My brother moved to the memory care of Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. I liked that they have a very caring staff. They contact me if anything is going on or whatever. They have laundry. They cleaned the room once a week. There are all kinds of activities there. They have good meals. They have frequent visits to the room. They have medical doctors and nurses that he can get. Once a month they meet and do an evaluation on him, which I appreciate. Their food is good. The facility is beautiful even where he's in his care area. They've redone it, painted, cleaned, and put new carpet and furniture. It's very nice. They provide physical therapy, so I have that twice a week for him.

I went to Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. It was so beautiful. When we walked in, you would think you were walking into the lobby of a beautiful hotel. It is really beautiful, with high ceilings, big large windows, and lots of wood, beautiful wood floors. It's just a beautiful place and it's beautiful because it's very, very expensive. My husband, I cannot afford it. They have homes there that you have to like, pay $500, 000 down, and besides that, you have to pay a monthly rent. You have to pay like they have homes there that you have to put like $500,000 down on them. And then evidently, you can live there. And then in the end, besides putting that down, you have to pay a monthly rent. So depending on how big of a place you're in, if you're in the building itself with a unit, it's a little less. They also have separate homes and they have separate cottages. So it's quite a choice there. Their villa homes are 2000 sq. ft. That will be a regular house, a large home, so you can see why it's quite expensive. But there's a lot of people that can afford it, and they seem to be having a lot of people there. We went there two times, and both the women who took us around and had a tour were very, very friendly and fun. You were very comfortable with them, and it was just a good experience. I enjoyed them. We looked at a cottage. It was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage, it had a little lawn and a few shrubs around it. They also had a dog park. If you had a dog, you could take them to the dog park. They had a little cafe that you could go in. And if you wanted to just have a sandwich at 3:00 pm or, something to drink with it, or a hamburger, you could do that. There's a formal dining room for your meals. You didn't have to pay for your meals in the rent. I think you got credit or something like that for the meals. They had a salon, a library, a theater, and an exercise room.

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village was like a hotel. We couldn't even consider living there. It's too expensive. It's fairly new. It's nice and you get what you paid for. We walked past a dessert cart and it looked fabulous. It was top of the line, but it was just not in our budget in any way.

We toured Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. The place had everything. It's just very expensive. At the time, we looked at a cottage there. The staff that we met were all exceptional at what they did, and it was very comforting. They all made you feel very comfortable and welcome. We had the food there and it was very good. They provided a lot of things that we probably would not have used. There's a golf course, a gym, a bistro, and a lot of amenities.

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village is an amazing place, but it doesn't feel right for me. The staff is very good. I felt like all the residents going around the place were dressed up to go to a party. We had lunch there and it was very nice. I had the lemon chicken with rice and artichoke hearts and it was quite nice. They had 2 dining areas, one was a restaurant and the other one was a dining hall. They have a pool and a lot of aquatic classes. They have a golf course. They have a garden where you can take care of your own plants. The place is huge, but it is very nice and very clean. The people walking around are very friendly.

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village was a very nice place. The people that we toured with were very professional and very good at their jobs. I have the assurance that they would take very good care of my mother there. When you're in the assisted living area, the one-room available was nice but was located upstairs, and my mother would have to operate an elevator to get to the dining hall. She wouldn't be able to do that with her memory problems, but they're a very nice place. They also are requiring all of their staff to be vaccinated. We saw the memory care too, and I think she would be well taken care of there even though their rooms were a little smaller. They were getting a meal served to them and it looked fine. They have a nice courtyard area, which is important, for people to be able to enjoy a little bit of the outdoors. There was one problem though, they had a beauty shop, not right exactly in the memory care area, but in the hallway. So, as we were leaving, you could smell that someone was getting a perm and it smells bad.
This place is not the place for my mom

Touchmark and the staff has been a complete let down. In our family's experience. The nursing staff is not qualified or caring to assure that our family member is taken care of. Her medicines have been lost. Her pill dispenser has been misplaced. We have spoken to the administrator. With a promise to return a call. Never returned call. Nurses who assured they would check. Never checked. A family member was in the apartment. Pressed the emergency button. No one showed at all.

I toured Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village memory care. We had decided that would be a good place for my father. However, the nurse called me and said she didn't feel that my father's behaviors were under control and they wouldn't accept him. I worked with a young woman, and she was very pleasant, knowledgeable, very helpful, and very nice. She sent me a Thank You note yesterday as if we were going to be living there but the nurse told me they wouldn't take him. They let me check the menu, but they didn't offer me anything, which I'm sure that's because of Covid. There were food choices, and that's important to me that he has a choice in what he can eat. The facility was beautiful, clean, and very homey. Even though it was one of the most expensive, it didn't feel institutional.

We went to Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. I did not choose it because of the location. The staff was very nice, great, and very informative. It was a good, full tour. I saw a room with a bath, I liked it because they have a french door that opens horizontally, so you can have the top half of the door open and the bottom half closed, which provides a little more privacy, and I did like the doors. They have exercise class, same as the other place I went to.

We have been living here for about 15 months. The fees were high but we liked the options. Many if them are not available due to Covid which cannot be helped. However, the food quality has been getting worse over the last year. Even though we used to get a 'complimentary' breakfast, that is no longer the case. The meal choices are extremely poor. High carbs, high fat, high salt and very little salad choice and the prices are now a la carte and very high for the quality. Very little fresh fruit or vegetables. The service generally gets good marks but the kitchen we rate as very poor. We get a lot of apologies for poor quality from the kitchen but no improvement noted so far. They clean every two weeks and the two people are given an hour to clean a two bedroom, two bath house. Even though they work the whole time, means several missed places and anything other than the obvious areas accumulate dust. The maintenance staff is timely. We were told outside maintenance was included and in general that is true but we are doing our own weeding since there is little effort to keep them under control. This place is attractive to look but is definitely not living up it's promises. We have two couples who were thinking of moving here but I now are recommending no to them based about 70% on the food plan.

