I visited a friend at Victory Centre of River Oaks. I particularly liked the layout. My friend resides on the first floor, but there are elevators in that building. The clients in that building seem to be very nice. The place was clean. They had a very nice library even though everything was small. They offer a space for recreation and exercise. They have spaces allotted for handicapped parking, too. They have a laundry unit in that building. The unit has a space to accommodate people with disabilities, like wide open spaces. If you're in a wheelchair or a walker, you can get into your kitchen or your bedroom without issues. The bathrooms are wide enough to get you in, but they don't have bathtubs. They have showers. It's fine for someone who is not looking for a lot of luxury things. They have air conditioning and heating included in there. You have access to a lot of big stores shopping at Sam's Club. There's stores and things that you can easily get access to within walking distance if you would like to. My friend seems very comfortable and pleased with her surroundings. And she has friends within her community, too.

I'm at Victory Centre of River Oaks. I moved in on the 4th of December, and I've only been here a few days. I love the apartment. The staff is very nice and accommodating. My apartment has a full kitchen, a walk- in shower, and 1-bedroom. I live alone, I do my own cooking, I'm independent. They have activities here, but I haven't participated in any because I'm still trying to move in. The living atmosphere is fine as far as I can tell. I'm not interactive with any of the tenants yet because I'm still busy trying to unpack and move in, so my opinion is too fresh right now. All I can talk about is the apartment and the staff. Maintenance has been very accommodating, and the staff has been very nice, so I have no problems there. They have facilities, but I just haven't been through them.

Victory Centre of River Oaks was very nice and clean. They have assisted and independent living. The area of the building was nice. I saw some tenants and they seemed to be happy and satisfied. The staff was really great and professional. The apartment was nice. They have Bingo, and they take them on trips if they want to participate.

The rooms at Victory Centre of River Oaks were a nice size, and the place was clean. They have storage areas in the basement with keys and locks. The staff member who assisted me was very pleasant, very informative, and very direct.

Victory Centre of River Oaks was nice, but it was a little far for us. They have pretty much the same things like outings, they take them out to eat, and they have board games, Bible study, and other things to keep them busy. They have a daily schedule, so they keep them busy. The staff was very patient with me, and she answered all my questions and called me back when she said she would. She was really helpful and informative.

I like Victory Centre also. The staff was very attentive and pleasant, and I like the location. The only thing is that they were near the River Oaks shopping mall, and I don’t want to be that close. Other than that, the location was fine, and the people were very nice. The rooms were of nice size with large bathrooms.

I liked Victory Centre. The place looked nice and had a nice, helpful staff member who went out of her way to help us. They had game nights, church service, and golf. The rooms were nice and looked like mini apartments.

Just returned from a visit celebrating my precious mother's birthday. She turned 93 years old! She was driving herself to church, the library and to swimming until a year ago last July. All of sudden she just became physically frail and could not remain in her home and care for herself any longer. My sister and I looked into places that mother might go to live and then discovered Victory Centre River Oaks! We moved her in to her adorable studio and in 4 months she has gained 15 lbs. back that she lost in rehab the months before. She looks healthy and beautiful and is getting her humor back and is very content with the wonderful care she is receiving. We are blessed that our mother is in a peaceful, safe, comfortable environment surrounded by other lovely residents. The staff strives for excellence and compassion.

Victory Centre of River Oaks seemed to be pretty nice. I did not get a complete tour of it. They had one- and two-bedroom apartments. The staff was friendly.

I thought Victory Centre was a great place, and I really wanted my father there. If I had to go a place like that, I would love to go there because everybody was really nice. They even had dog, and my father loves dogs. It had a nice patio. The entire building was nice. The rooms were gorgeous. It was really a nice set-up, and I felt bad that we were not able to do it. The activities that they had -- like the church activities and the other things -- were all just fantastic.

My father likes Victory Centre. It was very nice. The staff was wonderful. They seemed concerned about the people who were there. They seemed to be doing their job as best they could because dealing with people is very difficult, especially when the people are not always where they want to be. They did, however, seem to be very happy. They seemed to be very cordial to my father. They didn't seem to be having problems with anybody and nobody was disgruntled.

Victory Centre of River Oaks is pretty nice. I have no problems with it. The staff is wonderful. The activities are great. They give you more of a variety of things you can do. They have a lot of games. They even have a library. They have outings every week, and they take residents out to places. The rooms are bigger, however the 2-bedrooms are hard to come by because they have a waiting list.

Victory Center is nearby and dad likes it. The place is new about three years old. The food is pretty good. They have different activities but dad can drive so he can still choose to do his daily activities. The rooms are nice although the laundry is far away on another floor. The people and the nurses are also nice.
