We chose Naples Green Village for my husband because it's smaller. I liked the people, and they are dog friendly and music friendly. Those are things that my husband likes, and I've been able to take our dog to visit him. It's like a family, and so far I'm very pleased. When I visit him, I walked in there feeling good for him and for myself too. The staff is very friendly. You can tell that they interact really well with the patients. They are in touch with me. If something happens, they call me about what needs to be done. It's good to have that communication with them. I've seen how they interact with the patients there in a very friendly and helpful way. I haven't tasted the food, but he keep saying he likes it. It was one of the difficulties he had at home, but he ate the whole thing. Every time I've gone, it looks very clean. They have very lovely courtyards. You can go out and sit out in the sun. There are a lot of different areas for them to sit back and listen to music, watch TV, or do activities. They have activities in the morning. It's more of like a Montessori method. If they don't feel like going, they don't have to go; however, the activities are offered to them. They have a weekly veterans meeting. They have people come into play music, and there's a happy hour once a week. There's a central area, which is the dining area where they all meet. They sit around and actually talk. My husband doesn't actually talk (just gibberish), but they listen. The value for money is the best of all the ones we went to see.

About Naples Green Village in Naples, Florida
At Naples Green Village, our compassionate staff understands the unique obstacles that our seniors face. They are specially trained, and on-site 24/7 in order to provide the attention and assistance that your loved one needs. From the minute your loved one steps into our community, our goal is to make them feel safe, secure, and at home.
Individualized Care, Tailored to Your Needs
All of our residents have a personalized assessment performed in order to create an individual care plan prior to move-in. This care plan is tailored to address the specific needs of your loved one. We understand and recognize that each of our residents has their own unique requirements for care, and customize each plan to meet those needs.
Assisted Living
As part of our wholistic care philosophy, we greatly emphasize daily exposure to a very pleasant and stimulating outdoor environment. The time our residents spend outdoors is often devoted to activities such as a pleasant walk in our courtyards to group gardening events. Hence, a key aspect of the full renovation of the facility was the addition of over 15,000 square feet of exterior courtyards and walkways. These intimate park-like areas are intended to entice our residents to the outdoors and enjoy an experience under magnificent oak trees and pleasantly meandering pathways. We take great pleasure in not only seeing how our residents enjoy the outdoor areas we have created, but also how our family members relish spending time with their relatives in this environment.
Memory Care
Memory Care at Naples Green Village is specially designed to provide the best care for our residents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimers/Dementia. Our on-site team of expertly trained staff and doctor/specialist partners are aware of the unique challenges that our residents face, and are each equipped to support and assist them with activities of day-to-day life, 24/7. For each resident that we tend to, Naples Green Village crafts a unique and focused care plan to ensure that our guided approach meets all of your loved ones needs. It's very important to understand that this community is "for profit". Meaning anything they can do to make more money and cut costs. They have gone thru 4 Executive Directors. There is no management of staff, caregivers, or Residents for that matter to ensure that your loved ones are in fact being cared for. There are many Residents who's families are remote - and this is a tragedy, because these Residents are struggling, no showers, no hair care, no toileting, little to no activities, no petti-care because there is no one advocating for them. There needs to be a major change here. Attitude adjustment. Someone needs to step up and care!!!!

I went to Naples Green Village, but they don't take Medicaid. The person who walked me around was very knowledgeable. It was very nice. If I could afford it, I would put my mom there. It was clean. It was well-run and very nice. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and patient. The rooms seemed to be kept in good condition. The dining area was beautiful and very nice. It was clean. It was put together, and it was inviting. You felt like you were in a restaurant. I know that they have a daily activity board, but I didn't really look.

Naples Green Village was very, very pleasant. The staff was very accommodating. It was a good atmosphere and it looked like the residents were very happy as well. They have a lot of social events, a lot of get-togethers, and a lot of areas for gathering. We had lunch there, and it was also very good. The rooms looked very comfortable. They're a little on the small side, but I think most assisted living arrangements are a little smaller. They're very clean and had a nice view of the courtyards and beautiful gardens. It was newly remodeled and very clean.

I saw both assisted living and memory care at Naples Green Village. It's a small, lovely residential facility with beautiful courtyards. The staff was outstanding. Their amenities were limited compared to other communities that I've seen. This was like a real simple community. It's not amenity-rich. My mom doesn't need that, but some people like amenities. They have a salon, and they have activities. I only met with the person in charge of sales. The facility inside was nice.

I chose Naples Green Village because they take Medicare waivers. I like the place; it's fine. The rooms are just like a 1-bedroom, and my husband will be going into a shared room pretty soon. They're renovating everything so it's nice. It's got a little counter with a refrigerator. We had to furnish all the furniture so he got a bed, a dresser, a nightstand, a couple of chairs, and he's all set. The staff is very good, he said the food is better than the previous nursing home, and that's saying a lot for him. They have activities, but with the COVID-19, they can't really get together.

It was good, but the clientele was a little lower functioning than my father. It was clean and they decorated it nicely. The atmosphere was very friendly. We met a couple of the staff members, they were friendly, and showed us around.

I liked it. It was an older facility, which was a negative, but I thought the staff was excellent and so caring, and I was so impressed with their activities. The residents definitely seemed happy. It was located in a regular neighborhood with businesses and medical facilities at the end of the street. They were getting ready to replace the carpeted hallway with hardwood, which would have been a nice upgrade.

My mom is in here, which is close to my house. They have enough people who seem to be good with the residents. The food is OK.

My mother is here. It suits our needs and she seems to be well taken care of. The people there are friendly and responsive. They have church services which she enjoys very much. She enjoys playing games, too. They play different games and have activities during the day. They keep them pretty busy; there's always something going on. They hold family events and family lunches once a month. They also have family information session, which are very nice. The staff is always available to answer questions whether it's a weekend or a weekday. I think it's a clean and homey place.
