Lely Palms A ProMedica Senior Living Community is fabulous. The staff is so caring and generous. The food is amazing. Care's been great. We had to get extra care and we're able to do that. So, we've been very pleased. They allow relatives to come in and have meals for a fee. My in-laws love it. They have a ton of activities. They have chair yoga, happy hours, birthday parties, puzzle time, and a big variety of activities. It's very warm and welcoming. There is a beauty shop, a greenhouse/garden shed where they do gardening, a pool, a putting green, and a beautiful gazebo to sit in. It's an amazing place. I would want to live there myself. Anything we needed, like maintenance, they came on the same day.

Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community just needs to have more in their way of assisted living, because it is just strictly independent living, but they had good floor plans. They had storage and they had the nice closet space for some of the studios. So, the selection of studios was really good and then they had balconies and lanais. That was nice. The staff was really good. Everybody seemed friendly and they knew each other. The girl made me feel like "Wow! This would be a good place to live." It's pretty clean. It was a good atmosphere. It's kind of an older building. It's not updated but again, I liked the floor plan, so that kind of overrode.

We liked Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community and I think in the future, we'll go there. It was excellent. They had a very nice facility and the staff seemed to be appropriate in number to the amount of residents. Everybody seemed happy to be there. The building was kind of old, but the rooms were clean and had enough space. They had various levels. They had a studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom. It met almost anybody's requirements in that regard. They have a pool, a bocce ball court, a putting green, and a bus that takes you around to local places. They had an onsite nursing facility and a doctor visited there and held office hours there. It was pretty well self-contained if you wanted to stay there or if you wanted to go out, you could. It was very open in that regard. The dining area looked appropriately staffed. We didn't partake of a meal, but no one there looked to be hungry.

Lely Palms was a fair place. It's expensive, but it's just not as fancy and decorated. They raise the prices within a year, which is not a good thing. They need to add some flowers, pictures, or something fun. The person who showed me around was nice. The food was good. They had a gym and a salon. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about is that they have a laundry room outside your unit, which is a little inconvenient for a senior.

I toured Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community. They were very sweet. Everybody was so nice. You want to be there because everybody was friendly and helpful. You can't ask for any more than that. I like the location because I'm sort of in that neighborhood already and it has the same church that I go to. The place that they showed me was beautiful when you're looking outside. It was a nice and well-kept area. There were so many things I liked about it. There was a studio apartment, and if it was the only thing I could have, I would have it. But the staff took into what they call an alcove, and it was much bigger, and it was just enough for me. It had just what I needed. At this age and the way I feel, I don't need to be taking off a whole house and doing cooking all the time, so it just really fits me. They had one that would be due maybe in June or July, so the staff said, 'Let me hold on to it until you get approved and everything, and we'll see. And if you see something else, then we can make a final decision.' The staff who gave me the tour was excellent. She was very informative. She told me things to help me that I didn't even know. They were very good.

I will be moving into Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community. It was very nice. I liked their program and it was less expensive than all the others. The staff was very helpful, and what impressed me was the residents looked happy. The buildings were very nice. The rooms were a decent size and they're very well equipped. They have lots of amenities, anything you could possibly want. What is nice about this is it is all inclusive. You only pay for what you get. They gave us lunch when we made our first visit, and that was excellent. They have gardens and nice walking trails. I really liked it.

My father will be moving into Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community. It had everything that I was looking for, for him, for services, and it was in his price range. It was definitely a nice place. It had meals, housekeeping, and then 24-hour people onsite plus a life alert necklace just in case you fall or get lost. It just met every need that I was looking for. The staff was wonderful. The lady at the front desk was very nice. She's the one that does all the introduction, showing the tour and everything, and she was wonderful as well. The dining hall looked nice. They had nice table settings, cloth napkins, and stuff like that. They have a daily menu and they also have an ala carte menu if you don't like what they're making for that day so you can get something else. There are always options. It's kind of older and outdated, but for the price, it was really good.

I liked that Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community had separate little apartments away from the main building. They also had the flexibility of dining onsite or not, which fit what I needed. They were efficient. Time is important to me and as soon as I walked in, they were ready. We saw what was available, the different sizes of apartments, and the redone interior (hey change them every time someone new moves in). Size-wise, it fits me, and the interior was nice. It didn't take me long to decide on that location.

