I toured Astoria Place Living & Rehab Center. I'm sure it's a nice place, but it seemed to me to be just like a hospital. It seemed to be maybe for someone who is very sick and has a lot of issues. My mom is not at that level yet, so I think that would depress her because all I saw was a hospital setting with machines and sick people walking around. So, I didn't think that was quite the place for her. I came in and a young lady came out and she just showed me all the different services that they have. She showed me the different rooms, and she showed me that one level, I guess, was for regular people, but then there is a floor where you need security access. I guess those patients tend to leave and they get lost. So they have different floors for that. The rooms were nice. They were kept up. I do remember a gym. I remember an area where you could sit down and read. They had a balcony where you could look outside. Not all the lounge areas had balconies. They had a lot of areas you could go and just be alone or with other people and relax.
