The Waterford is a clean facility the staff really cared about me while I was there . I had rehabilitation and pain management I recovered there after a hip surgery and I would highly recommend it. The food was surprisingly delicious. ❤️ I love the location up north by the beach. The staff and residents were following strict guidelines due to COVID 19. I felt safe. If you have to go to a nursing home this is a good one.

I lived at the Waterford for 4 years. My experience was very good, and I credit the head Administrator Kathy D. with that. She is a hands on administrator well liked by residents and staff. It makes the smallish environment of the Waterford feel more friendly and caring. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If there are any problems such as conflicts with a roommate, these are speedily addressed and managed. I have always found the staff to be attentive and professional and, most importantly to me, kind. There are scheduled activities daily as well as group outings several times a month. The lake is a block away and it is relaxing to sit there and listen to the water while enjoying the view. There are several small stores nearby where residents can get snacks and such. I made some good friends while I was there. While I am very happy I was able to move on and get my own apartment I can say with honesty that my stay at the Waterford was a good experience.

The constant lack of food (running out of necessary items, eg. milk) lack of knowledge? on how to prepare tasty dishes - (heavily spiced) and food served cold, I had to go to a store to buy my own. The nursing staff can be very rude and and shows no concern for the patient. Information about a patient's care is not passed on from one shift to the other. Medicines, if given correctly, are sometimes left while the patient is sleeping. At times RNs cover two floors,at night making one floor without adequate care if necessary; otherwise they sleep at their desk. Lying is the norm l No way, and no thanks!!!

This facility appears to be clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The residents seem well cared-for. The food is offered in a variety of selections to suit every taste and dietary need. There are plenty of spaces for residents to interact in, visit with family members, and participate in recreational activities. Despite being in a busy area, they offer a parking lot. Its proximity to the beach allows for nice scenery and a spot to convene and enjoy nature. There is a patio in the back with plentiful seating. The nurses take pride in their work, and they make sure each resident is clean, fed, and accounted for.
