We are impressed by The Capstone at Royal Palm on a whole. It is within close proximity to where my sister is living. My sister would be able to go and visit and help my mother get established down there, so it's mostly proximity to a relative's location. Everything is nice. You have a nice one-bedroom with a separate living area and a kitchenette. It is a nice-sized space. I forget the actual square footage, but it is very adequate. It has nice sunlight. It overlooks a garden outside. They post a monthly schedule of activities on each day, and they have trips off the grounds and everything else, so that's what we really wanted for my mom, because she had been living alone, and we wanted a little more socialization for her, and it seems like they have all that. Every staff member we met was very nice and they seemed concerned. I haven't eaten there, but when I speak to my mother, she says she's enjoying the food, so that's saying she's happy there. As for the condition of the facility, it's very clean and neat. Everything is relatively new. It's a very good price.

I’m a Case Manager/Guardian for my client for the past 2 1/2 yrs. I recently transferred my client to Capstone’s Memory Care. For the first time in over a year he is not complaining of being bored or the food. The first week he went on a bus with the group. If you knew My client, you would know how unusual that is for him. He actually enjoyed himself. I couldn’t be happier with this facility, the staff and the fact that I don’t have to worry about his safety or his care. Thank you Capstone!!

Choosing the perfect assisted living facility for your mother, is one of the most difficult tasks a child can face. After visiting CAPSTONE, I knew we had a great fit! It's been a year that my mom has been a resident at CAPSTONE and I have never regretted my decision. The staff continues to be welcoming, competent and caring. LaSondra has been a total gem from day one! She is always bright, cheery, encouraging and always eager to help in any way. The entire staff has made this transition just a little easier.

It was very nice. All the people that worked there were very courteous. The room that they showed us that my mom would be staying in was very good. They treated us to lunch there, and their menu was very varied. I think my mom would have probably been alright to stay there if we decided. They showed us two rooms that we had a choice of. One had a door out to the outside and the other one was like an inside room. They were very spacious. The bathroom was large, there was a walk-in shower, they had a small refrigerator and a microwave, and it was all carpeted. They were very nice. As far as the activities, they seemed to have a lot of things for the people to do. We didn't get a chance to see any of them because it was lunchtime, but I could see some people were getting ready to partake in some activities.

I only got to speak to the person giving me the tour here. Her name was Christina, and she was very helpful, informative, and friendly. I looked at a small apartment and then a slightly bigger one, which was a midrange, and it was definitely nice, spacious, brand new, and seemed well designed. My dad likes to swim and they said that they were talking to a local YMCA and wanted to set it up so that residents could go on regular outings and take advantage of their facilities. The dining area was also very nice and very spacious. It was sort of broken up into a large area and then some smaller areas, so it doesn't feel like a cafeteria, but instead a more friendly feel to it. The menu definitely looked fancy.

Staff is highly attentive, caring and enjoy their job! Good is amazing and not limiting - it makes my family member WANT to eat! Rooms are beautiful and nothing is crowded in!
