Comfortableness of the villas, responsiveness of staff, interaction with staff and other residents, I found the facility to be very comfortable. I felt like this is where I belonged. It is located in a quite area with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. There is a garage and scenery is plesant,

My cousin will be moving into Eden Village Retirement Center. Square footage-wise, it was the largest in the price range. My cousin can either buy meals individually or switch to the meal plan. She's starting in independent care. If she reaches a point where she needs assisted living, they will provide it to her in her apartment, so she doesn't have to move into the assisted living section. And then there's also a skilled nursing facility on the same campus. They're remodeling her apartment. It's being repainted, getting new flooring, new light fixtures, and new appliances. They have a variety of programs. They provide transportation for seniors if they need to go anywhere. They have a beauty shop and an exercise room in their facility. They have game rooms and a library. My cousin has a full kitchen that includes a stove, a full-sized refrigerator, and a microwave. It's got a nice courtyard view. There's a fountain, some lovely trees, and walking paths.

My sister has been in Eden Village for physical therapy and rehab, and it was not a pleasant experience. We would not consider that for a community that we would send her to. I think the majority of the staff members were OK, there were only a few that were not good, one or two maybe. They released my sister and the physical therapist who came for home health care said that they should not have released her. The physical therapist is trying to get her placed back into a facility. They said that she has no business staying at home. We're going to process things at my house right now, but she's trying to figure out how to get my sister back into a facility. She's working with a doctor. I thought so too, I could not believe that they released her. My sister's room itself was OK. It had a bathroom, but she could not take a shower. She was not able to shower or wash her hair for 15 days, and that was a huge problem for her. The meals were terrible, she did not eat, and she lost like 50 pounds; she is not a picky eater.

My mother has been in Eden Village for seven years now. It's older. She likes it and is in a duplex with lots of room. She can go out the front door or back door. They have a special luncheon activity every Tuesday and a nice area where they have puzzles and activities all the time.

My mom started in Eden Village Assisted Living six years ago. When her health rapidly declined the decision was made to transition her care to the Care Center there. I can honestly say that I love the care she receives at the facility. While I am able (due to locale and work schedule) to visit almost daily, it is not out of concern for her treatment. The nurses (a shout out to Kathleen & Jan) are exceptional and compassionate. It is important to remember to be an advocate for your loved one's care because they are not always able to verbalize their needs themselves. This is a wonderful facility, perhaps not the "fanciest" but most certainly the best where it counts most.

Eden Village is very clean. The staff is exceptionally nice take good care of my dad. I feel my dad is in a really safe and secure environment. He has been there for two months now. Their rooms are like most of the other ones I visited and look like hospital rooms, but you can decorate them how you like and they're always clean. There is a bathroom in all of the rooms. Their dining set up is really nice. My dad may go lay down in his room, but they always make sure he gets up in a wheelchair and help him out to a special table. He doesn’t eat a whole lot, but he says the food tastes very good. They have a lot of activities there, which he sometimes participates in. I don’t have anything negative to say about them. They have taken such wonderful care of my father. I couldn’t be more blessed.

My parents are current residents of Eden Village. The facility is clean. They have independent, assisted and nursing level of care. They have a new wing that they have recently built. It's very nice. The old wing is updated though. My parents' room almost looks brand new. This facility does provide my parents three meals a day. These are included in the base package. However, even though their meals are adequate, they need to do a little better job on the food quality. The staff is very friendly. However, I would say that the maintenance delivery is far too slow. My parents had some minor things that had been wrong in their room and it took too long for them to get it done. Also, the front office in terms of them calling back and responding is slow too. As a whole, the responsiveness from the staff and from the maintenance team needs to improve.

The place is quite clean and friendly. My friends had a great experience. The units (duplexes) stayed clean, and they enjoyed using the exercise room. They also enjoyed their experience with the other residents. One friend volunteered at the reception desk answering calls and directing deliveries. The location also gave them access to many nature trails and the main shopping centers. The layout was gorgeous and the units big and modern. Most importantly, they enjoyed their freedom. Aside from cleaning and services, the staff was friendly and not intrusive, which meant that my friends could live there as if it where their own home. No hassles, no intrusions, just comfortable living. The rent was a bit high, ut with services like that who can complain? Over all, a great experience and highly recommended for those who want a relaxed retirement with great amenities while still retaining the freedom to live life.
