This facility is awesome! The marketing person is amazing to work with, the ED very competent and compassionate, the nursing staff amazingly kind and caring— everyone in this facility from office staff, to dietary to housekeeping is on board with residents first. Call light response is prompt, medical care great, clean, good food, awesome activity director. Very happy with my sisters placement here — would highly recommend this place.

Savannah Court of Orange City was nice and good. People were friendly. Jasmine was the one who toured us, and she was very helpful in assisting us. She's the one that's getting us a little bit of communication with different people to help my mother. She gave me the forms to get the doctors to fill out. They guided me to make sure all the forms were correct. My mom even likes this community. She is going to go into a studio room that is big enough for her. Even my mother is excited about it. For the price and everything, it's reasonable. The staff who gave the tour was fantastic and knowledgeable. She was empathetic, and I feel like she knows how I'm feeling, like the stress of doing this with my mother and everything else. She was relatable. However, with the floor, I would prefer laminate and not rugs.

Savannah Court of Orange City is so homey. It's a nice place. My father actually enjoyed the place. The people were very nice. The facilities, though not extremely modern, were sufficient and clean. The rooms were nice. They had a nice set up in the area for them to hang out. They had a courtyard inside, a nice viewing area for them to watch TV and hang out, and a pretty nice cafeteria. The staff members were professional, very kind, and informative. I enjoyed talking to them. They seemed like they knew what they were talking about, and they seemed like they cared about the patients that were there.

We toured the Savannah Court of Orange City. It's a very nice place. It's very clean, but they're very helpful, very friendly, and very caring. They offer basically the activities and care. They have a dining area and a courtyard.

My sister is in Savannah Court of Orange City. The community is beautiful, but their organization is very poor. It took them a month to repair a little fridge that she has. They have a kitchenette, and the fridge was not working. It took about a month before she got another refrigerator. They are lacking in personnel. It took me about 20 minutes to get in before somebody came and opened the door, and it took about 20 minutes to get out the same way. The other day, somebody was looking for a battery for their remote control and had to wait about an hour before somebody took care of that. The food's very poor. They give them some type of hotdog with a little soup. She's not very happy with the food. We are not happy there. She's not happy there. She's in a one-bedroom with a bathroom and a kitchenette. They have an activity person they just hired about a month ago. They have a courtyard. They have a room for activities. They have a room with a pool table. They have a room for birthdays or something like that.

Savannah Court of Orange City was my second choice. I liked it very much. I liked that it was smaller. It was small enough that it was all on one level. There were no elevators or stairs. You felt very at home there. From the minute you walked in, it just felt very comfortable and personal. I could see the residents moving around and walking around. They could do a little gardening in raised planter boxes, and I thought that was wonderful for people. The dining room was smaller. If we wanted to go as a family and have dinner with them, we could do that in a private dining room. The rooms were very nice and typical. Each room had a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a tiny kitchenette. I found the people there to be very accommodating. They would have made it possible to have rooms across the hall from each other. My aunt is on oxygen all the time, and they had no problem with that. They could manage their medications very well and safely. I liked it a lot. The staff was very nice. I highly recommend this one. It's built in like a square, and the courtyard is in the middle. It looks very welcoming for residents to walk or sit. It was a screened area, just like I had wanted. The courtyard itself had plants and trees. They had a lot of activities that I thought my mom and my aunt would eventually enjoy. They have a church service every Sunday, which is important. They had a beauty salon and a good physical therapy area.

Savannah Court is a nice place, but it could be better. The maintenance is a little shaky. They need more people and they need better people. However, they're very pleasant, and I think they're trying to do a good job. They need more people and the upkeep could be a little better. The rooms are not that large. They have single rooms, but they're adequate. The dining area is very nice. They put tablecloths out at mealtimes. In terms of the food, it is just OK. They have all kinds of activities. They have exercises, bingo, auctions, happy hour, and movies with popcorn.

This place is fine if you are totally independent and simply want someone to provide your meals. The ratio of staff to residents is far too low to provide assistance to anyone who needs more than that. Never saw more than two caregivers and they are responsible for over forty residents, including serving food and distributing meds. They have one small activity room with a small TV without closed caption. (Most of these residents are hearing challenged) Staff turn over is non stop. They keep the temperature too low for wheel chair bound residents. (Assume the workers are in charge and they are very active, so they set it for themselves, not the residents) Not a good fit for anyone who needs to be in an assistant living residence. Should be reclassified as Independent Living. The place is a bargain, but you get what you pay for.

Our visit with Savannah Court of Orange City was very good. It was 5 stars all the way around. The only problem I have is that it's a little bit further away than I wanted, and I just found out I wasn't able to get the VA attendants, so I can't afford it. The staff answered all my questions and offered more information on helping me to find a place for my Mom and Dad even if it wasn't for them. They were very accommodating and right now, they still call me to see how we're doing and say we're always welcome to come. They had a fall festival recently and they said that we could come and visit. Cleanliness was very good.

We placed mom at Savannah Court of Orange City. We chose it for its price and location. The place is clean and organized. With their activities, I know that they have a prayer group, a salon, and ballroom dancing.

DO NOT let your loved one stay here, they are understaffed and that's only the beginning of the issues. The management is just there for the money and in my opinion doesn't care about people at all. This facility has residents with scabies and the other residents/families were never notified, also feeding is an issue. There are some caring workers, but there are some that do not care. Please look elsewhere.

I wasn’t impressed with Savannah Court during my visit to the place. When I walked in, it smelled like urine. I saw a lot of patients unattended. They were eating, and they had food all over themselves. It just didn’t seem like they are attended to very well. Their rooms are clean.

This place seems like it is very understaffed!! The residents are just wandering around trying to take care of the other residents..The urine smell was just atrocious inside. The food there looked like it was of ok proportions, but I noticed that some of the people who needed to Fed were not being Fed at all or by other residents. There is no way I would let my family members reside here!!

We chose Savannah Court of Orange City because it was closer, within our budget, and clean, and the staff was great. They have singing, bible study, bingo, and all kinds of activities. This past week, they had a Hawaiian night, and they had Hawaiian dinner. They celebrate the holidays. They also have exercises. What I liked best is its safety because my mother has dementia. It's all on one floor, and it's sort of like in a square, so they can walk the whole courtyard. They can't go out the front, but they can go out in the back and it's all secured with the building around the courtyard.

I like Savannah Court of Orange City. I liked that they are very friendly, and they can provide the services that my wife's stepfather needs. The staff is excellent. He is a complainer, but he does not complain about the food. He seems very satisfied with the food. The facility is clean. It has entertainment and various functions for the folks that live there. I think they are doing just a pretty good job.

my aunt has gotten top of the line care, staff is knowledgeable and caring, directors are always open to questions and suggestions, activities are plentiful, we have had several meals with her and the food has been good, always hot and nicely presented. I have been a nurse for many years and this is one of the best ran facilities I have seen, this has been "an excellent choice in providing a good environment for my Aunt" job well done to all of the Staff!

Although the food was good at Savannah Court, I was not really impressed them. Their decor was plain and it didn't seemed to be up-to-date.

The staff at Savannah Court of Orange City are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The facility is beautiful and offers apartment style living, where each resident recieves their own studio apartment. The price includes meals, bathing, medication despensing, and activities. The activities director also takes the residents on shopping trips and other types of activities. The property is also a locked property, meaning that if your family member is a bit of a wanderer, there is no need to worry about them wandering away. The one unpleasant thing that I noticed was the smell. While not exactly strong, the smell of urine was apparent in the facility.
