My loved one moved to Brookdale Palmer Ranch. I like the atmosphere, I like the people and I got a good, warm feeling when I was there. I felt they took an interest in their memory care residents. He has a larger room. It's a studio and it has a sink in it and a refrigerator, plus it had a fantastically positioned shower that is set up for somebody that could easily be handicapped or hurt in a shower when getting in and out. That was a plus. Adriana was spot-on with everything and helped walk me through the transition. Sandra, the assistant, also helped me with getting stuff for the room. His room was not furnished, and so they were most helpful in getting stuff and things that I might need to get him moved in. The other thing that impressed me is their activities. They have an activities director specifically for the residents in the memory care unit because these people are different from your average senior. Justin is a real delight to work with and he's taken a special interest in my loved one. They have music, which is fine, because he used to play the piano. They had karaoke. They had one activity where they had these wooden blocks that they stacked up and then somebody pulled one out and then the whole thing fell. He was an engineer, and this is the kind of stuff that kind of works. He's not social and he never had a hobby, but Justin has gotten him encouraged to participate in some of those things.

I went to Brookdale Palmer Ranch. The tour was very nice. The people were very nice. The place was clean. Very nice studio apartment. I also saw the one-bedroom apartment, which was very nice. It had a pretty outdoor patio area, and it seemed like the residents were all very happy. I had some questions about the food service aspect of it, and they did call me back about that. The director of the place was very nice and gave me all the information that I asked for. But, I didn't care for the salesperson's tactics. The person that I saw in the dining room who was a server seemed very nice, and he was talking with the residents and smiling. That was nice to see. They had a common space that seemed very small to me, and they didn't have very many amenities. It took me 45 minutes to get there, and it was too far for me.

We toured Brookdale Palmer Ranch. We loved the outside area. It was very, very nice. The dining room was also very pleasant. The rooms that we were shown were renovated. There were two studio apartments, one for a handicapped and one that was a regular studio, and they were stunningly gorgeous. The employees were very nice. They had a nice community room with a big kitchen area so that if you wanted to come down and do something there, you could do that. The staff who toured me was very pleasant, very informative, and knowledgeable. She answered our questions. She was great. Another thing is that it was very neat, very clean, and orderly. Nothing was laying around or anything like that. Everything was in its place as it should be.

We had an in-person tour of Brookdale Palmer Ranch. It was an excellent tour. It's an older facility, but considering its age, it is well-kept and clean. The staff was excellent. We spent quite a while with her, and she was very thorough. It was a studio that we looked at. It was small but clean.

My father-in-law is at Brookdale Palmer Ranch. It's very clean. It was recently painted on the exterior, while the interior is also very pleasant, welcoming, fresh, and clean. The staff is excellent, very caring, and competent. I've attended a cookout and tasted the food and it was fairly good. They have activities like Wii, bingo, a Jeopardy game, and outside entertainment music coming in, and they take the residents out to different restaurants and shopping. They have one-bedroom, different sized one bedrooms, and different sized efficiencies.

My Father had Congestive Heart Failure in February 2022. He was in the Hospital for 2 weeks and then the Hospital suggested "Brookdale Palmer Ranch" to our family. At first, all the employee's were strangers, but by the end of 7 weeks, we'd all become friends. The staff (Dr. O, RN's, and CNA's) went above and beyond to take care of my father who was suffering and not in the best of moods to put it mildly. Our family made a LOT of requests of the staff over the 7 weeks (having to do with personal care - to wanting an extra bit more to eat - all the way to him insisting on his Chocolate Pudding every night (!) and my father was always taken care of promptly and courteously. All the staff were always kind and professional--I personally never realized how hard their jobs were taking care of so many needy people non-stop. We felt a simple "Thank You" wasn't good enough--so the only way we felt we could properly repay the staff for the difficult work they had to do for my father was by making sure each week we brought in all sorts of delectable desserts for them to enjoy. The Staff helped my father heal and recover much better than we ever could have done at home. Loved ones need to understand that the staff have a lot of patients at every moment to take care of and have worked long hours--so, for the staff to be able to jump at every request, was simply amazing. We felt safe with our loved one at this facility. The facility was clean and well kept up. Zero complaints here! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

Do NOT put your loved one here for rehab. The rooms are dreary. No chairs for visitors. But most IMPORTANT, the rehab is minimal. Not at all what the patient needs. The food is AWFUL. Patient is diabetic and requested a diabetic diet. The request was ignored. He was served pasta, potatoes, and bread!!! He was never served a green vegetable or a green salad. This facility should not be insurance approved.

