Warren Barr Lincoln Park seems to be appropriate for my sister at this time. The rooms are small. It is supposed to be for two people. I would like to see it a little more spacious, but that's the way all of them are. The staff seems to be friendly and skilled in what they do. My sister enjoys the services they provide. The place is very clean and well maintained. It is small, but they seem to do well.

The Grove is conveniently located in the generally safe urban setting of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Parking is always a challenge here, but the trade off is access within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Lincoln Park. The Grove offers short term rehab and long term care both of which are generally well regarded within the professional community. With the urban setting comes limited space, so outdoor common areas are minimal and restricted to the front patio area outside the building, which is nicely set up with sitting areas and seasonal plantings. Indoor common areas are always clean and well kept with updated furniture and fixtures, though again space is at a premium so most areas have a designated use. Rooms are of average size with most rooms being shared. Furniture and fixtures are updated and rooms are kept clean and well maintained. There is limited space to bring in personal items. Food is average to above average with mostly good to very good meals. Staff turnover seems to be about average for this type of facility in this area, with some notably longer term direct care staff. It is a smaller facility than some others in the urban setting, which allows staff a better opportunity to get to know the residents. All staff members are typically very kind and compassionate providing appropriate care with a professional yet warm approach.

This facility located on the north side of chicago has beautiful grounds. The staff is very helpful, and the colors are warm. This facility accepts veterans, and all forms of insurances. They do have skilled level of care, and a full clinical team to meet the needs of the residents. There is a transitional program that residents can be a part of if needed to address long-term issues. The facility is rather small in nature a bed hold of (90) which gives it a sense of closeness and family amongst the staff and population being served. There is no on-site dialysis center here the residents are escorted by staff to such appointments, While there I noticed how clean the residents looked, and the nice smell in the building. In general, I would rank this facility a 5 out of 5 stars.

The staff at the Grove are wonderful! My mom stayed there for three months while recovering from a stroke. While she was there she received physical, speech, and occupational therapy. The speech therapist, Joe is amazing. He was so patient with my mom and had a very good understanding of what her needs were. The physical therapists were also great. My mom quickly became friends with them and looked forward to visiting with them every day. The activities they provided the residents were always great! I loved the bingo and the live music performances! Overall, the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your loved one.
