My father moved into Savannah Grand of Columbus two weeks ago. It's been great and it's a very nice place. I like that they have their doctor on-site. They have some nurses there and they are very friendly. They have a cable, phone, and nice food. The facility is just awesome. They also have bingo activities, movies, and a other games to play.

Savannah Grand of Columbus was clean. I actually talked to some of the residents, and they seemed happy with the place. The room I looked at wasn't as big as I thought. As far as the price range, it was the cheapest of the three places that I looked at. Their one-bedroom was a little bit smaller, but they offered pretty much the same amenities as the other ones. It was clean, and it had a bathroom and a little kitchenette. They had the salon that you could book an appointment at for an extra fee. The dining room was pretty good size and had a lot of tables. It would be a nice place to live. All the staff members that I met were friendly. It was a well-maintained place.

We didn't have the standard formal tour at Savannah Grand of Columbus because that got messed up. They didn't have much in the way of exercise rooms that we saw, their facility was much smaller than the others we toured. They only have like 60 people. But it was very nice. It's just kind of dated in terms of the carpets and the rooms were small. Their 1-bedroom room was about the size of most places' little studio. The one lady that we met there, let us go to one of the residents, which I'm sure does a lot of marketing for them because she was good at it. She let us look at her room, and she sat mom down and talked to her quite a bit. They had a lot of things in common and she was very good, very effective from that standpoint, but she wasn't part of the formal staff. The place was clean, everything was nicely done and there were some out walking around to get out of their rooms and sitting in the couches. They seem to like it.

The lady who took us on the tour at Savannah Grand was very busy. She was multitasking, so it was hard for her to stay focused on what she was showing us. A lot of the information she was giving us was different from what her boss said. So, that was confusing. The outside area was not closed in, so my friend could just walk away from the place if he wanted to, and that was not good. As soon as you opened the door in the memory care unit, it just reeked of urine. I didn't see any spills or anything on the floor, but there was just that overwhelming smell. We went into a studio and it was nicely laid out. They had dressers, sofas, beds, closets, and a bathroom. They also have an activities room. When we were there, everyone was downstairs where they had different vendors and people in, and they were all sitting around enjoying themselves.

Savannah Grand of Columbus was a nice community. The only thing is even though I may pay the $3,000 a month, I still got to pay additional money for whatever type of care mom may need. It is two stories and a little bit older, but it's still nice. I would still have my mom stay there. Everything was there, but it's kind of tight. The staff was excellent and on the younger side than I expected, but they're knowledgeable, seemed to be caring, and committed to doing what they're doing. They love what they're doing. It was a small facility, but if that was the only choice that I had and if I qualify for it, I would love to be there. The upkeep was good. The location is right off the highway, so it's easy access. You get off of 185 on Wiliams Road.

Savannah Grand of Columbus was very nice and everything seemed to be fine. We saw areas where people could have a good time and play cards. They had a basic dining area which seemed cozy. The person who interviewed us was very pleasant and nice. The amenities seemed to be fine. Their rooms were really good, nice, and adequate for what's needed in assisted living. It seemed like a nice environment.

Six months ago the facility was wonderful, good staff, clean facility, great food. In the past six months the facility has really gone down hill, the service to residents is poor, food quality is poor, facility is not clean and most rooms are not cleaned daily. Carpet is just nasty. The staff is not engaging with the residents, there is little to no activities for residents, When you walk in its more like a nursing home, is so quite and no excitement at all about anything. Residents are very board and complain about this all the time. The staff attitudes are poor and they complain about how much work they have to do and how they are under staffed all the time. The facility is less than half full many empty rooms and its just not a good atmosphere anymore like it was six months ago. They have a 5% price increase every year at your move in anniversary date, that's just ridiculous considering the service is poor and the quality is going down. There will be 2 price increases each year one is for the level of care and the other is for the rent. Basic room and level of care is well over 3,000.00 a month and each year it will increase. Not a good choice and certainly not good money investment for the quality you receive. Poor management, lack of leadership, no facility improvements of any kind , unable to keep staff, poor food quality and quantity. So very disappointed in the direction this facility is headed as it was once a really good place and the residents were happy. May residents families have made complaints to the corporate office and it falls on deaf ears and they choose to do nothing about it. This facility has so much potential and opportunity to be one of the premier facilities in our area but it just not cared for or about.

I visited Savannah Grand of Columbus. They did not offer the extended care that my mom needed now, but I fell in love with that place. It was a very nice place. The staff seemed to be caring. Even though they did not know who I was, they talked to me. The lady that did the tour was very helpful and called me several times to check on Mom. I was just very pleased with the facility and staff. The location was convenient, and the grounds were beautiful. It had a serene atmosphere. The rooms were adequate, and it felt homey, like a small community. They all knew each other. If she gets better, that's where I would want her to go.

Savannah Grand of Columbus was a nice facility, but the staff wasn’t too friendly and welcoming. Their rooms and apartments were average size, and the dining area was very small. They had activities for them. There was a smell as soon as you walked in and a lot of elderly residents.

Savannah Grand of Columbus was a nice-looking, clean place, but to me, it had a cold feeling, like a hospice. The staff did a great job showing the place. I saw a library room and a kitchen area where the residents could cook if they want to. My impression was that it looked like the residents do not enjoy living there, but the facility, the area, and all that looked right.

I liked Savannah Grand of Columbus. The lady was very attentive and tried to answer all of our questions. Everything was always clean. I was impressed with how neat and clean everybody was. However, the rooms were way too small. There was no way that I would be happy with just one room like that. This was the only one that I would consider. However, it was too expensive for me.

I liked Savannah Grand of Columbus a lot. The staff was great and very friendly. The facility is great, but the cost is on the higher end. If my parents could afford that place, I would recommend it to them. I think the rooms were bigger than in most places I've seen. They always have some kind of activity going on. It's a really nice facility and probably the best one in town.

We were impressed with the cleanliness, the staff being friendly, and the residents being happy at Savannah Grand of Columbus. They have what they call the double room; which has two full-bathrooms, a large bedroom, and a small area for eating. Then you get your area for your TV, and sitting with a little kitchenette. The food is great. My father has been there for two weeks now. They have get togethers. They go to the churches, sing, and church choirs come to them. They go out to the malls. They have a movie day, and they have checker tournaments for the gentlemen. They have an exercise room, and a beauty shop to get their nails, and hair done. They have a raised-bed garden outside where they can go plant vegetables or whatever they like. However, when the people are sick, and they can't make it down to the cafeteria; they charge $5 a day to bring your three meals up to your room.