I like Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. They took COVID seriously, and I appreciated that. The lady that we met with was very nice and very professional. She gave us a nice tour and she answered all of our questions. She has been very thorough and diligent in her follow up, but not pushy. I'm in sales, so I appreciate a follow up that's not pushy. She's always available when I want to talk. We saw a two-bedroom apartment that I believe was for assisted living. The outside is first class. It's a beautiful building. It has well-maintained grounds.

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village assisted living is phenomenal and great. The staff is very polite, helpful, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. The place is warm, friendly, cordial and comfortable. The food is very good. They have just about any activity that you would like to have and they have them going all the time. You name it, they have it. They have a pool, transportation service within and outside the complex, and outside activities that they bus them to like a concert or speaking event.

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village was nice and new, but it's way too fancy for my mother-in-law. She was not impressed. The staff was cordial, friendly, and helpful. They had apartments and you can buy a house across the street, and they're all nice. We saw a library and an exercise room.

My dad moved in to Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. He really liked it, and it is a very nice facility although it is kind of pricey. The place looks like a resort. The staff are really good and friendly. His room is 600 square feet. The only thing I'd like to change is his room could be wheelchair accessible like the closets.

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village had a fitness center and a little bit of everything to do there. The staff was outstanding. They treat you like a person and not a number, were very knowledgeable, and when you walk in, they're right there to take care of you. The rooms were great and carpeted. They're everything you expect to find. They have a golf course, and we belong to their fitness club now because they're allowing non-members to join. We visited one of our friends there who was in her 90s, and they check on her every day and made sure she was OK. I think everyone who's there wouldn't have to worry about anything.

We put my mother in Touchmark. The staff members are really great people, and the facility is really nice. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, a bathroom, a living room, and a bedroom. They have lots of activities going on all of the time. It’s a very nice place, the people are great, and my mom is doing well there, so it’s just perfect for her.

Rate increased 4%. Management does not listen to resident suggestions. Billing department does not read the lease agreements and mis-billed my parents. Now they won't correct their mistakes. Maintenance is sometimes good -- one of them is a bit of a snot. They haven't replaced the lights for the garage entrance - say the bulbs are on order.... It has been WEEKS. They need to look at ways to reduce costs, not increase them. Guess they don't know what energy efficiency is. Also, their card readers are antiquated - it takes a lot of dexterity to get them into the card reader. Newer versions allow you to just wave at the reader which would be easier. Maybe no one in the management staff has arthritis. Their bathrooms also need to be better equipped with more storage (can you really live with one medicine cabinet and 1 vanity in a bathroom) ... Bathrooms also needs to have ADA grab bars.

Meadow Lake Village is beautiful. I love it. Actually my husband has stayed there for a week to find out what it was like. They were really, really good. I would recommend this facility, but you would have to have a lot of money. Well the rooms, you can get any size you want, and they were very good. The people were so helpful and very nice. They did wonderful things. They would go to community plays, they would go to all the things that are around here, and they would go for trips up the mountain. They were excellent.

Meadow Lake Village was a very nice facility, but we found it to be more expensive. We took it out of consideration because of the pricing. We saw one room, and it was very nice, but it was not any better than the other facilities we visited as far as the room goes. We noticed they seem to have more staff.

The reason we visited Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village was because of what it offered. I thought they had $750, but it was $3750; I can't believe it. They had a nurse on duty, they would deliver meals in two times a day, and it was gorgeous. I was very impressed, but not when they told me how much it was.

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village is a community within itself, and probably the largest one around. It’s beautiful, with many buildings in there, but it’s very expensive. It’s right at the back of the hospital. It tends to be a very active community. In fact they invite people from out of the community all the time. A week hasn’t gone by that I don’t get an invitation from them for a celebration. They have a one or two bedroom apartments. They have beautiful single homes too. I was in love with the houses. They have great kitchens and high-quality appliances. The people are quite nice. They give you a guided tour and talk about all the amenities. The food is fine.

I was really impressed with Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. It was just a gorgeous and lovely place. They have beautiful people there. The lady who gave me a tour was extremely informative. She told me about programs available for financing for my father and information to different programs through the government that I had not known about. Touchmark has assisted living, senior living, and separate housing. It was my first choice. They have a situation there that would meet the needs of what I was looking for. They have apartment living, where they could have somebody come and assist my mother with my father, like when he has incontinence issues and just needs help cleaning up. If my father advanced to needing more care, they could move them over to the more specialized care in another apartment situation and still able to keep them together. They were very beautiful apartments. They were two-bedroom apartments, and it was just like having their own home, though a little smaller. However, it did have plenty of rooms, so they didn't feel like they were just in a bedroom. They also have programs available at the site that would be of interest to my parents with their services. They also have clubs, libraries, and activities that would meet the needs of both my parents. They even have different levels of care for their food.

Meadow Lake is beautiful. It has very nice grounds, it's very up to date. It's beautifully decorated, very warm, very inviting, very spacious rooms. In fact, they have a nice kitchen. It varies what you select, but they have two meals a day. I stayed there for a week. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. They have several common areas with fireplaces. They have a library, they have a gym. They have a nine-hole golf course on the grounds. The ones my mom and stepfather generally attend are the historical lectures. There are lots of other things, but that's the one that they do most often.

Touchmark was the first one we looked at and nothing compared to that. That is really a first class operation. They give excellent service. They got a whole community full of ranch-model homes, i.e., two-bedroom, three-bedroom with one or two-car garages. They also got the typical condominium style houses. They also have assisted living facility and memory care facility. They got a good location as the hospital is just two blocks away.
