My aunt has been living at Generations Assisted Living since 2018. The staff have been great at all levels of the facility. The work well with her and keep her as active as she wants to be. Generations also involves the family in the community with events and celebrations. The food is good and they do a good job of providing what she can eat. As she gets older, she's not tolerating regular food well and they work to find what she can and will eat. The only downside I've experienced is a lack of dental care management. She gets routine visits from a physician, but dental care doesn't seem to be on the list until there's a problem. I still recommend them as a great place to care for your loved one.

I toured Generations Assisted Living. To me, it's all about the initial impact of being welcomed into the facility, and that was a really good one. My appointment got jumbled up because I did it wrongly online with them, so they weren't expecting me at that time I showed up, which to me was better. It was very clean, it was very calm, and it was very organized. When I first walked into the place, they invited me into a meeting area and I was able to discuss with one of the directors of the facility. She was very understanding and empathetic to my needs and wanted to hear about my mother where she's at physically and mentally. When she heard that, she gave me a tour of the communities. They have four homes there at this Generations of different levels of care. She showed me around. She gave me a tour of the courtyard, the different homes, and the kitchen area where they had a chef and a dietitian. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. It was like home. I didn't try the food, but I saw it. It was May 5th and they were celebrating Cinco de Mayo with everybody else. They're preparing different meals for the different homes. Some were able to make their own tacos and burritos, and some were already pre-made by the kitchen. I saw assisted living and memory care.

I found Generations Assisted Living, and my mother is moving there tomorrow. We chose it because it has both assisted living and memory care, and everyone there is on the same boat. They all are assisted, they all need memory care, and they do it in steps. My mother is starting at memory care one. It goes to memory care six, you're placed with people that are in the same level as you. There are three buildings, three separate buildings. And each one has different levels of care. It's very spacious, airy and light. It has a very nice feeling when you walk in. It's very clean. The staff is gracious and very sweet to everyone. They play games with them. They take them on outings. They just care for them in general, and they have different things going on every day. They're going to take care of all of your medications. She's diabetic. They will be taking care of them. They do the ordering. They have their own hairdresser. They have the doctor that comes in.

I liked Generations Assisted Living. The cost was a little higher than I anticipated and that is a major factor because my brother doesn't have an unlimited supply of funds. One other concern I had was that the place is allocated for memory care, but they said that if he really wanted to get out of the front door and kept pushing on it, it would open and he would be able to get out. They said that never happened because somebody would notice him and stop him from going out, but that was still a real serious concern. We would have to bring in all of the furniture, including the bed, chair, and dressers. The person who gave me the tour was very nice, answered all our questions, and served us everything. She was very good. It was a really nice facility with a nice back courtyard and seemed very pleasant. I liked the fact that it had fewer people in than some of the other ones I visited.

A family member and I went to Generations Assisted Living. We looked at the facility, smelled it, looked at an empty room, talked to the CEO, talked to the head of the nursing staff, and watched people walked around, which was amazing. We didn't expect that, and it was very good. It ended up being reassuring rather than a virtual tour. They had a nice, enclosed courtyard with plants where people can get outside, especially for memory care. I didn't see anything that bothered me as regards cleanliness.

I am so thankful for Generations the staff management everyone is so helpful so caring so loving it's hard to pick out just one staff member when they're all just at the top of the list Gina Diana Anna and Caitlin Twyla all of them no matter what I ask or need they are very very accommodating my mother has been in there since last August she loves it there she has dementia and is confused at times and most of the time but the staff is so gentle and so accommodating to her they are all Saints I'm not over exaggerating this is the place that feels like home to my mother she even thinks of it as her house. I just couldn't imagine any other place for my mother.

My parents moved into Generations nearly two years ago after my dad fell and broke his hip and my mom's dementia got worse. Caelyn managed to place them in adjoining rooms allowing them to have a bedroom and sitting room. Because the facility is three separate houses, it feels more homey than many facilities which made my mother more comfortable. When my father needed hospice care later in the year, the staff coordinated with hospice and took wonderful care of him and made things as easy as possible for our family, allowing us to stay day & night. My mother is still living there. While the last year, due to Covid, has been challenging and heartbreaking, they made every effort to set up telephone/on-line/window visitation (which didn't work well with my mom) until June when limited visitation was allowed. Their first case of Covid was just after Christmas and visitation had to be shut down again, but they have made every effort to keep the families informed, including sending pictures and having an on-line family support group. But the facility is again Covid free and I get to visit Mom again this afternoon. They have always provide activities suitable for the level of each house. Now, with Covid, they have stepped that up to keep the residents busy and try to help fill the void of not being able to see family member. I feel so blessed we found Generations when we needed it. And for the staff that is so caring of not only the residents, but their families too. Until Covid, I would visit 4-5 times a week at various times of day. I got to know many of the staff that worked House 2 and the other residents. Haley has been there from the beginning and we adore her along with Caelyn (director) and Becky (nurse). Also Carmel and Chris (housekeeping & maintenance) who always take time to greet the residents when they are in the house. There are newer staff members that I haven't gotten to know (names elude me) since Covid, but my limited interaction puts me at ease because I can tell they care. There was only one staff member (at the beginning) that I didn't like the way she interacted with my father. I let the management know of my concerns and evidently others had too because she was dismissed shortly after.

Twyla is fantastic! She really cares about the individual and is on top of everything! Anne has been very helpful with billing questions and Caelyn keeps everyone informed of COVID issues, visits etc. I couldn't sleep without knowing my mother was in good hands, I was lucky to get her in when I did. We are at almost 3 years now and overall it has been a great experience. Laura

I moved my husband here after he was booted out of the previous facility for his bad behavior. He was welcomed here, with open arms. After all many Alzheimer’s patients have bad behavior, but the staff must be trained on how to deal with it. After being at Generations for a short time, his bad behavior has disappeared. Why? Because he is receiving good care from people who have affection for him. They tell me he is very sweet and polite. I’ve seen, (and smelled) a huge difference in him now that he’s here. He seems content and comfortable, which gives me peace.
