I am/was a resident of this facility

I moved into Terracina Grand. I like everything about it. What I don't like is that I need a larger apartment, but that could be the case anyplace. Everything here is fine, though. They have great nursing staff. They have wonderful food. They have people who seem very dedicated to caring for the residents. I'm extremely pleased with this place. Tonight, I had prime rib with baked potato and vegetables. It was prepared perfectly. You could cut it with a fork. It was so good. I had red wine with that and I got a cookie. They seem to have a lot of activities. I'm going to go with the group over to the Coastland Mall tomorrow. They have a nice exercise room with the equipment that I like. They have a pool, which I haven't used. They have transportation to doctors three days a week. They had a nice New Year's Eve party for us, a very nice Christmas party for residents and families, and that was great. I think there is a lot of attention paid to making the residents feel comfortable and happy here. There is an abundance of staff here, so nobody is kind of waiting around hoping that somebody will show up. They send someone over once a week to clean, and I also have someone come in who's been with me for many years, and she helps me out as well. But they do a good job. They have an art group, a reading group, and a group that goes to church. They also have physical therapy.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I moved here 8 weeks ago and it has been a nightmare. The apartment was not ready or cleaned or sanitized, I have had to fight for new carpets new appliances and I am still waiting for them to complete their job. They changed the menu and the food is the worst food I have ever tasted, they serve so many unhealthy, tasteless dishes, and if I order a salad its soaking wet, the vegetables are old and should have been thrown out. they do not carry any packages up to your room, tell you you have to pay for anything you need, it is really so disappointing and they are only working with half the staff who left because they were promised raises and never got them. YOU DON'T WANT TO COME HERE!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother-in-law loves the food at Terracina Grand. Every conversation I had with him starts with food, so he loves it. It's all gourmet food. I was allowed to go in there at any time. The building is beautiful, and it's like a five-star resort with four floors. You get seated at the dining room at a certain time, too, like what other restaurants do. Somebody would go up to you, take you to your table, and you have meals to choose from. I think what's really nice about the place was that they had adult activities. They have arts and crafts, but they don't put you in your room to only do that. What they had were a men's club, a women's club, exercises classes in the morning, a movie day, and they would take you on excursions (but not right now). It was a very mature, adult thing, and they don't treat you like children.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother is a resident of the Villa at Terracina Grand. It's a wonderful facility, and it's fairly new. She moved in when it was brand new. The people seem very caring. I'm really pleased with where she is. The staff is phenomenal. They're very good, and they seem disciplined. A lot of the people with memory disorders are completely incontinent, and they have a routine. Every so often, they'll come and get my mother, they'll get her refreshed and bring her back, and it's good. It would really bother me if they just let her sit and be uncomfortable, but they seem to have a time or a schedule where they keep everybody changed over, clean and healthy. They used to have entertainment, but with COVID, they don't have any. They don't let anybody in except the essential people, but they loosened up a little bit on visiting. I haven't seen my mother since February when they closed down the memory care unit to visitors, but now they are opening up to visitors, which is nice.

I visited this facility

I visited Terracina Grand for my parents. I was impressed with it, although, it's a little bit further away than I had wanted it to be. The facility itself is beautiful. They have a friendly staff and they seemed very helpful. The façade was fine. It is very clean. I am looking for a 1-bedroom that has a separate living area and all of them had been adequate.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

A close family member resided at this facility over 5 years in both assisted living and memory care. Very good options available for types of apartments in both locations that she enjoyed, as well as a variety of activities to participate in. Generally speaking, she was very happy there. Living nearby, we were able to visit often. All areas were very clean and well maintained. Staff was accommodating to her needs. We would have preferred a better communication plan for families. Inquiries often fell in the cracks. For example, her clothing was poorly laundered and many items went missing. These matters were never addressed despite our efforts to have them rectified. Overall, the atmosphere is welcoming and positive and proved to be the best option for our family member over the duration of her stay.

My friend moved in to Terracina Grand, the place is absolutely gorgeous. The community is 17 years old and it's all done in an italian style. The rooms are fabulous and the hallways are bright and wide. We looked at their assisted living that's all on the same floor, so no one is segregated and everybody is together. The food is fantastic, they have the same chef for 17 years. They have many activities and the staff is great. They have everything from movies, outings, music, exercise room, cards, you name it. They have a beautiful swimming pool and they also have pool exercises.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The entire staff pulled together to make my mom's 90th birthday so special! The facility helped to host over 40 family members and friends to surprise my mom for her special day. Talk about catering to the needs of the residents and families...I can't say enough. My parents consider this their home and refer to it as such. I am an RN and the care and compassion delivered on a daily basis to my parents is consistent and competent. I'm kept up to date on all new physician orders and the nursing staff always takes the time to interact with me. Terracina is not just a pretty face (although the buildings are beauriful), it is quality assisted living in Naples.

