the gallo house is a dirty, depressing house..it is very very old and needs some renovating.the linens aren't changed on a regular basis and the personal property of the residents isn't secure..such missing item as clothes, shampoo, and other personal items. This assisted is below average when it comes to compassion and health care. The food also leaves a lot to be desired!

The Gallo house Inc. is located off of little road, directly across from a large steeple church. Upon arriving, this ALF appears to be a large home with a 180 degree round about and a parking area. To the right of the house there is a porch that has some plastic furniture. Upon entrance to the house, there is a large community room that resembles a family room that has two sliding glass doors , one on the right and one on the left, on looking the small screened in back porch. There is a shed that is to the right back yard that has laundry facilities in it. The kitchen has a open floor plan, that has three regular tables , in which the residence have regular seating. The corner of the kitchen is used as a office area. There are resident rooms off the kitchen, two and one bathroom with a walk in shower. The other side of the house is also resident's rooms. Some of the rooms have two to three residents in them. This facility has a diverse age range in residents. The median age range seems to be around 60 years old. The positive qualities of this facility are: 1. Home cooked meals in an open kitchen setting 2. The facility looks and feels like a group home. 3. The staff is friendly. 4. There is close access to the pubic transit. The down sides to this facility are: 1. When I was there, I witnessed a resident yelling profanities from her room, and no one did anything about it so the other residents would not have to endure it. 2. A majority of this place seemed out dated and slightly dingy. The old wood look, with wood paneling. The sliding glass windows were dirty and the back porch had dirty linens on the floor. 3.There are two community bathrooms with showers for about 15 residents and staff. 4. It appears that this house has SEVERAL added on additions, and the layout could be better utilized in my opinion.
