Rooms are small but well appointed. Food is good and variety of options good. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Facility was clean and well maintained. Nursing staff and CNA staff are very kind and accommodating. Therapists are very personable and Activities are good. Laundry service a little bit slow. All in all great find for my father’s safety and needs in this stage of life.

I would highly discourage anyone from choosing Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center if their loved one has dementia or isn't able to advocate for themselves. My father did not have a great experience while he was in rehab at Riviera Palms. He was unable to speak, ambulate, or eat without assistance. The family was not heard when explaining our concerns and his health care needs. There were times when he waited for an hour for nurses or CNAs to help transfer; requests for liquids went without being met. My father contracted Covid during his 20-day stay at Riviera Palms; he continued to decline and lose weight. If you do choose Riviera Palms, please ask about their policies regarding Covid and family notification if there is an emergency. My father was transferred to the hospital from Riviera Palmas and the family was not notified. Instead, we learned 12 hours later when we came to Riviera Palms to see my father.

Everyone works very hard here. I want to give a shout out to Brandon, maintenance, for his conscientious consideration of keeping even the AC clean. Thanks!

My brother is staying at Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center. The thing I liked best is the facility itself. It's very clean and inviting. The staff is helpful. There's one person there who had to do activities with the patients. She took some time with me to ask what kind of things that my brother likes, what kind of hobbies or activities he might be interested in. The room is very clean and it's large enough. I talked to a couple of the staff, and one of them told me of my brother's progress. I think she was a nurse, and she went in detail with what he could do and what progress he's making.

I had to send my grandmother here for short term rehab and the nurses really helped us out a lot with making sure she worked well the physical and occupational therapists.

The Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center is caring, careful, and clean. The food is good and they're taking very good care of my wife. The rooms are spacious, clean, very nice, and air-conditioned. The place is very polished and very meticulous. They're constantly cleaning and keeping it up-to-date. I had a meal there and what I had was extremely good. Their desserts were delicious. They're taking very good care of her, and it's worth the money.

Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center is really good. The rehab is excellent (that is what my husband is in for). The staff seems to be really good. They are helpful, friendly, and they do what they are supposed to do. They have a floor that has all quarantined people coming from outside. The facility itself is very nice, very clean, and they treat people very well. I am impressed with it.

The receptionists were helpful. The rules are all over the place. The standards of management are pitiful. My husband has been on a cardiac, low potassium, and low sodium dietS for years. He was on no diet restrictions and begged me to get him out of there after 10 days. He gained 20 pounds in water weIght and ended up back in Manatee Hospital. His Dr. called me last night and told me he would not make it through the night. this place needs shut down. they are causing ppl to have set backs bc of their lack of care!

I can't praise these folks enough. My Dad was a patient there, twice. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly and gave him excellent care. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this facility. I can't say more than that. Food was good, too!! TV situation could be better, you also see other patient's tv and sound, but rooms were kept clean, bathrooms also. Grounds outside were nice, plenty of places to sit and visit. Activities were also plentiful if they wanted to participate. Thanks, Riveria for the wonderful care you gave my Dad. 6 stars from me.

My 100+ Aunt is only in a facility because we all work and can't be left alone and Medicare will not pay for home service. She is legally blind and used hearing aids but she does everything for herself showers dressed makes her bed. Now the only thing they do for her is to give her medications. And meals. If and when she uses the call bell she gets no answers for at least 30 minutes and if she has to ask for something they say they will be right back and the never come back. almost every meal she is missing something on the tray and when requested she does not get it. Today she had nothing to drink and she asked and NEVER GOT IT. She loves to go outside but the elevated is broken (since September) and she can't go down to the other one it's too long a walk so she is stuck in her room. She attends her monthly meeting and speaks about what she needs but it is lands on deaf ears and nothing changes.

My father is staying at Riviera Palms Rehabilitation for long term care after his rehab. I don't like the layout, but they keep it clean, and they have a courtyard outside with tables and chairs. It's only ten minutes from our house, so we go by and stop to see him every day. He likes the food, the staff seems good, and they seem to cater to him. He's satisfied, but he's not happy that he's getting less therapy now. He also doesn't like that on the weekends they sometimes have problems with the kitchen.

At Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center, the rehab was OK, but the rest of it was not good. I think the nurses were good, but they were overworked and did not have enough help. They just let Mother lay and didn’t change her diaper. When I went in, the nurse would say, “She would not eat,” and I'd ask her, “Did you try?” and I did not get an answer. I took her out earlier than what Medicaid paid because it was a nightmare at that facility. I did like the physical therapy department because they seemed to be the most caring and the most upfront about what was going on. My mother is 91, and I just wanted her to be comfortable. Instead, she wasn’t and screamed in misery there.

My uncle is still there, staff there is excellent, Nurses,Aids. Everyone that comes in the room are always smiling. Food like many places home is better. Can't understand housekeeping but that's ok they try, Maintenance Director is outstanding, he goes above and beyond, I'm glad we chosen Riviera Palms.

My father was at Riviera Palms for sixty days. The facilities were very plain, and very institutional. The food was all institutional. The place looked like a jail, and the healthcare there was terrible. There was lack of care.

My mom was there at Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center for a little over two months. I will highly recommend them to anyone. They were awesome, and it was good care. They called, and they were on top of it. They went above and beyond. The food was good, and she had awesome care.
