My husband moved into Pacifica Senior Living Ocala. It's good. It's close to our home. My husband's room is like an apartment. It's got a separate bathroom and a double bed. You had to furnish what you wanted. It's a nice, great, big room. It looks like a hotel room. The staff members are very nice. My husband is happy with the food. They have activities. They have a front porch with rocking chairs. In the section where my husband is, they have an outdoor area.

I like Pacifica Senior Living Ocala because it is small. They only have 48 assisted living spots. I kind of like the small facility rather than something huge. I liked it very, very much. It's three on my list. Internet and cable are included. They include transportation to the doctors within 10 miles. It's right up the road from us, so that's a plus. The premises were very well maintained. It had a lot of pluses for it. It seemed to be nicely landscaped. I didn't see any issues as far as cleanliness. It seemed to be welcoming. It seemed to have various activities for the residents, so it's a good atmosphere.

My mother was at Pacifica Senior Living Ocala. The reason why it was horrible across 2023 was the executive director had no business in that profession, he was extraordinarily unprofessional, and they just got rid of him in the last couple of months. It's gone straight up in terms of the quality. I can't say that it's perfect, but it's so much better in comparison to how it was. They finally have a really good staff. They got rid of a lot of bad apples along with the executive director. Mom has the least restrictive, assisted living that they have. She participates in all the activities. She's very social. She likes visiting with people. She's allowed to leave with anybody she's comfortable with. She has pretty much freedom to come and go as much as she can. The food has been consistently OK and has improved. The management quality was of up and down but has improved. They make an effort to keep it clean and updated. My mom's room is nice. They did a stellar job giving her the best room. There's a physical therapist that comes in and they play games with balls to keep folks active and stimulated. She goes out on walks and they have a lot of games. They have board games. They have music. There's a piano there, and a couple of the residents are good piano players. They bring in a vocalist musician once in a while.

I had a very good interview at Pacifica Senior Living Ocala, and it was a very nice facility. The rooms were too small though. The staff who gave the tour was very good. The dining area looked nice. The building looked OK.

I liked Pacifica Senior Living Ocala. It was much brighter and it's got better flooring. They had more space for activities and more outdoor areas that were available. The individual rooms were spacious and the layout was appropriate for memory care. They had large common rooms for interacting with residents, and the facility seemed quite secure.

I liked Pacifica Senior Living Ocala a lot. What I didn't like was that they had mentally challenged people living among the other people. They didn't have them separated. They had the memory care, and they might have another section, but they still had people with memory care walking around with the others. The one day that I was there, I saw this gentleman walking around, and he couldn't find his room. He wanted to go up to the second floor, and there is no second floor. It's all one floor. It could've been that they only have that one man that's like that, but it scared me. The staff was wonderful. They didn't want us to go into the dining room, but they arranged to have us eat in a guest room. The gentlemen ate with us, so we could ask him questions. That way we weren't exposed, and we weren't exposing other people. They were all wonderful. I couldn't complain about any of their directors or anything. The girl that brought the food couldn't have been any more helpful. They outdid themselves. They were excellent. The food was excellent. It was real clean. The grounds were beautiful. I went into one of the general bathrooms that guests can use in the hall, and they were clean. They had a very nice library, and they had large print books. They show movies, and they have areas where you can sit and just chat with other people or read, so you don't have to stay in your room all the time.

Pacifica Senior Living Ocala was dark. The gentleman who gave the tour was friendly, but he's only been there for a couple of months so he didn't have a lot of expertise as far as the facility was concerned, to be able to answer all questions that we had. We looked at assisted living. The place didn't seem clean, it wasn't pretty and it was dark and kind of dismal. We looked at the menu, they didn't offer us food or anything, but the menu was disappointing as far as the choices.

Pacifica Senior Living Ocala was small with no more than 40 rooms. The interior was old, so it needs remodeling. There's a lot of brown in the rooms. I'm a person who likes bright colors. So, that's just why it didn't appeal to me at all. They don't have big windows to let a lot of light in, so you need colors that reflect what light comes in. They said they're undergoing refurbishing the rooms, so it's very hard to gauge right now. They only had two bedrooms, and that's all I'm interested in, but they weren't quite done yet. The employees that work there were very charming and knowledgeable. They also had walking trails and wicker furniture around the patio area, and they had just redone that patio area.

