My mom is at Resting Nest. It's like being at home. Most of the people who work there are family-oriented. They treat their residents like their grandmothers. They're good with people. They have a lady with dementia, and they know how to deal with dementia and make her feel good. My mom likes it there. They have all been nice to her. Whatever she needs, they do. It's all home-cooked food, and it's good. They have art classes. They have a pool out front. Everybody has their own room, bathroom, and TV. It's like having your own bedroom at home. There are people 24-7, around the clock. So if my mama wakes up in the middle of the night, they'll help her in her wheelchair, bring her out there, talk to her, and watch TV. The lady who owns the place has her living quarters in the basement, and she cooks the food. It's awesome. Compared to what I was having to pay when she was in a nursing facility for a little while, this place is a lot less than that.
