My husband moved to Madison Heights at the Prado. He's doing good. They are very attentive and get to know them on a first-name basis, which has been nice, and a national support dog, which they're very gracious about, and they let her come and everybody loves her. As for the staff, there's only one that continually has a negative disposition, rest of them were precious. The food is delicious. There are three buildings, and between buildings one and two and between buildings two and three, there's a delightful courtyard with a paved sidewalk through it.

Madison Heights at the Prado was very nice. The lady who helped us was very pleasant, very nice, and very helpful. She talked about how good the food was. Everyone there seemed happy. They were in the dining areas. The food smelled good. They seemed to be very knowledgeable. They had call buttons on the walls, but not around their neck, though. They would assist in bathing and things like that. Their prices were higher. They were probably about $300 more a month on their rooms. They clean their fingernails, keep hair and beards shaved, and things like that. The facility was very clean. Not quite as new, but I think it's been remodeled a few times. Depending on what you're looking for, price-wise, it was more expensive and did not offer as much.

Madison Heights at the Prado was wonderful. They communicated well and they were very patient, very knowledgeable, and very willing to help. The apartments were adequate. They were very clean and they seemed to be kept well. They have several activities. They have some residents involved in those activities, and they appear to cater to their interests. I briefly saw the dining area, and it was nice. The outdoor spaces were enclosed and were very nice, too. It was like a little garden area, but it was geared to safety so they could get out.

My tour of Madison Heights at the Prado was really good and I liked it. That's number one on my list right now. I liked their location and the facility was very clean. The staff was very knowledgeable and very nice. The rooms were a nice size and very clean. They seemed to have a wide variety of activities. They were eating lunch when I was there and it looked like a nutritious meal. The dining area was very nice and very clean. They had a patio area that my friend would love. It even had a little planting area.

I visited Madison Heights at the Prado. It seems like the employees were very engaged with the residents. I saw people watching TV and doing other things, and both the employees and the people seemed happy. The rooms looked average. The ones I saw were occupied and looked homey. Their dining area was very nice looking, it's like being in a restaurant with tables for four. I also saw their activities room. The lady that gave us the tour was very good and very kind.
disappointed with administration

Please read your contract. If you have any questions ask and make sure it is clear or get it in writing. They are not your friends they are there to make money. We had no issue with the staff they took care of mom and we feel they truly cared for her. Administration is the issue.

Brookdale Macon is great and the staff is also great. I'm very pleased with everything they do. The dining area and the food looks good, and my mother seems to like the food. They have a lot of different activities for the residents, they have a lot of music, arts and crafts, and stuff like that. The place has three different sections, and each one has their own large living room. My mother has TV in her room as well. The price is a little high, but you pay for what you get.

Flint River is really nice. It is a newer place, and everything is newer and nicer, but it is more expensive. The staff is good. The rooms are about the same size as the other facility, just newer. The only drawback to them is that they seem to have everybody together. The memory care people are mixed in with the assisted living people. It is not separated at all.

Flint River Memory Care was a great community. I got greeted right as my family and I walked into the community. We had a great tour of the community and the staff was introduced to us in detail. We actually got to know how the do all of the activities to enhance brain stimula for the residents. They cater to residents with Dementia or Alzheimers and have a very structured environment that has a secure door that residents cannot wander. This is very important to our family and this was a very difficult part in our family's life to have to move my father into a community . The staff amde us feel very comfortable and showed us the rooms open for move ins at this time. It was very spacious and clean , not what we expected in a assisted living community .The pricing on the rooms are a little pricey but we understand the care levels they provide would be worth the cost. They provide healthy meals 6 times a day and the care for my fathers incontinence issus. We are very pleased with our overall experience.