I toured Pacifica Senior Living Ocala. I think it was very nice. It's hidden back in the woods. It's a single story, which is very nice. It was very clean, and I was impressed with it. The staff was very, very personable. The dining area was very, very nice, and very clean. They have a beauty parlor and barber shop. It was very nice.

The facility is super clean. I met several staff members and they were all very nice and helpful. I like the fact that this facility is not super large so residents don't get lost in the shuffle. Frances gave us our tour, she is very knowledgeable and professional. I would recomend this facility

In a nutshell, I thought Pacifica Senior Living Ocala was very nice, and they had a lot of things to offer. I like the fact that it was not multilevel and did not have a lot of residents, so it appeared to me that there would be more personal attention. I like that if people didn't show up for activities, they went to personally invite them, so that was a plus as well. Frances is the lady who took me on my tour, and she was very professional and very knowledgeable. Just in passing, I also met several of the other staff members, and they all seemed happy and smiling, so that was good. I like the fact that even amidst COVID, they are still dining in the dining room rather than bringing everything to their room, so the residents are allowed out. They keep track of temperatures and any changes in health condition while still maintaining state guidelines, so it allowed for the residents to get out of their rooms. I think they're in the process of doing some updating as far as carpet and flooring in a few areas, so some of that is a little worn looking. That would be my only negative, but everything seemed clean, so that was fine.

Vicki especially and all the staff we had connection with were very friendly. The pictures in the news letter caused my father to cry, he could not believe it was real. When we got to see the facility he realized how nice it was. He said now I have a reason to live. The view of some of the residents sitting on the front porch really gives it a home feeling. My family and father do not have the feeling that he is getting dumped off. He will be well cared for.

My mother moved into Pacifica Senior Living in Ocala almost a year ago. I can't say enough good things about the care she's receiving. The staff is wonderful and very attentive and friendly. We're all on a first name basis and it feels more like a family atmosphere rather than just a sterile care facility. Mom is happy and engaged and has made new friends and I know I don't have to worry about her. I'd live to thank Vicki, Stacy and Suzanne, and all the others too of course!, for all they do.

Pacifica is a very homey environment; large enough for socializing, but small enough so that I feel I know both staff and residents, they all know mom, and mom has the opportunity to know all of them. All staff members are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and professional. Before Covid , I visited a lot. More than once, I saw staff go out of their way to help residents whether or not it was in their specific role description. Pacifica administration and staff have been informative and open regarding Covid and steps necessary to keep residents safe. I really appreciate their efforts in this scary time when we are separated from our loved ones. They have also made efforts to keep family connected to loved ones as much as possible. This means a lot to me. Mom’s studio is lovely and comfortable. Pacifica provides enough activities to keep residents engaged and the staff takes into account residents’ interests. Mom loves music, and there are a lot of music activities. The food is tasty, though a little different from our Italian/Mediterranean diet. All in all, I’m very happy mom is living at Pacifica.

My mom has moved to Pacifica. We had to relocate her quickly. We had seen Pacifica during our initial investigation of ALFs 2 years ago. Now that this decision had to be made, we didn't hesitate to revisit Pacifica and Vicki has been our guiding light through this difficult process. Because of her, we are assured we have made the right decision. We are so thankful for her kindness and caring.

Pacifica Senior Living Ocala was very nice and very open. They had an open activity area which was different from the other place I visited. The place is very modern. The apartment I saw was nice, it was all repainted with all-new fixtures in the toilet. Everyting in that apartment was really nice. They also had daily activities in the activity area, they have church services, a beauty salon, and on-site nursing. They also had a dining area, I had a meal there and the food was very good. The chef came out and talked to us, he was really friendly and it was a very nice lunch.

I love my apartment and the staff who helped us. The activities are fun. My favorite part of the day is having lunch and dinner with my friends. We stayed and laughed for hours. We shut the place down. The food is fair. I wouldn't rave. We haven't been pleased with the cook they have, but they're getting a new cook, and so we're hoping for better. The staff is very nice. No complaints. We play different card games, we have movies, and almost anything you can see here we play. My room is beautiful. It's a one room with my bed in it, a closet, and it has everything I need. The place is extremely clean. The people that live here have to take showers 3 times a week. It's a must. The staff is very, very good, and the helpers are exceptional. I've been here since February.

