My good friend Martha lived here for several years and before that lived across the street. She was so well liked by her neighbors that we would visit weekly. Having been concerned about moving to an assisted living we were so surprised to see how lovely the community was and how happy Martha became. I will be honest I was asked to write this review, but was more than happy to oblige. I feel Arbor Terrace Crabapple is an asset to our neighborhood. Many of my neighbors have now moved in since Martha and all have seemed happy. When we visit we love to sit outside in the courtyard to chat or partake in happy hour. What has surprised me most about assisted living is the staff. They all seem so nice and friendly. Making our visit even more enjoyable. You have these ideas that assisted living can be scary, but really it's like living in an upscale hotel. I'm actually looking forward to when it's my turn.

Arbor Terrace at Crabapple was a good facility if you pretty much can manage your own needs and be independent, but if you need more help with personal needs and more care, then I don't think it's a good fit. I didn't feel my dad's needs were being met. Some of the CNAs were nice, but most of the time it was a different person and nobody knew exactly what dad needed. Other than that, the grounds were beautiful. The food was not the tastiest stuff, but it was pretty. There's variety and they try to look for ways to improve the food. They also offered a lot of activities, such as art, music, bingo, and taking people off-site to different places like shopping (they have a bus for transportation).

Wow! Words I use to describe Arbor Terrace at Crabapple are friendly, cozy, warm and inviting. Everyone I asked when I toured how they liked living there was enthusiastic and seemed to really love their home. Most impressed by the size of the apartments. They offer 1 bedroom and studio apartments. Very spacious and full fridge/freezer, huge plus! Also, the bathrooms are a nice size and have plenty of storage. The other amenity we liked was the central location for all the activities. No apartment seemed to be located super far from the action. I met the Executive director who was very friendly and personable. She seemed to really care about our needs and could answer all of our questions. Ann was a great asset and made us feel at home. Arbor terrace crabapple is definitely a contender!

My whole family was so appreciative to the staff of Arbor Terrace Crabapple for the care of our mother. She lived there for over 4 years and was always treated with compassion, love, and kindness. They treated her like family. They even attended her funeral. I would like to say that besides the team the activities and food were the highlights of her stay there. They created a restaurant-style dining room with many options, so if she didn't like the main entrees she could choose a cheeseburger, fruit plate, hot dog, sandwich... you name it! On top of that, they allowed her to come any time to eat, so if she wanted to sleep in and have breakfast at 10am she could. Being a late sleeper this was a HUGE thing to her. The activities were the other selling point for her and our family. Prior to moving in, she lived alone and after losing her driving abilities her social life really diminished. At Arbor Terrace she made friends, participated in bingo, cards, art class, exercise... She really blossomed. It was always such a pleasure to visit and see her actively participating.

Arbor Terrace at Crabapple was the place I wanted for my parents. It was established and very clean. The rooms were generously sized. They had a one-bedroom suite, called the orchard suite, and I loved the layout. It was almost 500 square feet with one-bedroom and a living room. The dining hall was full. I thought it would be a good social environment. Also, they had been there a long time and I really liked them. They were very accommodating and the experience level was there. I didn't see anything wrong, except for old carpet. I would recommend them to a friend.

Arbor Terrace at Crabapple was excellent, and the rooms were very nice as well. It's a really nice facility. They have very engaging activities and they have a wonderful staff for memory care. They have gardens for the residents and courtyards. It was a beautiful building, and the grounds are nice. It's a very nice community, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I gathered Arbor Terrace was a pretty nice place from other people. It was not too far from our house. They have a nice outside area where they can go, and they go on bus trips. They seem to keep it up very well, and she seems to like the food. The rooms are a pretty good size.

My wife is in Arbor Terrace at Crabapple. I have been having issues with some minor things, but overall it is a very nice place. It is a facility that we found is probably one of the better ones around here. It has a hotel-looking environment and dining room, but in a different category, so assisted living is an adjacent wing, and they have apartments that have single rooms and double rooms whatever someone would expect or afford to pay. They have quite a few activities published in a calendar, and every day something is listed in there for the different sections. I don't know exactly what their ratio of nurses or caretakers to patients is, but it seems they have more patients and they need a few more staff.

While I was there i feel like everyone did an excellent job providing care to the residents on physical, emotional, and cognative level. the facility provided an abundant range of social activities for the residents. My only complaint would be that the staff in the memory care unit should have better understanding of dementia it different cognative lelvels. I feel that this would enable them to provide better care to teh residents.

A group of friends and I recently went to this facility to sing Christmas carols for the seniors living there. It was a real blessing. I had never been in many nursing homes before and this one surprised me. The seniors there had such camaraderie and seemed to love each other as close friends, rather than be in their rooms watching tv. The activities put in place by the staff really bring the life out of the patients staying there and the food they served us while we were there was excellent, not what I expected. The chief nurse showed us around the facility to tell us where the seniors eat, get medical attention, and where they exercise. Most of the facility is very modern and up-to-date and very new, not very old looking at all. If had to refer someone to a nursing home in the Alpharetta area, this one would be the first place I would mention. The staff was top notch and I had so much fun in my time there with the seniors.
