Towne Club Windermere is a fine facility. My father has friends there and there are many single men, so he has company. It's close to me, so the location is good. His room is very nice. The staff is attentive and caring, and they seem very kind all the time. They're not grumpy or anything like that. The dining area is nice. He enjoys the food, and he doesn't complain about it. With COVID, I haven't been able to go eat in there. They've done their best to keep them busy during COVID. They have games and movies and things like that for them. In the past, I know they've had musical groups come in to play for them. They have a bus that takes them shopping and takes them out and about. They used to be able to go on trips. With COVID, it's hard to say because so much has been shut down, but so far, he seems happy and well cared for. He's getting his medicine on time, and I don't hear complaints from him. I've never had a problem with the staff. Occasionally, it takes a little long for them to get the food, but once they get it, it's good. Everything always seems clean and well cared for. He seems happy with the activities.

I toured Towne Club Windermere. It was fine, but I just didn't feel it was the one that my husband and I would want. They were very nice and very friendly, and it was fine. It's just not what I was looking for. I was looking for something much bigger, and I was looking for a more balcony area, screen porch, and stuff like that. It didn't have any of that stuff to offer.

I would give Towne Club Windermere a five all the way around. That was my favorite place, but it is set up more like an apartment building. It's a tower and you had to get on an elevator, and Mom wasn't comfortable with that, but the rooms were fantastic. They were like regular-size apartments. They have a beautiful pool, a garden area, a movie room, a hair salon, and tour buses that would take you to the grocery stores and stuff. Any amenity that you could think of they had there. They did social hour; you come down in the main room and have appetizers and things like that. They go from independent living all the way to memory care. The staff during the tour was very, very attentive. She showed us several different sized rooms and she gave us the pricing. She made sure that we had all the meals. She let us taste the meals, which were very, very good. She took us around. She was very patient with Mom and Dad. We actually sat down around the pool with some of the people there, and we were able to talk to the residents there, ones that were in wheelchair and ones that were a little bit more independent. My concern then at that point in time was finding a place for both my Mom and Pop and Pop to be more active. The staff introduced Pop to some of the guys there that still play golf and things like that, so he really felt comfortable there. It was Mom that was not at the time, that's why we didn't do so. We actually were there three times and we signed a contract with them twice. Mom just didn't think she could do that elevator. She didn't feel comfortable with it.

I passed by Towne Club Windermere while traveling before, many years ago, and it's very close to my family. I toured their independent living, last Monday, and it has a lot of activities and variety to help seniors. I also like that they have a garden, a pool, and just things to keep me active. I don't want to just sit around. They were very gracious and informative. Everything looked clean, neat, and organized. The people that I saw there in their activities looked happy. Their signages were geared to elderly vision too, which was very helpful. Just touring around, I didn't meet with a lot of staff but the ones I passed by were very friendly. They're clean, spacious and with lots of storage places. I was very impressed.

I am a resident here. The owner is a bully. I didn’t get house keeping fir 5 weeks because he lied and said no one was available. I the food here is terrible snd I have to order meals delivered every week because they will not follow my doctors orders to cook healthy meals for me. This week the meals were delivered snd the concierge “forgot” to notify me and they put the box in the back snd the food went bad. It was over $100 worth of measly. When I brought it to his attention he responded “I am not running a hotel god you” and refused to pay for the loss due to his neglectful employee!

My mom moved into the Towne Club Windermere. I've gotten to know the staff pretty well, it's very professional. Every person I've met has just gone out of the way to be able to help. If you're looking for independent living, this place is truly like an apartment, it's an amazing place. The craftsmanship is very good, they have granite countertops, really nice cabinets, it's just like a kitchen you would see in a normal apartment, good hardwood floors, the layout plan is good, the view is on the inside over the pool, and it just feels like you're at a resort hotel. It's a cross between a resort hotel and a country club. They have a really nice salon, a good fitness area, the movie area is really nice, it's a big room, big screens, and they have a lot of activities in that room, whether games, or classes, or bingo. Classes include yoga or chair exercises. The grounds are very well-manicured, it's a very quiet place. The view that my mother has on the back end overlooks a big pool with palm trees, overlooks a wooded area that's got some walking trails. It feels very upscale. The rooms in the assisted living are nice, but they are definitely smaller. At some point in the future she'll transition to assisted living, and when she does, those are also nice. They offer shuttle service, and they have two doctors that have their PA, and offer that service as well, and three meals a day. I've eaten there several times and the kitchen does a good job on the menus.

We chose Towne Club Windermere. What they did was they took a ground floor apartment and turned it into an office, and that office is a regular apartment. That's the same apartment that we're renting, and there are four stories above it. They have a library, a pool, and an exercise or workout room. The staff is very accommodating.

My mother is living in memory care at Towne Club Windermere. The staff is well trained and empathetic to not only my mother and her needs but to how we feel. This is a difficult journey, but the care and quality of life they have provided to my mother has made a huge difference. She enjoys activities in memory care like, music, dancing, Zumba, gardening and they take her to the salon in Towne Center to get her hair done. She doesn't eat the food that she used to enjoy, but they are creative in planning her meals to help make sure that she gets her nutrition. I really can't say everything but i will say that if you are waiting for a loved one to have a major life episode before seeking help, please don't. They won't stay mad at you and you will have peace of mind knowing that they are safe.

I have been on the mailing list for about a year and I have visited the community. The tour director was extremely knowledgeable about the units, prices and amenities. I especially liked the pool and the cleanliness of the common areas. The grounds are impeccably maintained. During the visit, the Director of the community happened to be in the area and joined us. It was very nice to have the director available to answer questions and represent the details of the community with confidence. I was pleasantly surprised that the community has a van that is available for events if I choose not to drive. The residents were so vibrant, I did not feel like I was visiting a senior home.

We had a great tour at Towne Club. The lady that gave us the tour was fantastic and introduced us to the nursing facility. It's a brand new place; they opened July of last year, but the company that owns it has been in the business for about 50 years. The place was fantastic, and the price was reasonable. They have all levels of care. The room was fantastic, but my wife couldn't stand on her own when being transferred, and their license doesn't allow them to take patients that can't stand on their own.
