It was such a blessing to discover Vernon Springs! It has a beautiful convenient location and totally renovated facility. It is a smaller assisted living that transitions to Memory care if needed for your love one. The staff is friendly, accessible and knowledgeable. It is immaculately clean and rooms are spacious. I can speak to a staff member at any time ( I even have several cell phone numbers of caregivers!) My mother loves living there. There is a concierge doctor on call that visits every week or when called upon. I would not have my mother anywhere else. Vernon Springs is love.

My mother-in-law has been at Vernon Springs for 11 months now and we couldn’t be happier with their attention to detail. Care is very loving and respectful. My mother-in-law loves the food . Vernon Springs always smells clean and fresh. Upon looking at 10 different facilities when we were making our decision Vernon Springs stood out as being loving, caring and professional. It does not feel like a corporate home it feels like a living home. We are very happy with the level of care my Mother-in-law has at Vernon Springs. Lots of safe activities for the residents to enjoy.

My father has been living at Vernon Springs for over a year now and he can not be happier! The facility is always very clean and has a very home like atmosphere. The staff is awesome! They are attentive to Dad's needs and are always very friendly! His apartment is always kept clean, his clothes are washed weekly and his medications are brought to him like clockwork! Dad enjoys the meals and says the food is wonderful! He is very happy living at Vernon Springs !

Insignia of Sandy Springs is great. The cleanliness is good. The layout is good. The person who accommodated me was fine. She talked about the different ways and different options. I did not observe any activity. The apartments are nice. Some of the staff members are good. I ended up keeping my father at Insignia of Sandy Springs. I chose it. The management is good. When you bring something to their attention, they do try to correct it. However, sometimes they cannot keep on top of things. For example, sometimes there is poop smell in the hallway. They do try to correct it, but you have to stay on top of it. The food is pretty bad too. Also my father has been left behind in his room a couple of times. He was not brought down, which was very upsetting to me. Sometimes his laundry is not done. Their nurse is very good though.

Mom is in the memory care unit of Insignia of Sandy Springs. The staff has been wonderful and is taking very good care of her. She has been very content there, and we're very pleased with the care that she's been receiving. What stands out is the overall attitude of the staff. They seem to be very pleasant, and they seem to really care about the people that they're working with. We made a very good choice.

We chose Insignia of Sandy Springs for respite care for my mother. I felt that it was a good place, and I was very pleased. I felt comfortable that I could contact them, and I would definitely leave Mom there again. I was very pleased that they worked with me in any kind of emergency preparations, so I am very happy with Insignia and their staff.

Insignia of Sandy Springs is good. The staff is fantastic, very caring, and very receptive. Everything we ask or suggest, they jump right on it and handle it. I can't be happier or more pleased. They do a pretty good job with the activities and have something every day, whether it's exercise or a movie. They have people come in and play the piano for them, do arts and crafts, and go out for lunch occasionally. They include memory care patients in all of the activities. They had a big party on Cinco de Mayo, a barbecue the other day, and an event with a local church two weeks ago. They always have things going on. The staff is just phenomenal, from the director right down to the caregivers. There's just not enough words to say how great they are and how great they've been. The facility is beautiful, very modern, very clean, very neat, and very pleasing in the way they have it decorated. Everything is just wonderful.

When we visited, they were very nice and courteous. They invited us for a meal, it was very nice and we enjoyed it. It was also very warm and inviting, they took good care of us. We came back for another meal, we were treated like royalty. The staff was very welcoming.

We put my husband in The Carlton a week ago. It's only four blocks from where I'm going to be living. Everyone's very nice, very enthusiastic, and very helpful and doing everything they could to help us. Some of the food has been quite good, but some of it has been so-so. But hors d'oeuvres are good. They have scheduled activities every day that starts after breakfast with exercise. And then they have about five more things through the day. All the rooms are arranged in a circle, so they all have nice big windows to the outside. But then the main areas like the living room which has a fireplace and a big TV, the eating areas and activity areas, those are in the middle so they have skylights, but they don't have any windows.
