My dad is here and it's terrific. The people who work there are very nice. The people who take care of him during daytime and nighttime are very nice. The facility is beautiful. The food, so far, is great. They have exercise, Bingo, and happy hour. They also have music time, which includes playing the piano and singing karaoke. The facility has 1-room apartments.

The Goldton at St. Petersburg was my favorite out of every single one that I saw. Adrian was very knowledgeable about everything. He knew what was going on. He was very pleasant. That was my number one place. Since my father can get Medicaid, then I will be able to put him maybe into that place. There were people on the floors, which was nice. There were med people and charge nurses on each floor that we went to. The dining room was beautiful inside. The place smelt clean. It was nice. My sister and I both liked that place a lot.

The Goldton At St. Petersburg is only six miles from my home so that allows me to get to mom in case of an emergency and to visit her very easily and conveniently once she moves in there. So, proximity to me is very important. I liked that the staff has been there for a while and that they don't use agencies. The lady that I'm working with, Michelle, has been wonderful. We stay in touch with each other and keep each other up to date about how soon we can get Mom transferred to their memory care and when would it be best to come and sign a contract because we want to do when it's best and make sure everything is as close to the move-in date as we can get. I already know what room she's going to be in and what her roommate's name is going to be. I got to look at one of their meal plans and what was available for the day and usually they have a meat option or they can choose the pasta option. If they're not satisfied with either of them, they have a standard menu where they can ask for a hamburger, a hot dog, a salad, or grilled cheese. You get what you get. I've got a calendar with the activities for the month and it was great to see the things that they do. I didn't smell any odors. Everything was clean, neat, and orderly. They eat at the earliest time and they're always allowed snacks. They keep snacks and stuff like that out, but they talked about possibly getting snacks and even sandwiches and stuff available through the night hours that they can snack on and such because it's such a long time between meals for seniors, and I think that's wonderful.

I liked The Goldton at St. Petersburg. It was pretty, really nice. It was really big and clean. They had one bedroom and studios and they were nice, and the one bedroom would have been fine. Because what they're doing there, they're still renovating over there, they're still putting things together. But I mean, they got it together pretty good and nothing's dirty and all that. But I looked at the studio and the one bedroom because he could show it was a one bedroom and show me what part of it was the studio part. So the one-bedrooms are two studios they put together. There's no closet, but they have wardrobes they'll give you to use as a closet, and they're not very big. They don't have a pool. They have an outside part that has a fountain. It wasn't on the day I was there, 'cause they were working on it. They're working on stuff there. And there's an outside area they've got a building out there, and it used to be a huge bird cage, they're taking that and they're going to renovate it into a butterfly thing. And the area is going to be very nice when they're done. It was comfortable for me even when I was out there. It's got a very peaceful part there. And the place is nice. But I didn't like that idea of no closets and all that. The staff was really good because he told me anything that wasn't furnished in a room like I could bring an air fryer and use that in my room, which shocked me. He was very agreeable with everything. Just a nice guy. But you can only push what you got, and they're still in construction.

I toured The Goldton at St. Petersburg. The staff was great, but they did not offer a 1-bedroom unit, they're all just studio apartments. The rooms were too small. The staff that gave the tour was wonderful, she was really good. I saw the dining area, it was very nice but I didn't eat there. Their activities were all about the same as others. They take care of their people, they have lots of different activities for the people.

I toured and the staff was excellent. It's a slightly smaller facility (at least it felt that way), and there was a lot of interaction with the activities director. There was a lot of one on one attention, a lot of social activities for people that were very engaged, and all the residents seemed really happy. They had a backyard barbecue, a happy hour with one of the residents playing music, a library, arts and crafts, and just a lot of fun social things. The atmosphere was very family like. Everyone knew each other, and they're very social. My mom had the barbecue food. It was hamburgers and hot dogs, so it wasn't like top end cuisine; it was really good. They also have a nice area where people can walk. It's like an outdoor courtyard with an aviary and a garden with a fountain. It was very pretty and very accessible from the main building.

We went and it was a very good experience. The staff was very friendly. The facilities were very clean. We enjoyed the tour. The staff was very genuine and concerned, we had all of our questions answered, and she was very helpful. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean, well taken care of, and well kept. They had bingo, music, and karaoke, and we passed by a library and a physical therapy room. The dining room was in the main part of the building, so everybody passes by that. Each apartment has a courtyard, so they have outdoor spaces connected to the living area. They were at almost ninety-five-percent vaccinated at that time, so they were very proud of having everyone vaccinated already. They were on top of it.

I visited and they had all studio rooms. All the rooms were the same, I believe. They were definitely adequate and good for my mother because of the size and everything else involved. It was a good size for someone with limited mobility. While I was there, a lot of residents were playing cards and socializing, so that was good. I liked the staff, they were very professional, they gave me the information I needed, and made the tour easy. Everything was very nice. They did a good job at keeping everything very clean. I didn't think there were any issues. They also offered me respite rooms. I'm moving my mom from South Florida to the area where I live, and one of the things I wasn't thinking of was furniture and moving her stuff. When I was explaining that to them, they said, "Oh we have a respite room. We can move her in there and when you get her stuff up here you can get her set up and she can move."

I went and it was very nice, very clean, and very friendly. It had a homey feeling. It was a small place, the rooms were really nice, they weren't big, but they were adequate. We didn't have time to eat, but I did see the food, and it looked very good, it didn't look overcooked or bland. They do have a therapy room, which is not real big, but it's nice, and they do have monthly activities. They have a chapel. I did not witness anything, and I was there at lunchtime. The staff answered all my questions, and listened very carefully.

I was okay with it when I toured, but it was extremely small and they only offer a one size bed and one size room for everybody. The lady that I talked to was very educated and helpful, she had been there for many years, she showed me throughout the whole community. I just wasn't very happy with the one size room to pick from. It was very small and it kind of reminds me of a hospital room. She showed me around, everybody was very nice and very informative. I just don't think that my mom would be happy there. There was a place they could play bingo, watch TV, be outside for a little bit and they have a nice little park where you could go outside and sit.

We visited and I thought the people and the residents were very friendly. We felt very comfortable there on the tour, we liked the size, it wasn't too large, and it felt homey. We liked the rooms very much. They're large, and once we get the funding it's the place mom wants to be. It just seemed perfect.

I'm in here for respite care, and they're helping me with my housing needs and feeding needs, and they take me to the store. They're just wonderful. It's top-rated. Everything is wonderfully clean. My room is spacious with a little microwave, a little refrigerator, and a little kitchen table. It's very nice. I have a door that leads to the outside patio.

The rooms were OK. My mom doesn’t need anything big, so room size was fine, and they looked clean. I observed one of the staff members playing ball with one of the residents. Many other residents were in the dining room watching TV, but my understanding is they offer activities to residents. I know in memory care it was a lockdown situation. The assisted living piece was much more welcoming than the memory care. They were very nice and friendly, but it just seemed like the memory care was kind of forgotten about. The dining room wasn’t as nice.

It had a large yard. I like this facility a lot. It had a lot of outdoor space. It had a lot of security and it is closer to my house. They have a bird sanctuary and my dad would like that. They have nice big rooms, they were soundproof and I like that a lot. But it did not look like a home, it looked more like a nursing home. They have a barber shop. The dining areas were nice and big.
