My brother moved to Baytree Lakeside. The facility is an older building. It needs work. He has a private room and he is on Medicaid. It's not huge, but it's his own room by himself. He likes it because it's quiet. The food is good and the staff is very nice. He even went to play bingo, which he'd never done before. So he went on some social things which we were surprised at. The staff seemed very friendly and very caring, understanding of any problems, and they got them solved. The facility appears to be very clean. We did see people singing and somebody playing a musical instrument. They went outside when there was a parade going by one time. They have activities two or three times a month.

Baytree Lakeside is fabulous. The nursing staff and the management are very attentive. They helped me move in. They took their own vans and employees, pickup trucks, and moved all my furniture, put me in my room, and got me over here. I'm very content right here. They have a beautiful walking path. There are lots of trees and they are beautifully landscaped. I do a long circle walk in the woods outside and there's a lake surrounding the place. I can't fish there because there are fences up, but I usually fish elsewhere anyway, closer to the beach, which is not too far away. People say the food is OK. The facility is very good. I have a housekeeper come in every day and mop the floor and make sure that everything is clean and the bathroom is clean. They kind of leave you alone for a while when you first get here to get settled in. So, I have not partaken in any activities yet, but they have a bulletin board and when I walk through the main activity room, it's always full of residents doing different things. I also know they had a magic show yesterday with a magician. It's a very good value.

I had an in-person tour of Baytree Lakeside. It was nice. They have an activities manager that provides them with a lot of things to do. It's a locked facility. They kept memory care and assisted living people together, so they weren't separated. So I thought that was nice. The rooms were not as big as the other facility, but they're a decent size. I just met with one person, and she was nice. It seemed homey and comfortable. The residents seemed nice and happy.

My brother is in Baytree Lakeside. We picked it because it's close by and it's affordable. So far, it's satisfactory. They feed them in the morning. They have two different times for breakfast and two different times for lunch. They have a smoking area outside, and he goes to that. He spends most of his time outside and he seems satisfied so far with it. He's happy here. He is a heavy smoker and sometimes he runs out of cigarettes, but they don't check with him to see if he needs any cigarettes. He's not always offered cigarettes when he's out of cigarettes, and he doesn't know enough to ask for them, so he ends up bumming them. Other than that, I don't see any real problems over there. I'd like to see fans outside so that they could keep cool, because they're spending most of their day outside. There are no fans anywhere. Other than that, it's good. I know they have bingo and other board games, but he is not interested in that. He just sits outside to smoke. Price is reasonable. It's a lot cheaper than a lot of other places.

This facility has really changed in just a years time. My grandmother has been there for 9 months and the staff has changed their is a caring dedicated staff it's immaculately clean and the courtyard is beautiful. My grandmother says they take very good care of her. She loves it there. Keep up the good work.

I recently had to accept I no longer could take care of my husband who has dementia. The reason I chose BayTree Lakeside was first and foremost its location for me, but I'm glad I picked this facility. I have encountered nothing but kind understandiing and helpful people among the staff there. The food is exceptionally good and nutritious and the kitchen is VERY clean. I like the variety of entertainment provided for the residents, the games the patients are given a chance to participate in and the meaningful and personal Christian services they offer. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, not to mention the beautiful garden I enjoy taking walks in with my husband.. Considering that nobody WANTS to give up the care for a loved one, the caring people there DO understand the emotions you struggle with in giving up what you never thought you'd have to do. Aging is not pleasant, but at BayTree they try their best to MAKE it pleasant. I put off my decision to place my husband in a care facility because I thought I would be immensely bored visiting him. The opposite is true, I see many of the people working there as friends by now, as well as some very dear patients who I enjoy talking to.

Put my husband there 11 months they knew when I put him there that he had dementia they did not take care of him they did not clean him his room was disgusting the blinds are broken it is a deplorable place to be I would not recommend putting a loved one in this facility if you really care about your family or I should say loved one

My mother has been placed at Baytree Lakeside. It is definitely affordable. I really like the fact that there are a lot of outside areas with a big walking area around the lake and birds. My mother can have memory care there, but she still has a little bit of freedom; that’s why I picked this facility. The dining room is set up very nicely with many windows. You can actually go inside and outside from the dining room. My mother seems to get along with a lot of people. She still has her dementia problem, but otherwise, the staff is really nice.

Horrible place.. Residents are at the mercy of the staff. My Aunt fell and broke her wrist, was taken to the local ER, was treated, and no one answered the phone, or was available to let her in the building after hours. It was a scarey time for both resident and family, They also control residets finances, not in the residents favor but to their benefit.

I chose Baytree Lakeside because it is small and clean. The personnel there are also very caring. There was also the price factor too. It is all inclusive; I don't have to pay ala carte. My sister is in the main building. She has a room there that she shares with another person. They share a large room and a bathroom. Every room is pretty much the same. I do know they have another building for a little more ambulatory and independent living. As far as food, from what I could gather from my sister, everything seems to be very good and very well balanced. She has three great meals a day and a snack. They also have snacks at social hour. For activities, they have the usual bingo and crafts. They also have movie nights and barbecues outside by the lake. They also have entertainment coming in that would sing or play the piano.
