Mom is at Holiday Pinegate. The facility is good. The staff is nice. They have some good food and they have varieties. They do three meals a day. It's clean in the kitchen, too. The rooms are nice. I liked that they didn't have carpet on the floor. They do a lot of activities. Mom did bingo and they had a guy that comes and sings to them and it's just perfect because he sings all the songs that all of them would be singing and dancing. They also play with water balloons and trivia. They play a lot. They do a lot of stuff. They help Mom sometimes. When we're not there, they all come and get her for breakfast. Then take her back to her room. If she forgets where to go, they'll take her back to the room and help her out a lot. It's a good value for the money.

We toured Holiday Pinegate. Its proximity to health care services was one of the big ones that was something that we were looking for. It's very close to Piedmont Northside now, very close to a pretty reputable hospital that we're familiar with. It's also close to a lot of our health care providers centrally located. The staff was very good. They have a new chef, but we have dined there many times in the past, and it's always been fairly decent. It's really clean there. The apartment we're leasing is being completely renovated before we move into it.

My mom moved into Holiday Pinegate. The staff is dedicated to providing good service to their clients. The staff is different there than it is in the other two facilities. It's an independent living situation. So, they don't have nursing care. But there's the actual staff, the people that work there. They are very genuine and seem to care about their residents. The food looks amazing. My mom has not complained, so it must be all right. The facility is clean and very well-kept. Before my mom moved in, they remodeled the whole apartment. New carpet, new everything. They genuinely seem to care about the residents. They have activities galore. They have a church. They have a hair salon. They have activities planned throughout the day every day. It's such an awesome facility.

My loved one has moved into Holiday Pinegate. It was great because he's the youngest. My loved one is his 50's, he had a stroke, and I think that this is the best that he's going to be. His daily care living is going to be constantly a cue or a reminder for him of what to do every single moment of his life. I was tired and I am on disability for anxiety and depression myself, and so we found the perfect place for my loved one. They welcomed him with open arms. Every facility that I toured was wonderful, and every facility that is set up for this type of work is good for its own reason, but you have to have that special connection, and you have to connect with that special place. Pinegate was the one that was all in all the best, because there was a collaboration of ages and sizes and models and circumstances. And that wisdom can energize my loved one and make him strive. Their dining experience is like restaurant style. No plastic spoons or forks and no Styrofoam cups. It is silverware. With regards to activities so far, I've heard that they had Wheel of Fortune, and I went to one dance that they had around Valentine's Day, and then they had where you make a request for your song. But they had several activities going on while we were there. Everybody seemed to just gravitate to those activities and stuff. It's a meaningful thing to keep your mind active. The staffing is genuine when it comes to the residents' concerns and care. They're not just there for the money, they're not there for the environment, they're there from the bottom of their heart. They give from their heart. And there are long hours of the day and long hours of the night. I have come in as far as 9:00 and 10:00, and I've seen nurses up there washing in the laundry room with these people. They carry on conversations, but they are getting work done. They go beyond and above their job description.

My tour experience at Holiday Pinegate was great. Everybody was friendly. The staff was friendly. Everything was great except for the price. We just couldn't afford it, but we would love to be there. The rooms they showed us were fine. The amenities they have are great. They have a library, a movie place, a place where you could exercise, and physical therapy. Some people were sitting in the rocking chairs when we were there. The place was great. The lady who gave us the tour was attentive to our needs.

Holiday Pinegate is a wonderful community. The staff was wonderful when I went and visited. I saw a 1-bedroom apartment, and it was pretty clean and spacious. They just didn't have a washing machine or dryer. The dining area was very clean and spacious. They had a little patio for you to put a chair out there and sit on. They had activities.

I liked Holiday Pinegate. The only thing was it did not have a stove in the apartment, but you could use a microwave. It had a lot of amenities and activities going on. It was newer so naturally, it was a gorgeous place. The rooms were really large. I liked them and their layout. The staff was excellent. I've had some dealings with them through my church and they're very nice. It was beautiful.

Holiday Pinegate was very nice. It wasn't quite as new as the other facility we saw, but the staff and the apartments were nice. They're pretty roomy. It seemed like a very pleasant place for seniors to live. The dining room was easily accessible by the residents. They had activities, so they tried to keep their residents involved with one another. The only thing was they had a little laundry room for everybody. You won't be having your own in your apartment. I think it would be better and more convenient for people to have their own laundry facilities in their apartments, so they didn't have to carry all their stuff down the hall.

