I visited Autumn Village in Jackson. They don't have independent living, they start at assisted living, and then there's an Alzheimer's part. It's much smaller, it doesn't have independent living, it's a more standard looking one, and not as nicely landscaped as the other one I saw. They were more expensive too, it's $3,000 a month, and up to $5,000. They have nice people working there. I didn't go in a room because it was last year when I visited, COVID was hot and heavy, so they wouldn't let you see much other than the office. They said they didn't have anybody with COVID though, and I was impressed with the things they were doing in order for people not to get it. They have one small room for people to get together. The place is really meant for people who cannot take care of themselves. It's a very small community, they only have maybe 25 people. I've talked to two people with relatives who are there or have been there and they're very pleased with the place. It has a good customer referral.

This facility is beautiful and a lot better then described please take time to visit facility, I do know one thing if I EVER need a place to go to when its that time this is the place. Not only is the facility beautiful the staff is amazing and they are real and they treat you as family and not just a dollar sign. Thanks to the owner and the staff for having just a wonderful place for the people to call home and feel like a home.

I saw many of the residents at Autumn Village, and they went out of their way to say how much they love the place. They're happy there. It's all on one level and nice, and the rooms were close in size, and comparable in price with the others. It was close to my residence. They post the menus, and the activities on the bulletin board.

Autumn Village Assisted Living was a little more economical, but it was not the cleanest facility that I've seen. The rooms were reasonably clean, but it was old. It didn't appear new. The cafeteria was big and wide. It was okay. I talked to some people that were in the cafeteria and they seemed happy with it. The staff was very nice.

Autumn Village 3 is a community that caters towards more dementia. It is one big living center that has a flower garden area or sitting area outside. In the facility, they have a community dining area where everyone can come and eat, or they can take their meals to their rooms. They have private and semi-private rooms, or you can share a room. Because it is catered to dementia, there is always a care person that is with the client whether they go outside or are inside; they are always monitored by several different nurses that are there in the community. It's a very clean facility, and very nice, cordial people work there. In their private rooms, the client can bring some of their own personal things to their room like the chairs or bed if they want, to make it like their natural home. I was very pleased with the way they work with people with dementia. They watch after them and make sure that they don't go roaming.

I visited Autumn Village. The director was out of town, but she had someone else meet with me and took me around. The facility was clean, nice looking and the residents all seemed to be pleased. The rooms were not big, but they were adequate. Everything seemed good. I saw the dining area, and it looked OK, but I didn't see or taste any of the food. I didn't pick-up on a lot of the activities, but I knew there were a variety of activities.

Autumn Village is a small place and it's really clean. We chose this place for my dad because it's close to where I live. I think the facility needs to improve their food.

My father has lived here for 3 years. There has been very little turnover in the caregiver staff, which is a real positive. They do seek to go the extra mile in meeting the needs of their client/customers. I would like to see them to a better job in cutting down on the sodium content for the meals served, which keeps them from currently receiving 5 stars.

My grandmother was a resident at Autumn Village. I have only positive comments to share about this facility. The staff were always professional but caring and did thier jobs well, from the administration to the care givers to the cleaning crew. My grandma has alzheimers, as well as mobility difficulties. She needed assistance with personal hygeine, grooming and dressing. The staff made sure she was bathed, in fresh clothes, hair done and usually brought out to one of the sitting areas every day. If there were activities, the staff made sure they brought her to them. My visits were always unannounced and every time, my grandma was out of her room and being encouraged to participate. The ladies there took very good care of her. Beyond the personal care, the administration was always helpful and friendly, willing to answer questions or just chat a minute to let me know how Grandma was if I wasn't going to make it in for a few days. The facility iself was always clean and tidy and the grounds were well manicured. I only wish that Autumn Village also provided nursing home care as well. If they had, she would still be a resident there.