We visited Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community, and the management there was very nice. We more or less have seen the one-bedroom apartment and two-bedroom apartment and they showed us the whole community. There were some rooms for playing games, the big dining room, the lobby, and the cafeteria where you can sit and get coffee and cake. Everything is available. You can play games, they have painting courses, yoga or Pilates, or something like that. On Thursday, they have a happy hour and a musician will come and there is music and you can dance if you want. After that, at 6:00, there is a game where you can win something. We will go there tomorrow for that. We decided that if we go there, we would like to have the two-bedroom apartment, which is just $500 more expensive than the one-bedroom apartment. The other possibility is to have a villa which is outside of the main building. They have many villas which are 1200 square feet roughly, but you are out of the building and it's not what we want. We want to be in the community with other people, to talk to them, play with them, and do things with them. They can give us the feeling that we are a member of the community. The staff was very open-minded. We had a good conversation with her. We got a good feeling for this person and if we go to such an independent living place, we would rather go to her than to somebody else. It's not so modern, but it's a good combination of the price and the comfort. It's an old building, but it's good.

I visited Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community and I like them very much. The people were so friendly. Everybody who was there talked to us. People are living there independently. Everybody loved it there. I had lunch, and they were very courteous. The people were so nice, and the place is very nice too. It's very impressive, I recommend them. The room is very nice, not so tiny, nice-sized, and everything. They have a complete kitchen, then a bath and shower with a seat in it. The room is big enough for a good-sized bed and living room. It has a nice-sized lanai with a storage room. They had a swimming pool. There are lots of activities. They have a bar, a meeting room, happy hour, an exercise room with a lot of equipment, and an exercise chair with a trainer. They also have a beautiful dining room, community room, and TV room. The food was very good. There's a pretty good restaurant here in Naples, and their food and the serving are pretty much equal to it. It is nicely presented, and not just like in a hospital. It's very nicely kept. There was a maintenance guy, and he was taking care of one room, something in the bathroom. They kept the grounds and everything clean. They still have some old carpets, but they told me, if I want to before I move in, they will take the carpet and put hard flooring in it.

Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community, is exactly what we were looking for, for mom. The staff was wonderful. The people staying there were wonderful. Some of the residents approached me and said mom's going to love it here, and said, "I love it here." Even the residents were happy. When we got there, we went through the front door and the dining room was right in the front. They were having a special lunch and it was discounted at only $3. Sometimes on Sundays, they have a discounted breakfast in the dining room for $3. The studio apartment was clean. It was right by the elevator, which is exactly what we were looking for, for my mom. They have just so many activities for the elderly and the staff there was amazing. Everyone was very nice. Everyone had smiles and seemed happy. It was a wonderful experience and I'm happy that I'm going to be moving my mom here in a couple of weeks. They have one-bedrooms available and there's a special they're running on the one-bedrooms. They're discounting $250 off right now off of their one-bedroom rate. They're also waiving the entrance fee (that's normally $2500) just to get the one-bedrooms that they have filled up. The one-bedroom is $2000 without any services and full service is $2650, but they'll take $250 off per month for the first six months. They have bingo, arts and crafts, a pool, and plenty of nature walking area. It's a large property with lots of pathways to walk on. For free, they'll take the group to certain places like the park to see a concert. They have some transportation that's included. It's clean and it's beautiful. It's an older community, but they've updated, and they've put in new cabinets. The one that I'm getting for my mom has new cabinets. Anything that needs to be replaced is replaced. Everything was in working condition. The elevators were nice. It just was very pleasant. My mom's gonna have a good time there. They had two studio apartments right next door, and they were the same as my mom's. The dining room was full, so I think that speaks for itself.

I went to Lely Palms, a ProMedica Senior Living Community. The tour was very good and very informative. Renee was wonderful. She was extremely informative, and she seemed very caring. I was very pleased with the facility. The facility was a little dated. However, I don't need the ambiance and I'd rather have something well-built and clean, and it was clean and very orderly. The staff was wonderful because I'm very friendly and I say hello when I speak to everybody. Most of the staff have been there for 18 years or more, which speaks very well of the staff, which is very nice. They weren't having any activities when I was there. I saw three people playing Scrabble, but I know what activities that are available and everything, and I'm hoping more people to avail themselves of the activities. The rooms I viewed at Lely Palms were the studio and the alcove, and they were more than sufficient. The studio is larger than I anticipated; it would suffice for me. The alcove is much bigger, which is very nice for me as well. I was very pleased with the size. They were wonderful. I even spoke with the cleaning lady there and she was lovely.

