I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband is in Mayfield Care Center nursing home. The place is okay, and the staff is very nice and helpful. He is in a room with somebody and they have a TV. It's just a regular room. They have parties for the residents there. They also have games, and they watch TV. He can't eat because he's on a feeding tube but they do have food.

I think Mayfield Care Center is wonderful. My mother is not experiencing being lonely. I go there at least once every other day, and she's safe. She has a room, a bed, a cabinet where she put her clothes in, and a sink. The only thing they don't have is private bathrooms. She shares a bathroom with one person. It's like in a hotel where there's a door between you and the other hotel room. They have an activity room, and there were two ladies that came to visit and they were reading and discussing scenarios and stuff like that. There are different activities. I'm just as motivated by all the other people there. We played cards there one day. There were different people saying hello, so my mother is not lonely. The staff members are friendly and attentive, and they know her. She is doing fine there. I like the interaction. They love her, and she loves them. Pricing is reasonable. It's a perfect match for my mom.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I am very angry at this so called Care Center. My father was admitted to the place called Mayfield care center. We searched the reviews and they where not good or bad so we took a chance any way the staff told us that they where under new management so we went with it. My father said it was a cold and lonely place . when he first came they treated him like gold after a few days he hardly even seen them. They lied to the family about him not be in his right mind. They lied and said he did not want to get out of bed. My dad said they didnt even check. Food was cold and old. And the office team just do not tell the truth lie and lie just for the money. Please dont bring your love ones to this place that said they care when they really dont.

My Mother and Father are here. They were put in the same room and are doing well. The only complaint I have heard is that my Mother does not like the food. My Father is enjoying himself as he has lots of people to talk with.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother was there. We put her in on Saturday, Feb.12th 2011 .I visited her twice .the last time I saw her alive was Monday, Feb.14 Valentine day by Sunday the 20th she was dead. She had been in a nursing in Cleveland for seven years. but I wanted her close to me in Chicago. If I had it to do all over I surly would have left her at the other home. AH

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My dad was at Mayfield HealthCare and Rehabilitation Centre. The staff's attitude is very poor; that is why I took him out of there. Their CNA's don't care. The food is horrible. Don?t send your people there.
