My mother is in the memory care level at the Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. The experience has been great. The staff is very friendly. It is clean, and there are lots of activities to do. The only improvement they need would be the food. It is kinda bland, and most times that is what my mom is saying. There are good days and bad days, but they just need more variety. Her room is very nice. It has a nice window view of the courtyard area. It is very clean and comfortable. They bring in singers and entertainment stuff. They have some dogs that they bring in to interact with them. They go on outings to eat at restaurants or go to movies.

I did a tour of Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. I would describe it as modern because it's only a few years old. It's quiet and it's well-staffed. The person who gave me the tour is fabulous, Barbara is her name. When I first visited without my mom, she spent over an hour with me. When I brought my mom, we were there for almost two hours. It was a very thorough tour.

Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill was very nice and new. The apartment was very nicely decorated. It had an ice maker on the refrigerator, a full kitchen, and a garbage disposal. It was extremely nice. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very nice. They had a beauty shop, a computer room, a library, a puzzle room, and a craft room. While I was there, the residents were doing arts and crafts, some were painting, and some were doing puzzles. There was bingo going on and there was a movie being shown in the movie room.

We're thinking of going with Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill for my dad. First of all, the sales manager who toured us was extremely hospitable, very knowledgeable, and she can answer every single question I asked her. The staff greeted everyone. As soon as you walked by, they knew her and everyone was happy to see her and greeted her. And she introduced us to the staff, so it was a very nice rapport. The physical place itself is very, very nice, very bright and airy, and very clean. It's not run down at all. The staff is active, they all look like they're there doing their jobs, but also interacting with the residents. They don't just walk by them. While we were there, we saw the residents get ready for an activity and they were well kept and they seemed happy. We heard one of the activities directors playing the piano and getting ready for an activity, which was just very nice. They are 100 percent vaccinated, both staff and assisted living, which was huge to me. None of the other places could tell me that they had 100 percent compliance with vaccines. The dining room was open and airy, very nice and they had a very nice outdoor courtyard. It was very, very nice. There's a library with computer access for the residents to use, different areas, a movie room, and they had a salon. The room is smaller, but it still looks worth it for the feel. I didn't have to ask for anything; they gave me copies of the menu and the activities, while in the other places I visited, I had to ask. I saw their schedule of activities, which was good. My brother and I like to shop, and the bus is on the schedule for once or twice a week, and it goes to Kohl's, Publix, and Wal-Mart. So that's a good selection of shopping for him and that's a nice outlet for him, for sure. They just offered so much more for the same price, pretty much everyone has the same price. They don't have a big turnover of their staff and their staff is loyal, which is big. A lot of the places I'd ask about the staff turnover, and they were like, "You know, we're still trying to get staff." It has a different feel. I didn't taste the meal there, but their options were fantastic. Aside from having two specials for each meal, they have the side and there are always like 10 things that are always on the menu. And they don't use any canned products; they make things from scratch, which was fantastic.

We went to Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill twice. The first time we went, I would have rated them highly, but the second time we went, we didn't like it as much. We were interested in independent living, but the assisted living is excellent, and we were very impressed with their memory care. We were only interested in the cottages that they had, and they were pretty nice. We did not like the apartments at all. The staff was excellent; they were very good. Their food was also very good. The facility was nice, it was clean and relatively new, and the common areas were nice. It wasn't plush or palatial, but it was nice. They have overnight visits.

My aunt moved into Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. We chose it because they had a great special, and it is very close to my house. They are very helpful, well-staffed, and I like everything about it. It is a perfect choice for us. Everything has been great so far. It is hard because I can't get in there because of Covid, but I can still drop stuff off and she still communicates with me every day. So far, the staff has been great, and the food is more than enough and plentiful. We really have no issues. She is in a studio, which is a little small, but it was what we could afford, so that is where she had to go into. Pricewise, it was the best price also. The deal that we got was good for the size. The layout is small, but adequate. They have activities, but because of Covid, they are not doing that much. I have not eaten there, but she likes the food.