Holiday Pinegate was a pleasant surprise because I didn't expect them to be so on the money in terms of medical assistance. There's a hospital nearby, and if you need rehab, they would have a rehab person come into the premises and you wouldn't have to go anywhere. They have transportation if you need to go somewhere and can't drive. The apartments were rather plain but functional. Their food service is out of this world. It's like being in a restaurant. You have 3 different menu options for lunch, 3 different menu options for dinner, and a variety of stuff for breakfast, and they have a chef on the premises. The apartments only have kitchenettes because of their super duper food service. They have house cleaning services every week, and they clean your linens and towels once a week. You only have to wash your own clothes and the washer/dryer are on the same floor just down the hall.

The staff at Holiday Pinegate was nice and helpful. The apartment was nice and spacious, but the price has gone up about $1000 from last year. I was surprised at the increase in the price. We saw the dining facility, the chapel, the beauty shop, and the general gathering areas. The cleanliness was good, but the carpet looked a little dated and was not as fresh and clean. You can tell the facility is dated. The people were nice enough. The lady there was very friendly.

Pine Gate was great. Everything was good. They marked everything off as good: the service, the people that were there, and the amenities. The staff was excellent.

I just moved here at Pinegate and I enjoy it so far. The staff is nice. They have activities but I haven't attended them yet, they have a lot of stuff going on. Sometimes, the food can get lousy but most of the time it's good. I have come down at eating time and they ain't serving nothing but a sandwich, and so on those days, I don't even bother going down if they're serving us a sandwich. The apartment is nice and clean and they have other amenities.

We had a chance to go and do a physical visit to the Pinegate. It was nice. Brianna was very helpful and very patient. We saw a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom. It was during a snack time, and they were doing a baseball theme. They had popcorn, snacks, and stuff. We walked around and we asked questions. The grounds were beautiful. It was very clean. My grandmother was very pleased with the facility, but I think she's just struggling with giving up her independence, and that change, like giving up her home, and the way she has it, and transitioning into that change. It was nice. It was a wonderful tour. The staff was patient, and she took her time with the concerns that my grandmother had. She always verbalized understanding. She wasn't pushy. She was always saying, "That's your decision," but gave options. There were always suggestions about "what we have to help with that." My grandmother was like, "Oh, I get confused walking around here." "Well, the first couple of weeks we have an ambassador that goes around with you," so I feel like she addressed all the concerns that someone new would have coming in and tried to be very accommodating. My grandmother would repeat herself sometimes, so she would give the whole spiel as though it was the first time, so she had a lot of patience and provided good suggestions. The staff was all smiling, friendly, and welcoming. The facility was gorgeous. It was well-kept and it smelled good on the inside. It was very clean. No problems.

Pinegate was nice and the people were nice. The lady that talked with me was very nice. She explained some of the things to me about the home. She showed me a few things and the place. The place was clean and everything was nice. I found the people that I spoke to there were very pleasant, very polite, and knowledgeable with what they're talking to me about. They were good. The facility seems very well run, and I would recommend them. The grounds were clean, and the lawn was nice.

Pinegate was very nice. It was a great place and it looked like a lot of fun. We were impressed with it for sure. The person who helped me was great. She was very informative and funny. It was very pleasant and we learned a lot. The dining area looked great. I like the fact that you could order from a menu. We didn't observe any activities. We only just saw some people going around, but we really didn't go and watch any activities. Nevertheless, it looked like they had a lot to offer. The apartments were OK; they seemed nice enough.

The manager was so nice and accommodating. The facility provided a two day stay in one of the suites for my mother that my wife and I truly appreciated. My mother only stayed one night and she did enjoy her stay but our family thinks she is not ready yet to move away from family. I believe my mother needs more than just independent living she requires assisted living.

went to tour this retirement home for my dad . It was terrible. When we walked in, several people were at the desk swearing and talking. No one acknowledged us. The young girl at the desk was swearing and texting away. Not paying attention to anyone. Older lady in the office who appeared to the manager was rude and smelled of marijuana. As she walked by us, also on her phone being loud and yelling. No one noticed us. We looked around and walked out with no one saying a word.

My mother-in-law moved into Pinegate. The sales staff had an awesome spirit. It's been an awesome couple of months since she's been there. The staff is amazing and incredible. The food is better than mine, and every time we go, we ate there. We were blown away by Pinegate.