I've been in Pacifica for 8 months now. I like the people and the staff. They keep my apartment very clean and my laundry is always done. They have a lot of activities, but I don't go to them. I'm almost blind. My room is big and it's great. My kids chose Pacifica. I like the food. They have a set time for meals. I like it here.

I moved my mom into the community yesterday. They made it easy for me as possible. I knew when I walked in the front door, this was the place for my mom. The grounds were pretty and the community was clean and plesant. The nurse came to our house to evaluate my mom and made her feel as ease. Pacifica Ocala is the perfect place for my mom!

Pacifica Senior Living Ocala was very nice. They had a nice restaurant where the folks could sit down and have a restaurant-style dinner. They also had a nice pool. The staff member who toured me was super and has been there for several years. There were people playing cards, in the pool area, and in the game room.

I would like to thank Tonya and her entire staff for the comfort and care they gave to Mary during her stay at Pacifica-Ocala. During her later time when her health was failing the extra care she was given was over and beyond. The entire staff from maintenance, to the kitchen staff, nursing, administration and regular workers to top management could not have been more helpful and caring. Whenever I needed help with Mary everyone was more than happy to help. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place for there loved one to consider Pacifica-Ocala. I would personally like to Thank Tonya and her staff.

My friend was in Pacifica. He was transported back to the hospital and is now in rehab, but he will probably be going back to Pacifica. It has very nice upkeep of the interior, much better than the other places that we had gone. They offer a lot of activities and even bring groups in to entertain and sing. We had lunch there the same day he was admitted, and it was good. Their dining area was above anything we saw anywhere else. It was very neat, and the food was good. It was a pleasant experience.

Just moved my 96 year old dad from independent living to Pacifica. The first day was rough since he did not see the need but now is slowly adjusting. Tonya's team is wonderful and he loves his care person Peggy and trusts her. It will take him awhile to get use to his new home but with time and the outstanding support from the staff I know he will be healthy and happy in the long term.

Pacifica Senior Living was very friendly and well-kept. It’s being renovated, very nice, and spacious. The help there was very accommodating and friendly. I liked it very much. I didn’t feel lots of activities at that time, but I know they have a lot of activities. They were having their meal when I was there, and I went to the barbecue station that they had, and the food was very good. They had entertainment at that time, and they had their activities in the center. The corridors were very wide and bright. The dining room is very open, and it has double atrium doors going out to the garden area.

We toured Pacifica, and everything was nice. It was under construction, so it was hard to tell what the rooms are going to be like. Everyone seemed nice. The staff was pleasant, the few that I saw. It was a very small place. They didn’t really have a secure system. They said that when people go out, they ask them where they’re going, but when you’re 90 years old, you might go the wrong way. It seemed like a nice place, and I wouldn’t have any problem with putting somebody in Pacifica. They had a library that was under construction, so I’m not sure about the size of it or anything. They had bingo, but the residents looked like they were on their own. I didn’t see any activities there.

One thing I liked about Pacifica Senior Living Ocala was it was all on one floor. My biggest turnoff was that a lot of the people in there were just too old for me. The food was OK, and they served three meals a day. The room that I saw was OK but a little too small for me. Everybody was very nice.

We recently celebrated my aunt's 100th birthday at Pacifica Sr. Living, Ocala. Thanks to the friendly and very caring staff, the occasion was a complete success. We were touched that everyone at the facility seemed to be involved in making this day a memorable one for my aunt. A special thanks to Tony, who coordinated everything and even made sure there was a chocolate cake ....a request from the Birthday Girl . The staff is relaxed, attentive and respectful to their residents. They obviously strive to provide the feeling of Home.

I've been here several times because my husband's aunt was a resident. This place is beautiful too. It had grass all around and several benches as well. The rooms were nice. They're very roomy for a single person. In addition, they serve good food to their residents. I think the residents are happy with their stay here judging from their physical appearance. I would suggest this place to others. I like what I see in here and I can't think of anything negative about this facility.
