I liked The Gables at Wolf Creek. That's the one I'm leaning towards. Everything was just nice. My children have all been very impressed with their facility from what they have seen. My granddaughter that lives close by says the porches will be so wonderful to sit on. I have talked with the staff and I've also met some of the people that live there, and I was impressed. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. In their main building, they have a place to eat, but they don't cook meals every day there (it's for a get-together). I was impressed. I like where they're located. Macon is growing and it's just a good place to be able to get in and out, go to the store , and do whatever I need to do.

The Gables at Wolf Creek was a very nice facility. I just went in and I picked up some information and they were having a potluck luncheon. They came to the clubhouse and they were all having lunch together. I thought that it was really neat that they all brought their little potluck food and joined each other. They had like little houses that stand separate from one another and they were very, very nice. The community was gated so it's very safe. The staff was very helpful and very nice, too.

The Gables at Wolf Creek was beautiful. The landscaping was beautiful. The apartments were really spacious and very nice with front porches and back decks. I did not like the 1-bedroom because it was just a den without a door, in case you have guests. The people were very friendly. It was a nice experience. This facility appeared to be an apartment complex for seniors, as opposed to anything beyond that. I don't think they have food service but I think you can order lunch or something. I don't remember seeing a dining room or a gym, I only saw a community room for activities.

The Gables at Wolf Creek was really nice. Everything looked great. I liked the front porch. It's almost like my home. Everything is on one floor and you have your garage and a patio out back. It's in North Macon and it's the best part of the City of Macon. There's no pool, but there is a health center that's not too far away. Everybody was very cordial. They have a library, an exercise room, and a cafeteria.

The Gables at Wolf Creek was really nice. I liked it. I saw a very nice one-bedroom apartment with hardwood floors. The facility was equipped for handicapped people and wheelchair accessible. The residents were nice. They had all kinds of activities, like bingo. There's a parking space right in front of the apartment, which would be very convenient for us.

We moved into The Gables a year ago in August. There are different types of rooms here: two-bedrooms with two bathrooms, a living room and dining room; single bedrooms with two bathrooms, a living room and dining room. Each place has a garage. We have a two-bedroom unit. The rent is approximately $2,000 to $2,200 a month. All pf the electricity, water, TV, yard care, and any maintenance that we require is free. They are always providing entertainment, like bingo, ice cream, and watermelon cuts. There is something going on all of the time.

The Gables at Wolf Creek is a great place. I think there are 80 cottages, and we each have an attached garage. There are some one-bedrooms, some two-bedrooms -- I live in a two-bedroom -- and then, we can get lunch if we wanted. We can order it, or we can just live here. It is just a very safe community. It is gated, and there are many activities that we can take advantage of if we want. There was a Mexican party yesterday, which was fun. We had good food, and we all got to get together. There is Bridge, Bingo, and all kinds of birthday parties. There are multiple things you can do if you are interested. We have a delicious chef. I think it is great; excellent. But we've had plumbing problems -- the pipes are beginning to leak, so they are in the process of replacing those. Other than that, if we have any problems, they have maintenance people that come and take care of it. There is storage in the attic over the garage, but they don't want the women to go up there. If we want to put something up there, we'd call the maintenance man, and they would go up there to get it or take it down or whatever. I am very satisfied.