My dad was in Brookdale Palmer Ranch Skilled Nursing for Rehab, so we just chose to stay there because it was a nice facility. The people there were, first of all, accommodating and understanding, and they care. I am going to have to go with a three for the food because there's a shortage of food quite a bit. We went to a Christmas party. It included the families. They have a combination of skilled nursing and assisted living, and he can join in with the assisted living side stuff, so they have things almost daily that he can participate in. They are pretty pricey. They have an outdoor space, no pool. It's a covered patio area, they also have walkways that you can walk around the place. He's still in the same room and hasn't been moved yet. They are decent-sized rooms, so I don't have many complaints about the rooms.

Check on your loved one everyday while you have someone there at Brookdale nursing home for rehab. Don’t let the 4.5 star rating fool you. My friend ended up with bedsores there.

Stay away from this place - manager is never there and they charge insurance company for services that never happened. Poor food quality and medical treatment.

The staff was pleasant, but I have to say there was not enough. It was a very modern facility and very clean, but sometimes mom will wait up to 20 minutes or more for a call to get an answer.

Everybody from Brookdale was really helpful and provided a lot of information. We chose them because it didn’t smell like urine when you walk in the front door. The staff is fair, although there were some issues. Father has a private room with his basic necessities. They try to accommodate when visitors bring more chairs in his room. I would like to have some sort of documentation that I could look at as to what goes on during the hours I'm not there as I hear strange stories from my dad about what's happening.

Brookdale Palmer Ranch has hired a new executive chef, sales director, director of maintenance and executive director. The vision for this place is a great one. The staff are called to this industry and it shows in the caring and compassion shown. We have remodeled all of the rooms and it is even more beautiful than before. We are working to make every day better than the last. I would be proud to have my family member live here.

My husband is in Brookdale Palmer Ranch. The healthcare is superb. The people that attend to the people that need help are just amazing. He needed a lot of help, and they have got him back on his feet. He is now walking around with a cane. He had physical therapy. They have a happy hour everyday, which is very pleasant. There are only 65 people in the assisted living, so it is actually nice because you get to know more of the people. They play bingo, and they also play bridge. It seemed adequate. There is enough to do. The people who run it are very personable. They know everybody by name. It is very well done. One thing they can improve on is the food.

One of the places they sent me was Brookdale Palmer Ranch. That is where mother is now, and we are very thrilled with them. They are excellent. She was in physical rehab with them for six weeks. We liked them so much that we transferred her to the memory-assisted living, and she will stay there as for as long as she is alive. They are very caring, and they do as we ask. Anything we requested got taken care of, and I highly recommend it. She was in a very large room in physical therapy. It was a single room, which is a very large almost like a hotel style. It is actually big, which was maybe too big, but that is what they had at the time. When they moved her to memory care, they have a studio and one-bedrooms. We thought the one-bedroom was too big for her because she has problems with her knees and walking. We didn't want her walking very much so we figured the studio would be best, and it suited her really well. She loves her studio apartment. I think just like in any food place, you have great days, and there are average days. I don't think I have seen anything bad. My brother, sister, and I have eaten at various times with our mother. It just depends, and I would say it is about average to above average because you are feeding hundreds of people. The big thing in physical therapy side when she was there was getting the medicine on time. They have quite a few people, but sometimes they are half an hour to an hour late. My mother was on anxiety pills, so we had to ensure that they gave it to her early when she was supposed to versus one hour or two later. Because then she would start making calls and things like that and go into a panic attack. But we noticed now since she moved over to the memory care side that they are exactly on time, and we have no problem at all. It was just on the physical therapy side that the medication was not timely. They are going through renovations, so everything is being updated. The room has just been renovated, so we brought new furniture. So it is like a new beach cottage, and she was thrilled with it. We got the furniture in there, but it was already set up nicely. One thing about Palmer Ranch is the location. The area is very woodsy, and it is out in an area where you almost feel like you are in a country club style.

