My sister is residing here. She is in this community because they seem to take good care of everybody. This place is good and wonderful. The staff is always helpful. I couldn't say enough good things about them. They do a great job of looking after people. The rooms are really nice. The first time I visited there, I thought I wanted to sleep in the bedroom. I also think that the food is excellent! They do have a lot of activities there. They have activities for some people who would like to paint. They also have a wood shop, and sometimes they go out for an excursion. I am impressed that the place seems very secured. In general, I am happy with what they provide to my sister.

What I liked was it's a smaller community, so my husband will get little better care there. He's only been there for four days. Today, they had a meet and greet activity that takes place every Thursday at 3:00, where they have snacks, wine and cheese, and sodas. They have bingo, card activities, exercise activities, and music playing a couple of times a week. They show movies, and they meet with the chef of the kitchen once a week. An activity director met with my husband today and spent a good hour with him talking about his interests and his past so that she could connect him to someone else. He has been to a couple of different tables in the dining room, and they're trying to find a good mix for him. They serve three hot meals a day with a nice array of choices -- usually five entrees. He has already had his laundry done. He seems happy there. Some of the therapists are attractive women, and he likes that. It takes me less than 3 miles, and I can get there on a bicycle, a golf cart, or a car.

My friend lived in Homewood. It’s very beautiful and we don’t particularly like some of the policies. The rooms have plenty of space. It is enough for a single person. Security seemed to be fine.

Several people had recommended them to me. They said it was the best of the best in Sun City and we were very impressed. The director who gave us the tour was great. She knew the patients by name. The facility was clean -- we didn’t eat there, but it was clean. It seemed liked they had a lot of activities. I have nothing bad to say about it from what I saw. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and friendly to the people who were living there. We only saw an one unoccupied room that we were interested in, but it was certainly clean and bright. They have several different sized rooms, suites or even apartments available. They had a variety to choose from. We did not eat there, but we sat in the dining room and it was beautiful -- they had linen table cloths. She showed us some sample menus -- it all looks very nice. I just like the fact that it seemed like they had a lot of activities. When we were walking around, they were doing chair yoga class. She showed us the whole activity chart for the month. They had the different levels of care so that as a resident's condition progressed, they would get more care. Residents could stay in the same facility, but maybe in a different section with the higher level of care that is needed. The facility was very clean. There was no smell; it was newer and had a very elegant environment. Based on what I saw, I would recommend this facility.

It has just been remodeled it. It's just excellent! Within it, there is the locked alzheimers building. I have been there and it's very nice. The serve the needs of the alzheimers patients. It's very bright, airy and comfortable. I was totally impressed by the place.
