The floors are in need of repair and when asked about it, the owner used duct tape because it was too expensive to fix. There are no activities. They also threw away more than half my moms clothes because they didn’t want to have to wash them. Staff constantly complaining about being overworked and having to work doubles. Not enough staff to residents overnight (not evening meeting thr state requirements)

The Oaks at Fairmount was very nice because it was very clean. I spoke with Jody, she gets back to you right away. I think is very high on our consideration list. They're understanding about the process the family has got to go through. The rooms and dining area are very clean, quaint, and country style, which would fit my mother-in-law's personality perfectly. There's no odor. They have a nice like community room, a TV room, they have porches, and they encourage people to go outside and get fresh air. Families can come and visit on that porch as well. The COVID restrictions were in place, although my mother-in-law's been vaccinated and all. They have community activities, and they ask questions about what are the things that my mother-in-law likes; I said she likes country music so they'll have music.

We went to The Oaks at Fairmount. They were very nice people, but it's an older place set up like a nursing home. There was a TV room, and that's about it. The staff were all very helpful and very nice.

I visited The Oaks at Fairmount. It was really better than I expected, and that was pretty good. They do the meals and the laundry. This kind of COVID thing, it kinda limits it. There are a whole lot, and I'm only just in a little bit of area, so I really didn't see a whole lot. But they offered like, if I wanna do more virtually. We just got limited, but it was a very good limited visit. And they really covered out everything we needed to know in a short period of time. These are the one's we're considering. They're our first choice if it comes out that we can't handle it. Other than it being really small, it was really good. It's small, but cozy enough.

The Oaks at Fairmount was too small, but it was clean, everything seemed orderly, and the people were very nice. It would be good for some people, but it just wasn't for us. The layout was OK. The room was too small for our bedroom set. The dining area looked nice and clean. It was a place I would not mind eating if I was there, but it was small too. It's just a home that's been converted. The staff member was very nice to us, very helpful, and answered all my questions.

The Oaks at Fairmount was clean, and the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was a nice place and a nice experience. There was a big room where the residents were Wii bowling, and they were having a good time. They have private bedrooms and bedrooms with 2 people in it.