Palmer Ranch Healthcare and Rehabilitation is right down the road from where I live. It’s absolutely beautiful, and the people there are extremely kind and considerate. I can’t say enough of them. They’re going to stop and talk to you and ask how you’re doing today. The staff was exceptional and very nice. I went in to have PT and we knew everybody else. We were laughing and the girls that were working there knew their stuff. No one had any negativity. It’s a very pleasant place. It is very much in demand. They keep people coming all the time. It has a very nice dining room. I had to walk through a long hall, I had the corner room, and the sun came in that day. It was just perfect. It was a very nice room. It had enough room for 2 beds. It was a very clean and very bright place. Their food was very good. The dietician would come to me every so often and ask if I was satisfied with the food, and if there was anything special I wanted. They had everything going, and I think the people were happy that went there. Every morning I woke up and I found myself happy to be there.

My caregiver took me to the other side of the dining room at Palmer Ranch and they had a division that is assisted living. I saw the sample room. Just darling. They took me down and opened some of the doors. The spirit in that place was very high. No matter where you where, there were people that were cheerful. I felt as though I knew everyone there. They were very talkative, and it was a fun time. I’ve seen some of the activities. They had one group in for songs and they did the exercises. We had people that came in and played the piano and sang. We sang along with them. They had a lot of things going. It was a pleasant experience. I think it’s a newer building. Everything looked like it was in tip-top shape. They allowed my hairdresser to come every week and use their hair salon. That was very lovely. The people went out of the way.

Palmer Ranch is pleasant. The staff seem like they care. My mom is in a studio apartment, which is small, but it's adequate. The dining room is fine, and I think the food is good there from what I've seen so far. They have plenty of things available for them. They do have a church group and a Bible group, they have pedicures and manicures; they do stuff. There is an activity calendar. It is a smaller community, and that is what I like best about it.

Palmer Ranch was one of the first places that I looked and I had almost decided to place my wife there. It's a beautiful location, very homelike, very friendly and I was quite impressed with them. I talked to a number of the patients and they had an arrangement out there so that a non-afflicted member of the family can stay with their loved one which is a very nice thing. Their biggest drawback from my standpoint is that it is a very long, tedious drive from my house.

I visited Palmer Ranch and I didn't care for this facility too much. The location was fine. The air conditioners in the rooms were more like motel type and it's a multi floor facility. The person who toured us was only there for a week so she was not familiar with a lot of things.

Knowing that we would be in the area, we decided to make an appointment to see Osprey Pointe on Palmer Ranch. They have always liked that area - and my friend's mother had expressed that she liked it as well. Her family has members spread through Florida, so this location would be ideal for visiting her. The grounds were all well manicured - with plenty of areas for residents to enjoy. We really liked how well the staff was prepared for our visit. They had taken the time to find out about my friend's mother and the things she likes. We were shown all of the common areas, all of which were really nice. There were plenty of scheduled and non-scheduled activities to choose from, such as book club discussions, visits to the local library, local culture and beaches. The dining room was really lovely - as were all the adjacent communal areas. The guest lunch meal that we had was really great. The snacks offered include everything from specially designed and prepared baked goods (geared toward health) to fruits, vegetables and other delicious far. Despite the fact that they were made to be healthy, they all looked like they tasted really good. The private rooms were decorated tastefully with a homey, light and airy atmosphere. Each unit has nice views of the surrounding area. Bathrooms were designed with safety seats and rails. All of the seniors looked very well cared for and seemed quite content living within this environment - where they had plenty of freedom, in a safe and sensible place.

My children and I recently entered my brother as a new resident of Palmer Ranch ALF. We could not have been welcomed more warmly by the staff, particularly Pat Z., Community Relations Director with whom we had the most interaction in preparing for my brother's transition, Amy B., Exec. Director, the nurses, and receptionists. All were extremely helpful. The residents were very friendly and pleasant to us and, without solicitation, expressed their positive sentiments re. Palmer Ranch ALF. It is a comfort to us to know that our beloved brother and uncle will be well cared for in his new home.