I chose Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill for my parents because of everything, and because of the people. In the meetings we had beforehand we got a real sense of care there that gave us peace of mind. It wasn't a one-size type of thing; they seemed to have the right situation for what my parents needed. So it just felt like the right place. The staff is top-notch, very caring, and they find the time to talk to you and customize your care. That's something we really appreciate.

We chose Arbor Terrace Hamilton Hill for my father. We saw it online during a virtual tour, and we also went there. It's an awesome place. They have independent living, assisted living, memory care, and Bridges. We sat in the conference room and talked. We saw the outside, but not the inside. The staff was fantastic. They offer three-course meals and snacks in between. They are the only place I know that offers not just assisted living and memory care, but they offer what is called Bridges, which is in between those two categories for people who are in between. They offer 24-hour around-the-clock care with their caregivers and a nurse on-site even on the weekends. It's a beautifully decorated facility. They have everything. They have physical therapy on-site and beautiful landscaping. It's very modern.

Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill is 5 years old, but it just opened the senior living part maybe a year and a half ago. I had a lot of friends who moved from my street there. It's got everything you could ever want, it's all brand-new, they put up shows, programs, and luncheons, and so we're very familiar with them. I've eaten several meals there, the food is excellent, and it's close to where I live. They had events where they had dancing and bands, they had all kinds of hors d'oeuvres, food, and wine. I felt right at home there, and the people seemed younger, even though they're old.

I'm living in Arbor Terrace. It's an excellent facility. The staff is outstanding, the food is excellent, and it's like a five-star hotel. The activities are more than you can count, and everybody has so many things available to them. It's just wonderful. There are so many activities and there are a variety of activities. It's a bit expensive. I would recommend them mainly because there is an outstanding support system here. Everyone looks out for everyone else, and it's very much like an extended family.

We toured the assisted living level of Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. It was very nice and was conveniently located. The person who accommodated us wasn't expecting us when we got there, even though an appointment was made. They were nice and spent time with us answering our questions. They were supposed to get back with us but we've never heard from them. We saw the dining area, dementia area, regular apartments, facilities, and exercise area. People would come in and do things like crafts with the residents. They also had a separate little café type area where people can congregate and have meals.

Arbor Terrace was huge, beautiful, they have different levels of care. It looked like a hotel. They were building more independent units. They have a restaurant, wellness program, and a place she can get her hair done. It was gorgeous.

Arbor Terrace at Hamilton Mill is a wonderful community. It has an upscale look and it has a very new atmosphere. The people are welcoming and friendly, not just the staff, but the residents as well. The food is delicious. They have a very nice physical therapy area. The salon is beautiful and pristine and the entire place is clean.

What we liked about Arbor Terrace at Hamilton Mill was they had three stages of living and three meals a day. There’s a doctor on call and another doctor across the parking lot who does a lot of work for them, so it’s very convenient. They had beautiful landscaped grounds and a section that was completely fenced in for the Alzheimer’s and memory care patients. They had another area for the assisted living people. They had a very nice dining area and a bistro area where people could read newspapers and have a little cup of coffee, fruit juice, or fruit snacks which was quite nice. This was a two-story facility with an elevator which could work for us, except we would prefer that our parents be on a first-floor level since my father-in-law sometimes wanders from the room.

Arbor Terrace at Hamilton Mill was beautiful and brand new. If my father was more physically active, it would've been great because they had a pool, putting greens, walking trails and bicycle trails. I would like to live there. The apartments were really small. The studio apartment was really just one room for $4,500 a month. It was way out of our price range.

Arbor Terrace at Hamilton Mill was very clean, very nice, and well kept up. The staff has been great. The lady I talked to was very helpful. They had a studio, which was a bedroom and a living room, but just 310 square feet -- too small and too much money.
