My mom moved into Hampton Manor 24th Road. The place is clean, the staff is nice and the food is decent. My mom seems to be doing OK there. The staff doesn't lie to you, they're honest people and are all nice. They've got a big courtyard. It's not that big of a place, and it was a little older, but the rooms are of decent size. They play bingo, and they do other activities.

I went to Hampton Manor. I liked their pricing structure. It was all one package deal that you paid. And you didn't have to pay extra for any care or anything. It's all-inclusive. It's an older place, but you would not know it by walking through. It was very well-maintained. It had one of the nicer courtyards of all of the places I visited, and I saw some of the activities going on, and everybody seemed to be happy.

We toured Hampton Manor 24th Road. They were very good people. We looked at a studio there, and it was adequate. It was better than the place that we were leaving for sure. At the time, we were looking at that favorably until we determined that my father-in-law didn't need memory care and that we were going to move into assisted living. Nevertheless, everything we saw looked good that day.

I went to Hampton Manor 24th Road, but it was only for dementia people. I thought it was a great place. I mean, if I had to put my husband somewhere and I could afford the expense of it, that would be perfect, because it has a little private room. You can have a table out if you want to, or just sit down, and have company. They have lots of things to do there. They're not just like sitting around being bored. They have different activities to do. So I was pleasantly surprised because nursing homes are like, I always have the opinion of yuck. But it's a nice facility. And the woman that showed me the place did a wonderful job of it, too. I thought she was excellent. It was clean, I did not see any problems with the whole thing. I thought the rooms were nice, just enough room for their clothes, and it was a full-size bed in there, and they said you can bring your own bed. You can have your decorations, a nice, little cozy room like his bedroom would have been a home. They have lots of seating, and they have gardens, patios, walkways, and a yard. It wasn't all cement. It would have been nice if they had a small pool, like a therapy pool.

I liked Hampton Manor 24th Road. My mom liked that place. It's very clean. I liked the colors. They're very friendly. They seemed very organized. The residents were eating lunch at the time, and the dining area was clean and nice. It was almost as if they were at a restaurant. We saw a one-bedroom unit and it was very nice. They had an area where they mainly sit and play activities. The chairs were red and it was almost like a fifties style. I think that's good for that age. It might take them back to when they were younger. I liked it. I only met one person, but everybody seemed very nice. They have locks on the doors. They have codes that they have to use to go to different departments, so I liked that, too. The only concern I had was they send nurses around, but they don't have a buzzer in each room or anything like that to where, if somebody fell, nobody would know, until they come around and check. Other than that, I liked everything.

My mother-in-law has moved into Hampton Manor 24th Road. It's clean. Everything there is pretty good. She's got a nice room. So far, the staff seems to be very nice. No complaints with the staff. They seem very caring. We were there yesterday, and their activity was for Mother's Day. They have a TV room, they have music, and they do puzzles. They get together every day and they do something different with some of the staff to be active. It's a nice little facility. It's the cheapest place. For what we've seen and experienced out there, they were the most reasonable, and they worked with us on that. I would say the value is very good considering what's out there.

I visited Hampton Manor 24th Road for my mom. I liked it, it was cozy and didn't feel like a corporate facility. It felt safe and secure because everything had keypads, which was good. It's very friendly and clean, and I was impressed with that. We met with the director and she was lovely, very friendly, and helpful. I felt like if we chose them, my mom would be in good hands and I felt like they would go above and beyond to make sure the person was happy. I didn't have any food, so we just peeked in and saw the dining room. Everybody appeared to be very pleased with the new chef that they just hired. We've also observed a group activity, they were sitting around doing chair exercises and it was nice. They were doing what they could to keep people there stimulated. I would have considered it, we were going to choose them but with the pricing, we couldn't do it.

After driving around looking at different assisted living facilities I drove past Hampton Manor. The outside decorations made it seem like it was very welcoming. I called and the woman that answered was courteous and put me on the phone with Ashley the Director who made me feel at ease and comfortable. Hoping to come for a tour this week it sure felt like home.

Hampton Manor 24th Road is the one that I'm going with for my friend. I saw the clients there interacting with the staff, and I saw them interacting with each other. They were not just sitting in front of a TV. They were getting ready to play games. There was a lot of interaction, and the staff members were calling them by name. I was impressed with the whole feel of the place. The medicine room was locked. It was not locked at one of the places I viewed; the door wasn't even shut. I felt very comfortable. I felt comfortable with Tabitha. I feel like she's working hard to get her clients and the caregiver the best care that they can do. And if you compare it to some of the other places, the price is reasonable. Even their companion rooms have the illusion of privacy. They don't look like a jail cells with two single beds. I was very impressed with that. And of course, the private rooms are very nice. They have a sitting area and everything.

We went to Hampton Manor 24th Road. We were very interested in it, but financially it wasn't going to work. My son has a little dog, which we've trained to be a service dog, and we wanted her to be able to be with him, and that was possible there. Also, they just offer the services that he's going to need because he needs someone to check on his medication that he's taking and get the right medication. He has lost most of his short-term memory. He's battling with that, and he has to work with people that realize, just because he chose something once it may not be enough. I just like the people there. They were very friendly. We didn't have any complaints. The person that was supposed to give us the tour wasn't there, so the manager stepped in and gave us a tour, and she showed us a couple of rooms and walked us through where the residents were playing cards, reading books, and all that. She told us that they're rebuilding the cafeteria or dinner room, and doing some remodeling, and that's good. I think she gave us a very good tour. The rooms looked fine; she showed us two different room styles.

