My mom is a resident of Cypress Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care. The facility is very clean. They have lots of activities. The aides, doctors, and nurses are very caring. It's in a good location. There's a courtyard. They have a beautician who will come and cut their hair.

Cypress Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care was pleasant. It felt better than the other place I visited. If we were going to do something I would have preferred my dad to go there just because the rooms that they showed us seemed something that we are looking for. It's like a small apartment and that's kind of what we were thinking about. We toured their assisted living and the person who assisted us, Susan, showed us a variety of three different rooms. She was great, very helpful, very knowledgeable, and not forceful. She was just giving information and answering questions. I looked at their calendar of activities. I didn't pay close attention, but they had lots of activities daily. They provide 3 meals a day plus snacks but we didn't try anything.

Do NOT trust this facility with your loved one if they need full care. My father passed away due to neglect and not being properly cared for. He had horrible bed sores and was in complete organ failure once he was finally taken to the hospital. Not the sunshine and rainbows they want you to think.

I went to Cypress Creek Assisted Living. They were very easy to work with. The administrator was very compassionate and seemed to have a really great understanding of what the finances were. They were the most personable place that I toured and the most individually tailored to people's needs. Their facilities were very clean, and they had a very personal touch. I'm not very familiar with the staff there. I was familiar with the administration, and she seemed very familiar with the residents. The rooms were very nice, but they didn't have any rooms for couples. They only had single-occupancy rooms. It was pretty new, so it looked very nice. The location was not ideal. It was farther away from all the shopping areas. They didn't have golf-cart accessibility, which is very important to my folks.

The setting from the outside of Cypress Creek Assisted Living was very nice, but the facility itself was old. The exterior had a beautiful facade, but the interior was very dated. Their respite care was a 30-day minimum with absolutely no visitors, that's why I turned them down for respite care. It was very institutional. Every unit was a separate locked down unit. Every corridor had a locked door. Literally from the moment you left the lobby, you were in a locked down unit. I'm like, "Is every one of these corridors for memory care?" I hated it. My mother would hate it right away as well. The furniture was very old and dated and for respite care, they provided literally nothing. I'm like, "How can you say you're gonna give me respite care when you have a bed and whatever chair and whatever table you can find wherever in the facility?" I was truly devastated. They don't even give you a TV or even a dresser to put your clothes in. Their respite would've been in a joint room or dual occupancy room. It was a very institutional setting. They were $175 a day with a 30-day minimum and I only need 10 days. The staff was very nice, but the setting was a turnoff from the moment you left the lobby. Their whole situation was, everybody's locked in their corridor and locked in their room. It was literally like a corridor of rooms and they're stuck in square boxes. The only one plus I saw was it had an inner courtyard, but the bad part was you enter through the locked corridor. You had a backdoor to go into the courtyard, but you could literally walk into somebody else's room. It only had one picnic table under a covering and that was it for outdoors. It was awful. I looked at it for respite care, but it looked more like a skilled nursing facility.

My dad has moved into Cypress Creek. He has been doing good; he is doing very well. My grandmother was there and I remembered that she had great care and she really liked it there, so I went with that. They're family oriented and they're very good about following up on all details. Because of the COVID I have not been able to be inside. There's still a restriction here, so I have not been inside. I just know what it was when my grandmother was in there. It looked like it was very well kept outside and they had been very cautious about visitors and being protective of the residents' safety. The staff members have gone above and beyond from my point of view. They have been really great just making sure that the residents feel safe and secure. At first my dad wouldn't participate in activities at all, but he is now, so I feel that they have found a way to be able to encourage him to be part of the community there. I think the value for money is right in line with others that I checked beforehand, so I don't find that it's unreasonable at all. They're doing great.

My mom has been in Cypress Creek for a few months now. It is a very nice community. Her room is very nice. The price is right for everything that they offer. They serve food and they cook the food there. There's all sort of amenities that they do. They have games, they have people that come in and entertain, they have a shuttle that takes the elderly shopping, and they take the residents out on excursions, out to lunch, and out to dinner. It's the best bang for your buck. For everything that it offered, it was the best price that I found.

My mother is at Cypress Creek. So far, it is going well. One thing I like about it is how it is set up in a way that is in-tune to my mother’s care needs. It is homey and friendly.

Cypress Creek was a bit high in price. The more assistance you needed, the more expensive it was. There was no one for me to talk to because they forgot I was coming, so they just pulled somebody off the floor and had them gave me a quick tour. They offered bus rides for the residents. I saw the residents in a craft room and playing cards in the other room. Their grounds were small but clean and nicely landscaped. They had two or three different dining rooms, but they were very small. One of them was for people that were independent and another one was if they needed assistance.

We went to Cypress Creek. It's nice but expensive. They did say they would negotiate on some of the prices, though. They had a lot of activities. The facility and rooms were very clean and nice. The single rooms were very spacious. The staff members were very nice and knowledgeable about the community. All of the patients that I saw were clean and neat. No one was just sitting in wheelchairs not being talked to about something. It was very nice.

Cypress Creek was very beautiful, very clean, brand new, and had only one floor. It was like a fine first-class hotel. They were quite active with card playing and exercise. The rooms were very plain, but everybody furnishes their own. The common area was gorgeous, and there were beautiful sitting areas and patios, too.

My wife is in the assisted living community at Cypress Creek. The staff is great. They are very helpful. My wife is in a private room. It is beautiful, spacious, and adequate. The food is good. They have activities like bingo, dancing, movies, popcorn, and outings. They have different activities every day. They have outings and tours. I will absolutely refer it to others. The fact that they have different neighborhoods for people with different levels of care stands out to me.

My dad was in Cypress Creek for about three years. It was a good place, and I had no problems with them. It’s a nice place, and they set them well. They did their best to entertain, but it’s a bunch of old people sitting and looking at a television 24hrs a day.

My 93-year-old mother has been a part of the Cypress Creek ALF since July 2013. She calls it her home and other residents and staff her big family. It is great to know that she is receiving so much care, love, and compassion 2 hours per day.

We visited Cypress Creek, and it was fine. The rooms were small and looked like a nursing home. However, that might the direction that I would go.

I think this place is great for seniors that can mostly still take care of them selves but need help with some things. My grandmother seemed very happy with the way they treated her and her living conditions. Her condo/room was very nice kind of like a hotel and she really liked this saying it felt like she was on vacation 24/7 I am very close with my grandmother and I only want the best for her, she has been very happy with her stay. but I would still tell anyone that they should keep a close eye on were they put there loved ones and check in with them at least once a week because different people need different care but for my grandmas situation she is loving staying there and she has made a lot of friend I am very happy with their service because she seems very happy and I really love my grandmother.