My mother is in Pinegate. They have great faculty staff and a nice living environment. They have a homey atmosphere. My mother is in a one-bedroom with a living area, a stand-up shower, and a small porch at the back. The food is average. They serve three meals a day. The grounds are well kept, and the location is adequate. They have daily outings.

Pinegate was my favorite if I could afford it. They were very professional, and it was immaculately clean. They had a registered chef and a regular menu with alternative selections that would cover any special dietary needs. The rooms were very nice and large with fit plush carpeting throughout. The residents seemed friendly. They had transportation and either one or two outings a week where they take you in their van or bus to go shopping or to the theater. They had a game room, a TV room, and several games available. You can play chess, checkers, and cards. They allow small pets. Every room had either a balcony or opened to the outside if it is on the ground floor. It is three stories. For a retirement place, they had a fairly large number of men.

The employees at Pinegate were awesome, but the management team had no concern for their residents. The activities there were lousy and consisted only of bingo and volleyball. There are 300 rooms in the building and only two elevators.

My mother is in Pinegate. I like the facility and the manager. They have a bus service from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., so you don’t need a car. They will take you to doctors' appointments, any activities, or shopping. It is wonderful. They serve three gourmet meals a day prepared to meet everybody’s dietary needs. They have so many activities going on every day, plus a barber and beauty shop. The apartments range from a very small studio apartment to a two-bedroom home. You can visit anytime, and if you stay for an extended amount of time, they only charge you $5 a meal, so there are lots of family members visiting. They have a therapy room, exercise room, and gym equipment. In the kitchen, there's only a refrigerator and a sink, so you have to bring your own microwave. Across the street, there is a hospital, and down the street, there is a long-term-care hospital. It’s quiet, surrounded by trees, and used to be a home community. If you go to another state with a Holiday facility, you can stay there with the prices dependent on the place.

I liked Pinegate and its nice surroundings. I saw a really nice one-bedroom apartment, but it did not have a kitchen, and the parking space was too far away from the apartment. There is less privacy in this facility because it’s like living in a house with somebody else, and I don’t like that.

Pinegate had everything we were looking for. The level of care they provide seems to be working for us. The staff are very informative and very nice. The atmosphere at this facility is very good and very upbeat. Everybody seems to care about everybody. They have all kinds of activities like bingo, art, and exercises. Mom is really enjoying it there.

At Pinegate, the atmosphere was really nice and pleasant. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. Everything there was really peaceful. We only toured one room, and it was nice. The facility was fine as it was. We didn't see a problem as far as getting in and out, and if you're independent living and if you want to go to anywhere, everything was very convenient and close.

My parents are in Pinegate Retirement Community. The managerial staff is really good. They are very caring and very concerned about my parents. We hired some caregivers as well but they are not associated with Pinegate. I will have to say that the only thing about Pinegate that I did not care for is their waiting staff in the dining room. The food and everything is really good. They have a nice selection. They keep coffee going all day. It is just that the servers that are not friendly. The apartment is very nice. It is a two-bedroom apartment with two full baths and a nice balcony out on the back of it. It has a little kitchenette. It is nice and comfortable. The dining room is very pretty. It is set-up very nicely. It is kind of like going into a very nice restaurant. You have your plates, your dishes set up nicely with the utensils, and they have tablecloths. I feel like my parents are pretty secure there. The doors are locked at 8:30. You have to have a key card to go in from the outside. They have activities like musicians coming in to play music. They have karaoke nights, poker night, bingo night, craft afternoon, and they have all kinds of staff like that.

Everything was very nice at Pinegate. They decorated it beautifully for the fall, and it was very clean. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The nurses and the aides were very attentive. They came to see if we needed anything. The 2-bedroom apartment was nice, too. The food was very good. They had activities like puzzles and paintings. However, we felt like it was not for us. There were a lot more patients that were invalid and we are not to that point yet.

This retirement home is a very nice place. It is very well kept and look aesthetically beautiful. All of the retired citizens seem very happy including the retired citizen that I have visted. The rooms are nice and home-friendly. All of the staff are extremely nice and really care about the citizens. The citizens have their own space and are not crammed. My grandmother finds this facility very enjoyable. The facility is located in the middle of Macon's beauty with very nice botanical gardens and plant-life surrounding the facility. It is also close by to many of Macon's attractions. There is a mall and many restaurants in the surrounding area. The only negative comment I can make about this facility is the occasional rude employee that I have encountered. However, this should be expected in any time of work environment and should not discredit this wonderful facility. I think this place deserves more recognition.