Hampton Manor 24th Road was very, very nice. The employees were kind and helpful. They answered a lot of my questions. The design of the rooms was nice. The facility was like a big circle that they would be walking in and I just think my mom would have a difficult time with that because the residents are allowed to roam free. Other than that, it was very clean. The dining area looked really cool. It reminded me of a retro 50s kind of feel. It was really, really pretty. They also have a place where residents can get their nails done. All of the residents were having a good time, sitting around playing games. I think that would be a wonderful place for your loved one.

Hampton Manor is doing a very good job with my brother there. The staff is friendly, kind, very nurturing, and very professional. He does the bowling activity, and he says that he helps set the pins up. They do some activities, and they do like a stress management type thing for Alzheimer's. They do coloring and a lot of games there as well. The facility is very nice, and they've done a lot of renovations. They have a beautiful kitchen and an outside atrium. It's very nice. They've done a lot for the residents there. My brother says the food is very good. I think they could use some more staff.

We visited the Hampton Manor. It was very nice, but it was just too expensive for what we were looking for for my mom. Most of it was assisted living in there. It was like one little wing of memory care. They were very friendly, they showed us the room, and they showed us like where the dining rooms were. It was just too expensive for what my mom could have right now in her price means, but they were all very nice. You could have a shared room or private room there.

Steer Clear! We had been working with this facility for months to move my mother with Alzheimer's in. It was finally 48hrs until our move-in date, movers booked, out of town relatives on the way, the the facility called and said they had to cancel our contract. We were devastated and baffled, management refused to speak to us or give a re and completely untrustworthy. They don't care about your family at all!

My mom had been in another place and a total difference in her attitude, health and hasn’t fallen at the place. The staff is great. Rooms are clean. My mom often has her hair and makeup on earrings too . I can’t say enough good.

We went to Hampton Manor firs. It felt more like a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had laundry services and activities for the residents, but my friend is not one to take advantage of those kinds of things. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

When we went to Hampton Manor 24th Road, they didn't know we were coming even though we had an appointment, but they were very gracious and gave us a tour. The place was very nice. They did their best to meet our expectations of the monthly fees. The residents were all gathered in their main living room doing some activity. They showed us the menu, and I wasn’t impressed; I felt that it was lacking.

Mom will be moving to Hampton Manor. The place is set up in a square with all of the residents' rooms around the square. They can wander the entire square. At the center of the building is a courtyard where they can go whenever they want. The director of the facility said this is the only place she has ever worked. She started at 16 and is in her early 30s now.

Hampton Manor is well run. There is a male nurse who takes good care of the medication. The dining area and the food are good, and my mom easts her food. When they showed us the room, they were in there touching up the walls and making everything look brand new. They sing, have a book club where people read stories, and a band comes in on the weekends. They have preaching in the church and Bible studies. The people are busy. It's top notch.

My mother is in Hampton Manor. The staff is very good. The place is clean. The times I come to visit, there has been no problem. They seem like they take care of the people. However, the apartments are very small for what we pay a month. That is the only problem that we have. They have a whole schedule of activities.

Hampton Manor is a clean facility. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Our mother moved into Hampton Manor in March 2014. She was not sure if she would like it there. But soon, she told us how happy she was. Now, she sings praises for this wonderful place she now calls home!

The staff of Hampton Manor was always quick to recognize my mother by name. They were all always caring and respectful in sometimes difficult situations. They surrounded my mom with love during her last days. They were indeed very involved and informative in any changes she displayed.

My mother has lived here for the last three and a half years. She is an extremely picky person and a neat freak. Believe me if she can find something to complain about she would be all over me about it. Not once in the three and a half years has she complained about the staff, about anything not being clean or out of order. She actually told use how much she likes the food. This is from a person that is very hard to please if you don't believe me you can ask one of her four ex husbands. Know that she is happy living there gives me a lot of piece of mind. My hat is off to them and I highly recommend them.

Not to be negative or derogatory, but Hampton is the last one on my list. I first noticed that it's kind of smelly. Maybe they were just way too busy, but it wasn't really very good. I got to look at one of the rooms. I wasn't really impressed. It's a little bit smelly. I got to see the dining room, one room down the hallway, and the living room.

Sterling House was very nice. I liked their whirlpool tub that the residents could use. That was really nice. They won awards for their signature sauces and spices and I think that's very neat with diet being so important.

Hampton Manor was a very lovely facility with nice grounds. The rooms were beautiful too. The staff was really helpful and accommodating. If I would like to choose a place to live, it would be here. I will recommend this place to others who are looking for a place for themselves or their loved ones.

I made weekly visits to my neighbor, whom stayed at Hampton Manor, Located in Ocala, Florida. While visiting her I noticed that the facility was always clean, the sitting area was spacious and comfortable (not to mention also nicely decorated). The place always smelled clean (which is a big point to potential guests). The staff wasn't rude, and always answered any questions you may have asked. They didn't go out of their way much, but and my friend whom I was visiting, noticed they were always very busy. It seemed to me they may have been understaffed. Also, she said her morning meds were always late. I visited her during meal times one a few occasions. Though the food was presented nicely (it seemed as though the kitchen staff went out o f their way to present it in a homey fashion, so it didn't just look like a hospital tray), it never tasted good. She complained of the food so much I tried it on several occasions and she was right. She said some of the other residents who had been there for a while said that "the owners strictly limited the food budget). I would always bring her a meal or snacks, which was greatly appreciated. Perhaps I shouldn't have done this, but I poked around the kitchen once and saw a huge can of corn that had been expired for about one year. I, however, have no way on knowing whether or not this was used. The soups and juices served seemed to be watered down a great deal. Other than the food, it seemed like a fairly nice place to stay.
