The people at Oaks at Hampton were nice. It was fairly old, but it was clean and everything. They had really good staff. That's what made me almost go there because they had hardly any turnover rate. They had trivia and movie nights. Their care with the prescriptions and all that, I liked the way they did it. It was also in a nice location.

I visited both assisted living and memory care at Oaks at Hampton. In the assisted living part, the halls were very small. It was kind of dark. It had the one-room. It was definitely not for our family. It was clean, and the staff members were very nice. I know the director of that place over there. I know her very well. She played piano for us at one of the church services that we did. I know her, so I have been to that place quite often as a tour. It was just not for my mother-in-law, and I was looking for a place that suited her. It's very nice and they got good activities. I have been in the activity room when they were doing puzzles and bingo. When that was going on, the activities were very good. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because there's long hallways, and they're dark. It wasn't very cheery.

We've done a tour at Oaks at Hampton for my mom. They actually gave us a tour of both assisted living and memory care. I loved it, it was very clean, and all the residents seem to be very happy. All of the staff members were very nice. The person who accommodated us was very helpful. The rooms were spacious, and I like that you can bring your own furniture and accommodations for them. They were eating breakfast when we toured, and it was very clean and nice. They have a beauty salon that does hair and manicures. They have a playground where your grandchildren can come and have a place to play, a garden area to sit in, a game room, and a TV room.

Oaks at Hampton was homey. It's a smaller facility than where Dad is now, it's more family-oriented, and probably more staff per-person from what I could tell. The rooms were fine, and the staff seemed kind. I only met the saleslady and one or two other people. The dining area was clean and nice. Everyone seemed happy, and they said they liked the food. They have places out back, and they said they have the bus that takes people places, but I didn't see it. The facility was very nice, but they're further from my house.

I have firsthand experience of Oaks at Hampton because I had friends who stayed there. The people were very nice, wonderful, and awesome. The facility is nice and it's newer, but it's dark inside, so it's just not the type of facility we were looking for. The rooms were also too small for what we needed. They had a nice dining area, and I love their activities director. The nurses and the aides were amazing as well.

The Oaks at Hampton was our first choice because there was a lot of activity when we got there. Everyone seemed happy and at ease, the atmosphere was lovely. There were a lot of lovely things but there was a waiting list. The dining area was also very nice and there were people out. We liked this place best because they seemed so happy, and we came unannounced with no appointments. The way they responded when my brother and I dropped in was really lovely, and we both walked away with a great feeling. Just 30 minutes of exposure during the tour was wonderful.

My father is at The Oaks at Hampton and it's been wonderful. The staff is good. He likes it there. The atmosphere is good. His room is very nice and adequate. He loves the food, and the dining area is very nice. I would highly recommend it. They have bingo, they have church inside the facility on Sundays, and they go out every Tuesday and Thursday.

I found the Oaks at Hampton to be really good for my mom. The staff members are very good. They have all kinds of activities for the seniors; they take them out shopping, and they have bingo and different more activities that they do. They can probably provide quicker assistance when needed.
