If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Do not place your loved ones here. Your family member will not receive the care and attention that is needed. Its horrible and everyday I wish i hadn’t placed my loved one in this facility. The owner only cares about money. If you want your family member to live, do not place them there.

Do not put your loved ones in this facility! Do not fall for the fake love and kindness presented upon first visit. My loved one never received his meds correctly. One time my loved one fell and was in the floor for who knows how long! Thank goodness I came for a visit. The food is terrible and so is the nursing staff. The staff does not regularly check on patients. I would visit for hours and no one came in to see if any assistance was needed. Thank goodness my loved one was able to move before covid. I can only imagine the conditions at that time.

Summer's Landing Bayberry Trace was old and everything was just old. The person who gave the tour was fine, we didn't have a problem with the person who gave us a tour. We just the place itself. We went back the next week and brought my husband there to look and see what he thinks of it, and the person who was supposed to be there for us was not there. She didn't show up. We waited for over an hour for her to come in, but the lady that was in charge never showed up so we had to leave. The atmosphere wasn't that good, the people were sitting down and the people who were behind the desk didn't give greetings or anything. It was just not friendly. We saw the rooms, it wasn't as spacious as the one we saw at the other place, and everything we saw was also old. They told us they have activities like TV, movies, and exercise. On the outside, it looks fine.

My mom has been staying in Summer's Landing for one and a half years now. The cost is reasonable. The rooms are nice, and each has its own bathroom. They're pretty good and have a decent staff. I think they need to have more attendants to be better.
