My dad is at Legends Park Assisted Living Community. The building looks new and clean. That's one of the big sell, just the building itself. My dad is on the second floor and he's in a wheelchair, off and on. He does use a walker, but they will take him down for all three meals or they'll bring the meals to his room if he doesn't feel like going down into the dining room. They would do his laundry. They clean his room every day if he needs it. So the services are pretty good. We're completely happy with it. I think the staff are great. I haven't seen anything or felt anything bad about the staff. I think they're great. The set-up in the dining room is almost like a fancy place to eat. You go to a table, and they come and wait on you. They ask you what you want to drink. If you don't want the main meal that they serve (it's on the menu for that day), you can order side things off of another sheet of paper. The choices are amazing. They have some activities, but my dad does not participate yet.

We toured Legends Park Assisted Living Community. They were extremely helpful. We did not eat there, but the residents seemed quite happy there. They don't have many activities. The staff was wonderful. The physical facility is very clean but dated. The rooms were a little bit smaller. There wasn't as much availability of options to choose from.

Legends Park Assisted Living was a nice place. We were accommodated well, and they answered all our questions. The dining room was nice. They had good offerings. It felt homey, and it was very clean, modern, and updated.

I chose Legends Park for my mom. They have Bingo, exercises classes, and memory classes. The meals were good. They have a beauty salon, a library, and a puzzle place.

I liked Legends Park. The rooms were clean, looked fairly new, and had good views. They had an exercise room and an activities room. The staff was very helpful, and they had a nice open area. People seemed to be enjoying themselves there.

Legends was nice; it was warm. It's more of an institution. When you walk through the door, you are right in the middle of a huge dining room, which looked more like a cafeteria. It was 2 stories, so in a wheelchair you have to go up an elevator, and it's a very long distance in the hallway to get to a room. The rooms were apartment style. The staff was very delightful. I thought the staff was great; they were very attentive and professional. The limiting factor was the layout. They had dogs coming in, and people had pets there and were bringing pets there.

We found Legends Park Assisted Living for my father through Caring.com. It is very clean and smells nice. The residents are happy, kind, and engaged. The staff is fabulous, caring, and responsive to my questions and needs. When I tell them what I need, they do it. My father is in a one-bedroom apartment with a full bath, shower, and mini kitchen. It has a great view. They do bingo; that’s always important. They also have brain games for people with dementia and invite a lot of outsiders to come in and engage with them. It is a very small community, so everybody knows everybody there and get along really well. The food is fine. It is not what I would like, but it is exactly what my dad likes. So, for older people, the food is great. I have had a really good experience there. All of the residents interact with each other, know each other, and do things together. The facility has a very nice dining room and a nicely appointed lobby where residents very often congregate and chit-chat. They have a nice, little activity room where they show movies. They have a really good activity leader. They go out for drives sometimes. It is just a very nice and very close community.

I visited Prestige Senior Living (Legends Park Assisted Living). I had an appointment there, and when I got there, nobody was at the front desk. They need to have help upfront. Also, the lady who took me around seemed occupied. It was after lunch, so I didn't get to see the food.

Legends Park was OK. It just did not rank quite as high as most of them. It seemed reasonable. The rooms were considerably smaller compared to the other facility we went to. The people that we met when we were there were all very nice.
