Villas of Holly Brook Collinsville was very new, and a little more higher end than what I expected. I looked at both assisted living and memory care. The one-bedroom and studio-style apartments were very spacious. Then they also had a family room, an activity room, and a little physical fitness room. The memory care side was a little more secure, too.

We found The Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care. It's new. They've never had a COVID case. I think it's about a year old, it's very nice, and it's much more affordable than the older ones. My mom will move in this weekend. They were amazing, really supportive, and they've been great. I liked Beth and Cindy a lot, and I think my mom's going to be happy there. Her room has a bedroom, a living room, a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, a very large bathroom, and a very large walk-in closet. They supply everything, and there are no extra charges, unless she brings her own landline. The chef is from California. The food is supposed to be always fresh and amazing, but I haven't tried it yet, and I will. There are outside activities when COVID is over, and they have things going inside also. They play bingo, and they sit outside in the hallway. They can't gather in a room; they have to sit six feet apart.

We took a tour of The Villas of Holly Brook for my parents. The assistant director took us on a really wonderful tour, and we really loved it, but when my mother walked into a one-bedroom apartment she said, "This is like living in a cage." It was just wonderful, and they had everything there that you could want. It was very modern, and it's less than a year old. The staff member who gave us information was really friendly, caring, and concerned. She wanted to answer every question that we had. Everything looked so brand new. They had dining rooms, a bar area, and outdoor patios. The place had a hair salon, an exercise room, and a place where you could get therapy. They just had just tons of tons of things to offer.
