We moved my mother to Oaks at Maple Ridge. We like the location and the facility itself. We like the staff that we met there. We liked everything about it. We had a meal there and it was delicious. They had pot roast, potatoes, and carrots. We had desserts, rolls, and drinks. With regard to activities, they do just about everything. They have all different types of bingo, games, exercise, and arts.

My mom moved into the Oaks at Maple Ridge. None of the other ones were acceptable. They were so expensive, or they did not offer an acceptable level of care. I liked the activities that they do with the seniors. They were playing balloon tennis one day in the lobby. They have parties for their residents. I think they take very good care of their citizens there, physically and mentally. The employees are fantastic. They don't have a swimming pool. They do have very nice patios for the residents to sit on. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy onsite. There's a salon. There's a common area where they can gather and watch movies if they prefer, and there's access to that in their room as well. They have art. My mom doesn't like the food. It's cold. I think they could use more staff, they need more people.

We went to the Oaks at Maple Ridge. It was on par with the other place. It was another nice facility. It was a little bit smaller, and it was a little less modern, but it was still nice. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have very nice rooms. They said they would watch movies and do arts and crafts. It's a nice neighborhood. They have a nice variety of different meals.

I've been here a couple of years ago. I visited somebody from my church who stayed there. It was an acceptable place to go, but they're revamping. I visited this one person a few times, so I didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff. It's a nice area where I would be comfortable with my in-laws being there.

My mother moved in four weeks ago. Prior to her moving, I had some food there, and it was OK. They have three meals a day. We picked it because it was one level and small. My mother is 92 years old and showing signs of dementia, so it was a plus for us that it was small and one level because she has trouble finding her room. If it was multi-level, it would have been too much for her. They don't have nurses on staff 24 hours a day.

It is a beautiful place, very nice and very clean. Mom is able to join the activities. They have church, singing, music, Bingo, they celebrate holidays, and they have exercise classes.
