Both of my parents were residents at this facility for approximately two years. We have nothing but good things to say. Lots of activities. Always bathed and dressed. Spiritual needs met. Lots of fond memories. Kept safe. Both died of old age eight months apart; received excellent end of life care via Hospice in their own room. Can't thank everyone there enough.

The facility itself is ok. The nursing staff and doctors were businesslike and not compassionate. Things were not as explained during admission: staff was regularly late for showering or not show up, housekeeping and trash pick up just not consistent. Panic button delays 20 or more minutes! Had to seek out nursing assistance several times. Doctor and nursing staff no urgency at all in ordering antibiotics medicine to the point that symptoms worsened and hospitalization occurred. Executive team is rude and unwilling to work through any issues. Not compassionate. Never recommend this place.

My father used to live at Amira Choice Naples. The staff was horrible. It smelled like poop when you walked in that place. The care that they gave him was horrible, that's why we moved him out of there. They just lock him in his room, leave him there, and do nothing with him. The community layout was okay. It seems like an institution. It was like being in an old nursing home even though it's a new building. There was a huge dining area. The problem is that for people who needed assistance, it was hard for the staff to help them because it was one huge room. They have activities like music, art, and cooking, and they cut hair.

My husband is a resident of Watercrest Naples. It's a wonderful place, but at this point, my husband also needs almost a full-time aide with him. I just can't afford the cost plus the full-time aide. It's coming out to a lot of money. Everything about the places is wonderful, and the staff is wonderful. The reason why I'm leaving is the cost right now. If he didn't need an aide, I would keep him there. It's extremely nice. It's very clean and updated. The staff, they have people there that are very high-end, and then they have some mediocre people. They have a mixture of both. The food is very good. For memory care, they have music, card games, bingo, and singing, that type of thing, just the basics. The apartments are very nice and nice-sized. They're all studios, just some are bigger than others. I think it's a little expensive, but I would say you're probably getting what you're paying for. They have a swimming pool. I would say, if you're using everything, you're going to get what you pay for.