My parents found a place, and they're going to move in in a couple of months at Lely Palms. It has independent, assisted, and memory care. When my parents decide which one they need to go to, they're covered; I do like that aspect of it. They took us to lunch, and the food was very good. We got a really good feel for it. It's a very warm caring feel for the place. I feel comfortable having my parents there. The room has a full kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave. Outside, there's a pool, a bocce court, and a putting green.

My mom is in Lely Palms, she's in their independent living. It's positive, they have quite a few activities and they have some support if needed, with the doctors and nurses that come there once a week. That helps if she needs something and they've been very helpful. They have not taken the residents out because the bus has broken down. It's an older community and I think other ones have more to offer but for my mom, it's working. They keep the place very clean. They're very good with the maintenance and all that.

I went to Lely Palms. They have independent, assisted, and nursing in the premises, and you can go from one to the other. They have a swimming pool, a garden area in the back, and the independent was very nice. They have a washer and dryer inside the unit, they have lanai, and it was very nicely decorated. I had lunch there, it was really nice, they had good food and good chef. The staff was very nice, but the price was way too much for me.

Lely Palms was excellent. They had a whole range of activities, like card games and going out to dinner at a restaurant. The food was excellent in their restaurant. They had a swimming pool, an 18-hole putting course, shuffle board, and visiting entertainment. They would take you to the bank, stores, and doctor's appointments by van or anywhere you needed to go. It would not cost you anything. They had bingo, a happy hour every week, and dancing once a week. They had an exercise room and a library. They also had water exercises, tai-chi, and aerobics.

They were really friendly, but what I didn’t like about Lely Palms was that they have their own telephone that you have to use because other phones wouldn’t work, and some of the channels on the TV didn't work. It was kind of offbeat. This one was close to where everybody I knew lived and was also less expensive than the others because it's more like a rental instead of buying into it. It was simple but clean, large, and OK. Their dining area was very good. It was older but reasonably priced.

You live in villas not apartments here in Lely Palms Retirement. Their high-rise is assisted living while the independent living is the villas. They have a complete kitchen and a carport. They give you a golf cart with the facility. I didn't think the patients were near as happy as my other facility. That's the only reason I didn't go here. You are escorted by an advertisement person who acted like she really didn't care if we were there or not.

I think they’ve got a lot of renovations to do at Lely Palms, but they are doing it. The visit was OK, and they were good at giving information. We were mainly interested in the villas and were not much interested in activities at all. Well we thought the villa areas and the grounds were a little run down, but that’s what they’re renovating. We could see a few buildings that have been painted. The apartments were not huge, but they were nice and were pretty clean. I’d say they’re a big facility because they got a lot of villas there. I think they’re a very good location too. CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart are all around and, a hospital is close by.

I am happy mom is in Lely Palms; it is perfect for her. The rooms are nothing great, but they have a lot of programs, and she is not in her room that much. They have a little living room with TV and they all go in there. She plays cards and does activities, and she eats her meals in the dining room. There are a lot of things to do, and she loves the food; she said the food is the best ever. They take very good care of her, but the only negative I would say is that the room is a little small. They had a little lake on the facilit,y and she could walk around the pond which is a good thing.

I was very impressed with Lely Palms. Their cottages are very nice, and they surround the buildings that house the assisted living program, memory care unit, a long term unit, and rehab unit. We ate there and it was fabulous. They have activities also except the classrooms didn’t seems as big, and the types are different. I thought they were reasonably priced. The biggest problem was the drive to our current doctors. It was quite long.

Lely Palms seemed to be the best deal. I like the community, the space, and the staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms were very spacious. It was nice and had extra storage space. It also had a nice lanai. The food was very good. It wasn't regimented. At some of the other ones we visited, you had to have lunch at 12 o'clock, and you had to sit at an assigned table.

I have lived in an assisted living/independent facility for 20 months and am very happy with it. I am moving because the cost of living here was just too expensive for me. Lely Palms is within my budget so, regretfully, I made the choice to move. I compare the change in living facilities as going from a "grand" hotel to a "country" inn. I made two visits and had one dinner at Lely Palms and found the food very good and was comfortable with the residence.

My wife and I are at a stage where we're slowing down, so I'm trying to get information on retirement homes. I toured Lely Palms and I looked at a one bedroom condo with a kitchen and two baths. They were fairly nice. The staff were very courteous. The young lady invited me back with my wife to stay for lunch so that we could sample their restaurant. She showed me all of the facilities and she gave me a nice explanation on what they provide and what they didn't provide. She was very helpful.
