendly and everyone knows each other. There is no daily activity program. However there are some nice events that are held from time to time for residents. Family members need to stay closely involved in order to monitor the client's mental and physical health since this is not a medical facility. If your loved one is not interested in a large facility with lots of activity planning and food choices then this might be a good place to consider. The individual rooms (these are not apartments) are simple and clean with attached half bathroom. Volunteers from the nearby church are on the governing board and sometimes volunteer here but this is not run by the church. Our loved one felt content and at home here before she passed away.