I visited this facility

I visited Terracina Grand and I am not that familiar with the area, but I know a couple of people who live there. It's kind of like walking into a hotel. It has elevators. I saw a man taking his dog out for a walk, and there were people in the lobby with their wheelchairs and walkers going out for the day. It was a busy place, which is an uplifting feeling. The people were up and about. One thing I very much liked about this place is that they have a selection of rooms and they were very lovely. One room that I saw was the model. When somebody dies or moves out, they completely redo it. The place was just lovely. If you go into an apartment in independent living and later need assisted living, they do not move you to another building. Instead, you keep your apartment. They had a lot of things going on. They have buses that can take you wherever. I also liked that it's privately owned. It feels more family like and it had a good, community feeling. There was very little staff turnover.

My husband is at Terracina Grand, and I'm very pleased with the facility. The aides are all very caring and try very hard. The food is sometimes cold, and the menu is redundant. They have excellent activities. He's in a lovely, private room that's decorated with watercolor and pictures, and we brought furniture for him. I think it's a very fine facility.

Terracina Grand was very nice. When you walk in, it was very bright. It was just lovely. They had a pool, a game room, a theater, a café, and happy hours. It had a wonderful feeling. It was clean and homey. The residents seemed to be very content and happy. They also go to restaurants and other places.

Terracina Grand is fine. I would like this place to have a workout room or a gym, physical therapy, a pool, and spa. The place is very clean, nice, and the people are fine, but their English is weak.

I visited this facility

The one thing I liked about Terracina Grand was that they had the highest accreditation possible for independent, assisted, and skilled nursing. It’s a larger place, and they had nice rooms. I saw all of their activities; they do a lot of wellness activities like exercise, chair yoga, and things to keep them active, but there are also a lot of other programs. They have a nice, resort-style pool. I just liked it; it’s pretty nice.

I have friends at Terracina Grand. The staff seemed to be extremely professional, very caring, supportive, and dependable. The food was excellent. The rooms and apartments were spacious. They're lovely, very well-maintained, and they have nice views out the window. The grounds were very well-kept. They have a computer area, and they have movies. They have neat games, exercise, all kinds of cards and board games. They have entertainers that are interactive with the residents. They have music during dinner a lot of time.

Terracina Grand has probably the best in everything: best accommodations, facilities, activities, beginning to end medical treatment, and they never had an add-on, but you have to buy-in and we didn't want to have to buy-in. The staff and facility were excellent. The amount of care was top-notch, and I'd grade everything B and A+ in my book. They have a wide variety of activities, like games, pool, poker, art, trips where they can go out to places, and croquet on the lawn. They have pretty much anything you could imagine. Their dining area looks like a ballroom. We didn’t eat there, but I looked at their menus, and the food looked very good. It was quite a nice array of options on the menu, a little bit better than what I had seen in some of the other places. We arrived during lunch time, so I was able to see some of it. They also had free snacks during the day. They had staff there helping people who have walkers and walked them over to their tables. If you walk in, you would have thought you were at a restaurant, not a senior living facility. It was beautiful.

The food used to be excellent and now is horrible. The higher staff members do not seem to care about the family and ignore simple requests. On several occasions, the family member did not have toilet paper. This happened 5 times, reported it each time to the high level person who did not follow it up. Dementia is hard on the family as well the patient. The higher level staff seems to just brush off issues family members are seeing. Basically "they will forget it in 5 minutes" is the standard answer. The way information is delivered is very harsh and unfeeling. I can not move my family member because there is no where else for them. If there were, they would be moved in a heart beat.

Terracina Grand is a 5-story building. They offered the same things as all the other places do, but probably on a little higher scale and a little more expensive. They have 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom places and they all seemed to have a lanai. It is one building so it's a little bit better organized. The main floor has recreational facility, e.g., library, computer room, and exercise room. They have an auditorium where they have entertainment. It was very nice.

The finest care by professionals who care about their residents. Staff is extremely knowledegable and offer much compassion for their residents. The facility is top notch with stimulating activities and clean surroundings. They are consistent with their services and are always updating and upgrading the residence.
