My mother will be moving into Prairie Green at Dixie Crossing. It's supportive living. They have a lot of activities, and they have a lot of assistance for seniors with meals and just overall personal care. They'll help her with bathing, with washing clothes and medications. The staff member was very warm and very helpful. It's clean, and the upkeep is very good. They have transportation to take them to stores and doctor visits as well.

We visited both independent living and assisted living of Prairie Green at Dixie Crossing. I liked two things about it: they have little kitchenettes in their units, and the other thing is that they have a very nice and big dining area. The staff members were very good. They weren't pushy and they were thorough. They showed us the whole facility. They have beauty shop, exercise area, and therapeutic area. It felt more homey.

I liked Prairie Green at Dixie Crossing. Their apartments were beautiful. They had bathroom facilities and a little kitchen area that my sister could use; even the studio apartment was lovely. The dining area was nice too. The people seemed to interact with the residents, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. They also had activities like the regular bingo and outings. They were friendly and helpful, especially the director.

I visited Prairie Green in Chicago Heights, and it was good. It's worth considering. I was able to see a room, and it looked nice. The person who gave me the tour was nice. The place was very clean. I saw the dining room, and it was clean, too. I had a brunch of coffee and a roll there because it was in the morning when I visited.

I would not put any family member in Prairie Green at Dixie Crossing. It's very dirty, and it didn't look very well kept up. The staff who showed me around was more of a salesperson than anything else. There was only one apartment size and they're just tiny and they try and glorify them. It just doesn't play well in my book. The exterior was fine, but the interior was not well kept at all. Their fire alarm panel was completely lit up when we walked in. It's either they don't do maintenance on it or they don't keep an eye on it.

I've lived in Prairie Green for a week. It's a very clean and very friendly place. The staff is friendly. They had a luau last Friday, plus outings, trips, and a lot of activities. I've eaten a couple of times, and so far, it's good.

Prairie Green was OK and clean but was more assisted living than a nursing home, and my parents needed more care. The staff was good. They offered cleaning services and laundry.

I visited one assisted living called Prairie Green. It was very nice. The rooms were small but they were very clean. The residents seemed happy and full of energy. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and professional.

Prairiegreen has been a blessing to my grandma. She only has social security and once her savings were gone she was able to stay. This place has allowed her all the same care and amenities that much pricier places provide. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly and the food is really good.

Prairie Green at Dixie Crossing was very nice. It seemed like a very friendly community. It was smaller, so everybody knew each other quite well.

Our uncle is in Prairie Green. It is a new facility. It is clean and cosmetically appealing. The staff seems to pretty much be providing good service. We visit frequently, and everything seems to be as we expect it. The food is pretty good. The one thing that I get from uncle is that they have about 12 items and they cycle them. I think that is the case in most of the facilities, and actually I have had a couple of discussions with the administrator, and they are very open to any concerns and issues. They are forthright with the staffing and giving information. They have pretty much everything. They have an exercise room and almost anything that people want to try. I think they have a bit more of an open layout than the others. The flow for the residents there is probably a lot better than what I see from the other places as far as going to one area to another. The sanitation is very good.

I love Prairie Green At Dixie Crossing. It was a type of place you wouldn't mind going to. It was extremely clean and there was not an odor in the building. I love the colors in the quarters. I love the room situation. They had studios and one-bedrooms. I love the way they had the facility decorated. I love the lunch room. It was fabulous. There was a concerted effort on whoever designed that place to keep seniors in touch with the 21st century. There were computers. There was a library. For activities, they had card games, dominoes, Wii games, and outside activities. It seemed that there were a lot of interactions between the staff and residents and an attempt to get residents to interact with each other. With regards to the staff, even the casual personnel with one exception, was outstanding. I love the personalized attention my family and I received the moment we walked to the doors. They were very encouraging. I really like this place.
